Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Commissioning to join ourNeighbourhood North team. At North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board, we arecommitted to providing high-quality care and support to our community.
The role covers the Northumberland, North Tyneside and North Cumbria areas, therefore you will be expected to travel around these areas.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will support the ICB's Commissioning group, working in the Neighbourhood North team.
The postholder will work as part of a multi-professional leadership team to drive forward the vision of the ICB through three identified groups, working closely with Nursing, Medical and Finance colleagues to support teams to work collaboratively and effectively towards shared goals.
The postholder will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across a broad range of commissioning activities, ensuring that commissioned services are high quality, financially sustainable and deliver improved outcomes for local populations. Working closely with providers, clinical leaders, and system partners, you will lead programmes of service improvement and redesign as appropriate in line with the critical functions of an Integrated Care Board.

Our Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the largest in the country.
The ICB is responsible for ensuring that high quality and safe health services are accessible to all of our communities. It has a wide range of functions, including; promoting integration of health and care services, improving peoples health and well-being, reducing health inequalities.
With a £6.6 billion budget and a workforce of 170,000 people across the North East and North Cumbria. As well as strategic functions, ICB staff also work at place level with local health and wellbeing boards in each of our 14 local authority areas. These teams also work alongside our 67 primary care networks which are groups of local GP practices, social care teams and other community- based area providers.
The ICB works with our Provider Collaborative too, this includes the 11 NHS Foundation Trusts in the region, to deliver our shared priorities.

The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.
Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.
Main duties of the job
Our busy 6 bedded general ICU unit provides adult intensive care/ high dependency care and post anaesthetic care for elective and emergency patients across a range of medical and surgical specialities including, Renal, Cardiology, Respiratory,Orthopaedic, Neurological and Obstetric patients. Within our ICU we are actively involved in stabilisation and transfer of adult patients requiring more specific intensive care e.g. neurological trauma, burns, spinal injuries, cardiac and hepatic disease. The ICU at WCH also specialises in the stabilisation and delivery of intensive care / high dependency care of paediatric patients, prior to transfer to a specialised Paediatric ICU. The ICU at WCH benefits from our own dedicated Clinical educator, who provides and facilities on the job training alongside co-ordinating further continued professional development for all the ICU nursing team . The unit will provide a 6 week preceptorship period with input and support form our Intensive Care Clinical Educator.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the STEPS Eating Disorders Inpatient Unit at Blackberry Hill. Job summary
The South West Gambling Service would like to recruit Clinical Psychologists or Cognitive Behaviour Therapists. We provide treatment to people experiencing gambling harms as well as their families and significant others, working in a trauma informed manner. These exciting new roles can be based in any location across the South West of England as we are a remote working team.
The roles involve assessment, formulation and treatment, providing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Family Interventions, both individually and in groups. The role involves working as part of the MDT, participating in relevant meetings and processes, and supporting our wider network of partner organisations.
As Gambling services are new to the NHS we will provide support and training to help you in your role. The team have regular in-person meetings and there is a strong focus on staff wellbeing. The role will involve working at least one evening per week according to service needs and there will be opportunities to get involved in research and service development.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide, evidence-based psychological therapy to people who experience gambling harms in line with the NICE guidelines. The service covers the South West of England and the majority of our work is completed online (although face to face appointments may be required depending on service needs).

- Assess and treat people experiencing gambling harms and co-occurring needs, and maintain associated records on the electronic patient record system.
- Provide high-intensity, evidence-based psychological interventions; these will include at least Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing for people with a broad range of needs.
- Provide consultation, liaison, and, where appropriate, clinical supervision to other professionals, including less experienced therapists, Assistant Psychologists, and Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
- Undertake clinical audit and service evaluation activities to support the development of services relevant to client needs.
- Develop best-practice knowledge in working with people who gamble and promote expertise in this area, including supporting research projects where appropriate, with the guidance of the Clinical Lead.

Job summary
Southwest Op Courage Integrated Veterans Mental Health Service covers Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Dorset; our operational base is in Weston-Super-Mare. The service is one of six national NHS England commissioned Op Courage services and is delivered by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust in partnership with five other sub-contracted services.
Op Courage provides a complete pathway, delivered by a Multi-Disciplinary Team and starting with a comprehensive needs-led conversation in line with Your Team, Your Care and Your Plan; it is followed by evidence-based interventions/treatment for a wide range of need and complexity, from the early signs of mental health problems through to complex mental health difficulties and psychological trauma.
The postholder will need to live within the Southwest and will be assigned to cover an agreed area. For those living within the AWP footprint (i.e. Bristol, Wiltshire etc.), they will be assigned to their nearest AWP base. For staff who live outside the AWP footprint i.e. in Devon or Cornwall, and do not have a local AWP base, travel expenses will start after 10 miles travel each way.
The postholder will also be expected to attend face-to-face team meetings and Trust training which will be within the Op Courage footprint but may be outside their usual working area.
Main duties of the job
- Develop and lead a defined drug, alcohol, and gambling harm service for veterans across the Southwest. This will include liaising with key local providers, including statutory and voluntary organisations, to establish and maintain veteran specific pathways.
- Develop specific outcome measures, monitor and lead on Drug and Alcohol Key Performance Indicators.
- Lead on ensuring that veterans can access accredited/statutory substance misuse and addiction services and to support the veteran to access trauma focused interventions delivered by Op Courage.
- Ensure that veterans with a dual diagnosis of mental health and substance misuse have shared care arrangements in place to ensure both their mental health needs together with drug and alcohol addictions are addressed, to reduce harm and support their recovery.
- Have a small, allocated caseload of service users and will ensure that for all veterans on caseload with substance use and/or gambling harm, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment and care is evidence-based, coordinated, and meets assessed needs.
- Offer specific substance misuse training to the wider teamAttend occasional external weekend events to support promotion of the service i.e. at Armed Forces days.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a HCPC and RCSLT registered Speech and Language Therapist, with developed skills, working with communication impairments and dysphagia after stroke, as well as experience working with a community caseload including people with dementia and acquired neurological conditions. You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills in developing service provision and clinical pathways relating to these specialisms. You will have a commitment to providing a high standard of patient focussed care and be a strong team player, with the ability to lead and influence others.
You will be employed by Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS FT as part of their SLT service and as such have access to a team of colleagues with a range of skills and commitment to providing high standards of evidence based approaches, you will be supported by a SLT team leader.
We are a large and dynamic Speech and Language Therapy service of over 100 staff, working across all service areas in Derbyshire.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.

Job summary
The Regional Rehabilitation and Mobility Service (RREMS) provides clinical engineering expertise to 12 wheelchair services across the North-east of England and North Cumbria. In addition to this post, the team comprises 12 Clinical Technologist in Rehabilitation Engineering, 2 Rehabilitation Engineering Technologists and 6 administrative staff. This position is based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.

Main duties of the job
RREMS Clinical Technologists specialise in the provision of Rehabilitation Engineering which is the clinical application of engineering principles and technology within the aim to restoring or improving the physical, mental and social wellbeing of 70000 NHS wheelchair users (of which approx. 4000 have powered wheelchairs) and their carers to their maximum potential.
Applications are invited from candidates with a degree level qualification or have equivalent experience in an appropriate discipline and have demonstrable relevant experience having completed a recognised engineering or technical apprenticeship or training course. In addition, the post holder will be required to be enrol onto IPEM Clinical Technologist Training Scheme, which will result in professional registered as a Clinical Technologist with RCT or AHCS.
RREMS Clinical Technologists work independently, or as part of multidisciplinary teams, providing specialist engineering services and technical knowledge enabling patient care.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate must be proficient in the use of a computer, have proven organisational skills and demonstrate an attention to detail in their work. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
You will play a key role in preparing medicines for our patients. You will also carry out general housekeeping, filing and receptionist duties and undertake daily stock checks.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with 60 minutes lunch. You will also participate in the late rota, weekend and Bank Holiday rotas.
To be considered, candidates must hold an NVQ qualification Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or an equivalent recognised qualification. Previous hospital experience is not a necessity but enthusiasm for a new challenge and a willingness to learn are key!

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide strategic, operational and professional leadership across a broad range of services.
As a key member of the Hospice leadership team, you will lead the development and delivery of our supportive care strategy in line with the Hospice Strategy 20262031. You will drive service transformation, develop innovative models of care, strengthen community partnerships, expand volunteer-led services, reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for patients, families and carers.
You will work collaboratively across the Hospice, the North East London Integrated Care System, voluntary sector partners and local communities to ensure our services remain accessible, responsive and sustainable.
A significant aspect of the role is leading engagement with diverse communities, increasing awareness of hospice services, developing strategic partnerships and supporting the ambitions of compassionate communities across East London.

We are looking for physically capable, motivated, caring and compassionate individuals who to join the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) at Barts Health as Patient Transport Drivers (PTDs).
Our NEPTS is available for patients who cannot travel to or from our hospitals using any other method of transport because of their medical or mobility condition, or because their medical condition would otherwise worsen. All requests for patient transport are assessed on medical need. Transport is only provided for patients coming from their home addresses to North East London NHS Trust locations. Transport is also provided for patients going home from a North East London NHS Trust locations to a booked address stated by the ward or clinic anywhere in the mainland UK.

Main duties of the job
Our Non-Emergency patient transport service is available for patients who cannot travel to or from our hospitals using any other method of transport because of their medical or mobility condition, or because their medical condition would otherwise worsen. All requests for patient transport are assessed on medical need. Transport is only provided for patients coming from their home addresses to Bart's health Trust NHS' locations.
Patient Care
Patient Transport Drivers should ensure that all patients are safely transported in a timely manner, whilst being treated with dignity and respect. They will undertake dynamic risk assessments of patients and their environment, work to the highest standards and be diligent in reporting defects and patient related concerns (such as safeguarding). Should a patient become unwell in their care, PTDs will treat and care for their patient within the scope of their training and recognise when to escalate to the emergency services.
Lifting, Moving and Handling
A Patient Transport Driver is expected to be physically fit, healthy and capable of undertaking their full contracted role involving significant moving and handling of patients and equipment. PTDs duties include transferring patients to and from their homes and vehicle, from homes and apartments, using a variety of equipment based on the patient's mobility needs.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to join the Data Quality Team as a Data Quality Facilitator. This post will be to assist the Data Quality and Patient Access Manager in the delivery of the trust's digital strategy.
The post will be responsible for ensuring that the systems and processes required to maintain good data quality in digital systems are in place and to support clinicians and managers within operational services in developing good practices in relation to data quality.
The post holder will also in collaboration with the information management team develop and maintain a range of data quality management tools to support the monitoring and analysis of data from patient information systems.
Main duties of the job
- Management - Carry out appraisals and one to one's for Data Quality Clerks, Assistant's and Officers within the Department on the request of the Team Lead. Provide Team Lead cover for holidays and sickness.
- Assist in the induction and training of new Data Quality staff to the Department, ensuring updating of the job guide, providing support and guidance.
- Undertake regular data quality checks and audits on data originating from clinical teams in order to ensure the data meets national data standards and requirements and is of the highest quality.
- Seeking resolution to data quality issues raised in the data quality reports by liaising with, and attending regular data quality meetings with, clinical and administrative staff across the Trust and by working in conjunction with colleagues in the information management team

Job summary
The radiology department is a thriving, cohesive team seeking Consultant Radiologists with subspecialty interests including Chest, Head and Neck/Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, and Vascular Interventional Radiology. The post will provide additional specialist reporting to support and develop Trust imaging services, with flexibility to accommodate the successful applicant's interests. Duties include general and specialist MRI and CT reporting, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and support for specialist MDTs. Vascular Interventional Radiology candidates will also undertake vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures. The role includes acute general work within a dedicated CT and MRI reporting hub, plus a two-hour weekly duty radiologist session. Diagnostic Radiology on-call is currently 1 in 15, covering 5pm-9pm weekdays and 9am-9pm weekends, with external cover outside these hours and occasional remote cover by the post holder. Most shifts are supported by a radiology registrar. Interventional Radiology on-call is currently 1 in 6 and is expected to reduce with further appointments. Further details are available on request.
Main duties of the job
The post can be based at one of the two main acute hospital sites situated in York or Scarborough. There is an expectation to provide onsite clinical cover at both of these sites from the Consultant Radiologist workforce (currently approximately one day per fortnight at the none base site; travel time between sites included in the remuneration package).
Acute CT and MRI reporting is dealt with by a team based within a dedicated acute reporting hub allowing cross-cover and subspecialty support.
All Radiologists have a short weekly session as the duty radiologist to support general vetting and radiographer queries.
Protected subspecialist reporting sessions are job planned and tailored to sub speciality interests, but might include: diagnostic ultrasound, fluoroscopy, MRI and CT lists, with intervention based on specialty and alongside both cancer and non-cancer MDTs.

The radiology department is committed to teaching. We support radiology trainees from both West Yorkshire (Leeds) and east Yorkshire (Hull) training schemes.
