Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust as a Project Support Officer, providing dedicated support to the team delivering our Adult Mental Health Inpatient Redesign Programme.
Our Adult Mental Health Inpatient Redesign Programme will transform the future of our inpatient services and the environments in which we provide care. As the programme moves through its next stages of design, planning and delivery, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated individual to become an integral member of the Project Team.
You don't need to be a construction or estates specialist. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills who enjoys working as part of a busy team, can manage competing priorities and has an interest in supporting the successful delivery of complex projects.
Applications are welcomed on a secondment basis from existing NHS employees, subject to agreement from their substantive employer. A fixed-term contract will be considered where a secondment arrangement is not appropriate, or for applicants who are not currently employed within the NHS.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HTFT would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Project Team with the day-to-day coordination and administration of the Adult Mental Health Inpatient Redesign Programme.
- Coordinating project meetings, workshops and steering groups involving a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Preparing agendas, taking minutes and action notes, and maintaining accurate action and decision logs.
- Supporting the monitoring, recording and reporting of project actions, risks, milestones and key activities.
- Assisting with the preparation and coordination of project reports, presentations, briefing papers and other documentation.
- Maintaining project records, information systems, databases and document management arrangements.
- Helping to maintain project plans and ensuring that key timescales, milestones and reporting requirements are understood and communicated.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of project management templates, processes and governance arrangements.
- Assisting with project budget monitoring, financial reporting and the coordination of invoices.
- Acting as a central point of contact for project queries and supporting effective communication across the Project Team.
- Liaising with colleagues, consultants, contractors and other external stakeholders.
- Supporting wider Estates and Facilities project and governance activities as required.
