Staffordshire and Shropshire Health Informatics Service (S&SHIS) is a shared service hosted by Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, providing digital and IT services to NHS organisations across Staffordshire and Shropshire.
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Service Delivery Team based at Lawton House, Trentham. As a Service Delivery Specialised Services Administrator, you will support healthcare services through the administration of IT procurement and NHS Registration Authority (RA) services.
You will coordinate the procurement of IT hardware, software, telecoms services and related equipment, working with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure services are delivered efficiently and in line with organisational processes. You will also administer NHS Smartcard services, supporting user access to systems whilst ensuring compliance with national RA policies and information governance requirements.
Acting as a key point of contact for customers and colleagues, you will provide advice, guidance and administrative support, maintain accurate records and support service improvements.
By ensuring staff have timely access to equipment, systems and services, you will help support the delivery of safe and effective patient care across the local health economy.
Main duties of the job
- Manage the end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, telecoms services and related equipment for customer organisations and internal teams.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, place orders, track deliveries and ensure compliance with procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate records relating to orders, budgets, billing, assets and configuration information.
- Administer NHS Registration Authority (RA) services, including the issue, maintenance and support of NHS Smartcards.
- Process access requests for new starters, leavers and staff role changes, ensuring compliance with national and local policies.
- Provide advice and support to users on Smartcard services, access management and self-service tools.
- Support the deployment and lifecycle management of IT equipment, ensuring assets are accurately recorded and tracked.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers and stakeholders, delivering a professional and customer-focused service.
- Assist with service improvement activities, testing, documentation and the implementation of new processes and systems.
- Help ensure NHS staff have access to the technology and systems they need to deliver safe and effective patient care.

The main purpose of this post is to provide 3rd line technical support to all aspects of hardware infrastructure, software applications and related technologies. The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin have an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Business Support Officer (BSO) to join their Mental Health Support Team (MHST). The role is a permanent one and you will be working 37.5 hours a week, based at Severn Fields Health Village. You will need a full driving licence and access to a car insured for Business Use as this role requires you to be able to travel between sites and community locations as needed.
The MHST provides early intervention within schools to support children and young peoples' mental and emotional wellbeing.
As the BSO, you will establish and maintain a business support infrastructure necessary to assist the Service Manager, Team Managers and Performance Manager in meeting the Trusts objectives and targets. This will include the development of systems and processes to monitor performance against the Trust's Key Performance Indicators (Quantity & Quality). You will analyse reports, extract data and feed this back in a format that can be used within Services/Teams for planning and supervision purposes.

- Request information / activity reports that are required on behalf of the Service Manager and Team Managers.
- Provide a central point of contact to respond to/resolve any queries where appropriate in relation to performance/outcomes.

- Process and manage general HR relevant information and systems for staff within MHST.
- Contribute to a robust and strong cohesive framework from the established BSO network, providing support to colleagues to ensure consistency and equity of provision across Services/Teams as required.
- Provide regular monthly Service/Team updates as required.
- Ability to use software programs, including MS Office applications and Power BI, and a range of office equipment including multi-function device for photocopying, printing, scanning etc.
- Attend and participate in BSO Meetings in ST&W Care Group and work with BSOs and admin staff for collective peer support, sickness/leave cover and to keep abreast of updates relevant to role.
- Participate in regular supervision and deliver 1:1 supervision with identified administration staff as directed. Report any training issues and needs.
- To deliver appropriate training to staff and support induction for new members of staff and produce appropriate training plans/s for the role.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with lived experience of mental health difficulties and accessing a community, primary or secondary mental health service.
The role is 30 hrs weekly and will be a highly valued team member based in the Central Shropshire Community Mental Health Team. The role will require you to work alongside a team of people working in a psychology profession to use your lived experience to come alongside people using services on a one-to-one and group basis to explore people's own goals and personalised recovery primarily in co-facilitating groups.
You will be working closely with other members of the team to co-facilitate the groups offer and ensure the service and its group offer and materials are co-produced.

We are looking to recruit a band 2 activities co-ordinator who has a passion for enabling engagement through activities. The post involves working with service users within an adult mental health ward.
We are looking for an individual who has knowledge, experience, and motivation for engaging people who require mental health inpatient care. The role will be focussed on providing a broad range of activities on a group and 1:1 basis to enable service users to engage in opportunities which actively support their recovery and transfer into a less restrictive setting. You will contribute to the delivery of an evidenced based service by working with the Multidisciplinary Team, other service providers, service users, carers and families, to provide an effective client centred service.
Main duties of the job
You will provide formalised support and practical assistance to service users in order for them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process. The aim is to engage and provide activities to service users on the ward that promotes recovery as part of the therapeutic day. Activities will focus on delivering social, recreational and leisure opportunities. The post holder will work as part of the ward based team and work collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Activities will take place within the ward environment, but may where appropriate take place in the community or hospital grounds. You will liaise closely with registered staff on service user issues and will receive clinical supervision from the ward based occupational therapist.

We are seeking a Telephony/Receptionist to undertake a wide range of duties including call handling and reception duties for a Secure Forensic Unit and corporate Trust HQ, along with administrative support.
As the first point of contact for the Trust, you will be responsible for providing a positive customer service experience; directing callers, visitors, colleagues to the most appropriate service for ongoing care, support and advice, of which some calls can be highly distressing.
You will be part of the Out of Hours District Nurses call handling service, acting as the first point of contact for all messages; this will include urgent calls, queries and referrals for the community District Nursing service in North and South Staffordshire. The post holder will be required to identify and forward urgent calls and enquiries, some of which may be complex and sensitive, direct to the triage nursing team in line with established processes - this includes RAG rating the calls as they come through and assigning to the wait lists.
This is role is working routine shifts, however you must be prepared to cover other receptionists when they are on annual leave/ sick leave, by taking on their complete duty at short notice including night duty.
Main duties of the job
All Telephonists/Receptionists will be required to have a general understanding and ability to carry out all tasks below however, some tasks may not be required at all locations:
- Receive and deal with general reception enquiries; this may include listening and responding to information requests or queries and enquiries and directing staff, service users, visitors, contractors, self-presenters etc as appropriate.
- First point of contact in the event of a medical emergency, psychiatric emergency and Fire; responsible for sending out bleeps via the Multitone system, monitoring and co-ordinating timely responses and follow on actions (i.e. Fire).

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Community Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to join the Stafford Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) based in Stafford.
This role is part of a functionalised model in which patients requiring inpatient care, crisis or home treatment have their care temporarily transferred to the relevant pathway.
You will provide leadership to the team as part of a collective leadership structure and offering support and supervision as required to the Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Non-Medical Prescribers.
You may be responsible to supervise a trainee and there are also opportunities available in the Trust to participate in postgraduate and undergraduate education for Junior Doctors and medical students from Keele Medical School
You will hold acaseload of approximately 90 of which many will have other clinicians in the IMHT working with them. The team is made up of 2.6wte Psychiatrists, 1.0 Advanced Clinical Practitioner, 6.8wte Nurses, 2.0 Nursing Associate, 1.8wte Occupational Therapists, 2.0wte Psychologists, 2.0wte Psychological Therapist, 2.0 Clinical Associate in Psychology, 4.0wte Healthcare Support Workers 0.8 Peer Recovery Worker and 1 Team Manager.
All Consultant Psychiatrists are supported in developing their ways of working within the MPFT Living Our Values Framework.
You will take part in out of hours duties; on call work is remunerated at 3% as well as 0.25 APAs.
Main duties of the job
As Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide medical leadership within a collective leadership model.
As part of this role, you will be expected to:
- Ensure, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, regular effective review of the care of patients in the clinical pathway - via individual assessments and follow up appointments, MDT meetings and sometimes the Care Programme Approach (CPA) review, particularly where the complexity requires it.
- Be the Responsible Clinician for service users in the pathway who are subject to Community Treatment Order (CTO) where applicable

The team is based at Hall Court in Telford and provides mental health assessment, treatment and support to people in Telford & Wrekin. As an integral team in the Urgent Care Pathway we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work with people who are experiencing a mental health crisis, require extra support alongside their regular support network or who can have the same treatment provided at home that they would receive in a Mental Health Hospital.

North Shropshire Community Mental Health Service provide assessment and evidence based interventions for people who presenting with complex mental health difficulties that are significantly impacting on their daily life alongside our partner organisations.
We are looking for a practitioner to the join our team to work alongside our primary & secondary care practitioners and wider partners to support the triage and assessment of those being referred into our service.
You will need to encourage effective engagement of this cohort of people, utilising excellent communication skills, whilst maintaining compassion and hope through every contact. We also keen to incorporate a trauma informed psychological approach which aims to increase people's independence, working towards an improved quality of life.
There is an emphasis on team based multi-disciplinary decision making which lends itself to creating a supportive environment for staff. We also value a culture of active service and personal development for all staff.
Main duties of the job
- To support the triage and assessments of individuals who referred into the service alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team that includes community mental health nurses, psychology, consultant psychiatrist, occupational therapists, peer support (lived experience) workers, health care support workers and housing and financial advisors.
- You will be responsible for undertaking assessments individually, alongside the wider team and/or alongside our partners in order to establish the person's goals, needs, risks and strengths to generate a formulation based plan of care with the individual and their support network
- You will alongside wider colleagues in the team acting as a point of contact to provide clinical advice and guidance to patients and families where needed, as well as partner services for those being referred to the service
- There will be opportunity where felt appropriate to provide brief interventions to individuals referred into the service to support their recovery and where it may prevent a need for more long term involvement from the service.
- As part of the local mental health alliance network you will have opportunity to attend our weekly meetings to provide opportunity to look at how best as services we can work together to support individuals who are presenting with multiple needs, risks and complexity. Particularly where engagement may be difficult.

Job summary
To offer an extended service to ensure an appropriate assessment of mental health need for CYP in mental health crisis and in need of appropriate intensive support ensuring the delivery of safe and effective practice as part of the CYP wellbeing and recovery action plan. The post holder will work directly with children and young people with mental health needs and their families, carrying out assessments (including risk management) and effective treatment and/or interventions, with the aim of helping children and young people participate in normal family and community activities and to facilitate positive outcomes of care in relation to young people's mental health needs. The role will also facilitate hospital admission avoidance and seamless transitions between services where appropriate.
They will also be expected to work flexibly within the Team to support a crisis, brief intervention and intensive support function. Dependent on skill and service need they will need to be available to external professionals and carers to offer advice, signposting and guidance (especially in relation to urgency and risk) associated with children and young people's mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Potholder will provide assessments and interventions for CYP as part of the MDT for those experiencing severe to moderate mental health conditions.
Mental Health, Children's and LD Nurses and those with a social work background are encouraged to apply.

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join our Community Mental Health Services within North Shropshire Locality.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly developing, dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team delivering an enhanced offer in partnership with colleagues to older adults who are experiencing an functional mental illness. You will work collaboratively with service users, carers, and partner agencies to promote recovery, independence, and quality of life.
Working in a multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with internal and external agencies, you will;
- Provide specialist assessment and care planning in conjunction with wider community services, service users and carers
- Evaluate treatment plans
- Triage and assess referrals received by the service in liaison with multi-disciplinary colleagues
- Co-ordinate the work of the Team
- Take responsibility for managing a caseload.
Main duties of the job
- Take responsibility for the management of a complex caseload, which includes, specialist assessment, care planning in conjunction with service user and carer, evaluation of individual treatment plans
- Responsible for participating in the setting of quality standards, including the auditing, monitoring and reviewing of practice in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
- Administer medication (Nurses only), complying with relevant Trust procedures and NMC Guidance
- Assess patient's individual care needs, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
- Deliver a range of interventions in accordance with the agreed plan of care and pathway guidance including; pharmacological and psychologically informed interventions.

CBT Therapist - Sexual Abuse and Assault Pathway (Fixed term until 30/09/2028 Tull Time)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised CBT Therapist to join our Sexual Abuse and Assault Pathway in North Staffordshire. This post will work exclusively within the Sexual Assault services pathway delivered in partnership by North Staffordshire Combined NHS Trust, Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, VCSE partners (Survive and Women's Aid), and the Staffordshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
This is a temporary six-month post providing high-intensity psychological interventions, initially focused on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). The postholder will work with individuals presenting to mental health services with difficulties related to complex trauma.
The successful candidate will manage and assess referrals in line with service protocols, undertaking autonomous assessment, formulation, and delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions. The role requires sensitive and compassionate engagement with clients and, where appropriate, their families, while contributing to a stepped-care approach through close multidisciplinary and multi-agency collaboration. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical records and data, meeting agreed activity targets to support timely access to care, and contributing to service evaluation and improvement activities.
