Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Critical Care for a House keeper.
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our Critical Care Department.
The post holder will work as an integral part of the team and will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
You will need to possess good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate must be caring, compassionate and possess a positive attitude to supporting colleagues in the delivery of high quality, safe, effective care for our patients.
Main duties of the job
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs, as determined by the ward sister/charge nurse.

Based in the North East of England we provide a range of hospital and community health services from our leading facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon urgent care centre and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead.

Job responsibilities
To assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards on the ward.
To ensure general and specialist equipment, e.g drip stands and medical equipment are cleaned as per cleaning policy.
To encourage and assist patients to order food, where necessary taking into account special needs and medical requirement.
To prepare and serve hot/cold snacks as requested.
To serve meals in conjunction with the nursing team, ensuring patients intake is known and that their dietary needs are met.
To provide people with assistance to eat and drink eg cutting up food, placing food and drinks within reach, encouraging patients to eat.

To ensure all food and beverages are served at the correct temperature according to food hygiene regulations.

Job overview We are looking for a Clinical Lead with substantial experience of treating eating disorders to join the established NELFT London Community Eating Disorder Service. The clinical lead will have extensive experience of working in eating disorders and be a fully registered and senior clinical or counselling psychologist. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Pharmacy Technician, South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC) to join our friendly team and help shape the future of our pharmacy services at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals.
As a Senior Clinical Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care on the renal wards. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of medication reconciliation, a vital step in ensuring that patients receive the correct medications right from the start of their hospital stay. You will also be involved in the seamless management of Patients' Own Medication, supporting the efficient and effective practice of one-stop dispensing.

Main duties of the job
Your primary role being to undertake medicines reconciliation and take drug histories in order to ensure the patients receive the correct medications right from the start of their hospital stay to ensure that there is appropriate usage of Patient's Own medication and to promote one stop dispensing.
You will be involved throughout the patient journey helping the wards to ensure TTOs are dispensed prior to discharge, communicating effectively with our community colleagues when appropriate.
You will be an accredited checking technician (ACPT) and will have regular checking slots in the dispensary. In liaison with the Deputy Chief Pharmacist, Clinical Services and other members of the pharmacy team you will also be involved in the management of medicines on the ward, audit and financial savings projects.
You will participate in late duty, Bank Holiday and weekend rotas and be part of a seven day service.

Job summary
The Community Inpatient Unit provides Rehabilitation, Re-ablement and recovery interventions for adults in North East Lincolnshire. The service will promote faster recovery from illness, prevent unnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-term care, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent living wherever possible. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Band 5 Nurse to join the multidisciplinary team on a temporary basis at the Community Inpatient Unit (CIU), which provides nursing and enablement services to patients within the Rehabilitation and Recovery Inpatient Unit.
CIU provide short term reablement for Services Users who may need to regain their confidence and skills on discharge from hospital or to get over a short-term health exacerbation. This includes assessing complex and specialist needs and developing, implementing and evaluating programmes of care, in order to support individuals to remain in community settings, in their own home, residential home or nursing home.
The role will require you to undertake various clinical duties including assessment, wound management, injections, and continence care as well as dealing with acutely unwell. Ideally we are looking for some with previous community experience however this is not essential as you will received training and support.
In return you will be part of a forward thinking MDT team, receive opportunities for further development, regular supervision and support.

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-motivated and reliable person to join our friendly team in the Microbiology department at BHR University Hospitals Trust. The department is based on two sites; Queen's Hospital in Romford and King George Hospital in Goodmayes. The King George Hospital site is the current primary work base, however working at the Queen's Hospital site will be required.
You should have a science-based foundation degree, preferably Biomedical Science, or equivalent qualification. You will be computer literate, have the ability to follow procedures, have good written/verbal communication skills and an enthusiasm for learning. The post holder will receive formal training within the Trust as well as within the Microbiology Department. Performance will be assessed regularly by an appraisal system and laboratory-based competence assessment.The post holder will work in all areas of the laboratory on a rotational basis, including the bacteriology sections based at Queens Hospital.
The position requires staff to work flexible hours during the week as well as at weekends and bank holidays, providing a seven-day working week service. We are a very busy department and require staff to work as a team to allow us to efficiently process the daily workload
Main duties of the job
The post holder will rotate through sections of Microbiology, working in a team to perform complex analytical investigations on patient samples in order to provide a quality and timely diagnostic and monitoring service essential for patient care. Although not UK registered, the post holder will hold relevant qualifications in Medical Laboratory Science or Technology, but will not take responsibility for validating or authorising patient results.

This full-time post will be based primarily at our new Elective Surgical Hub at King George Hospital, with additional cross-site responsibilities at Queen's Hospital.

Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, responsive urology service across both elective and emergency pathways.
Provide inpatient and emergency urology cover at Queen's Hospital, including the assessment and management of acute referrals and supporting patient flow within the service.
Participate in the assessment and management of elective and non-elective urology patients in inpatient, outpatient and operating theatre settings.
Attend outpatient clinics, diagnostic sessions and elective operating lists, with graduated responsibility appropriate to their experience, competence and service requirements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics to join service at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The post is a 12-month fixed-term appointment.
The services works cohesively to deliver the best care for women, children and families. There is an over-arching senior leadership team comprising the Care Group Director, Operational Director, Director of Midwifery and Director of Nursing for Children and Young People.
Each service and specialty has its own leadership team including a Specialty Lead, Specialty Manager, Matrons and Service Manager. The Group also has a Trust wide remit for the professional leadership of children's nursing and as an advocate for children and youngpeople.
Main duties of the job
Duties for the post holder will be on the inpatient wards, Children's emergency department, CYPAU and Tropical Bay. The rota involves daytime and night duties, compliant with the European Working Time and Deanery Directives. Full induction to operations, duties,responsibilities and expectations will be provided.
There is a Consultant led handover followed by a consultant led ward round every morning on both inpatient wards and the successful candidate will be responsible for taking an active role in managing the patients along with the rest of the team. At any time the immediate clinical back-up from a middle grade doctor (Registrar) and our supportive nursing team will be available.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Specialist Surgical Care Collaborative administration team, the service aims to provide a high quality, locally delivered, patient focussed service.
This role will be crucial to the efficient day to day delivery of the service.
We are looking for a competent and professional Medical Secretary to be based at the Cumberland Infirmary.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will often be the first point of contact for our patients therefore a professional, patient focused approach is key at all times. You will provide a high standard of administration support to the clinical team, liaising with other departments, patients, NHS Trusts and external agencies.
You should be educated to GCSE (minimum C Grade) standard, be trained to RSA level 3 standard and/or an NVQ level 3 in Administration and/or have the equivalent experience, preferably having a medical administration background.
We are looking for someone with a pleasant, adaptable disposition who can remain calm under pressure and deal with a busy workload efficiently and effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as a positive approach to working in a team.

Band 3 Clinical Support Worker - part time - 22.5 hours per week
The band 3 will cover the Neurology Service at the CDC
The post holder will be flexible across CDC/CIC to cover service need.
You will work with indirect supervision under the Registered Nurse; assisting with nursing care and providing information and assistance to the patient, their relatives and carers. You will also utilise acquired skills gained from an extended role as directed by the lead clinical nurse of the department.

Team Secretary Band 3, Cumberland Infirmary 30 hours per week
A Team Secretary role within the Specialist Surgical Care Collaborative. Ideally an experienced Team Secretary with medical terminology knowledge, as well as knowledge of NCIC admin systems and processes, including RTT pathways and Digital Dictation Systems.
Main duties of the job
The team consists of Medical Secretaries, Team Secretaries and Clerk typists, working alongside Consultants, Nurse Practitioners, etc to achieve Business Unit objectives including a 48 hour turn around of clinical letters, forward clinic preparation, minute taking and general office admin duties including phones and emails etc.
