o To work as a highly specialist Clinical Neuropsychologist providing high-quality neuropsychological assessment and, where appropriate, intervention to patients with neurological conditions and their families across outpatient and inpatient settings.
o To provide advice, consultation, supervision, teaching and training to other professionals and non-professional carers as appropriate.
o To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework, policies and procedures of the Neuropsychology Department and the Essex Neurosciences Service.

About us
We're an organisation that is getting better and better and our improvements are driven by a determination to deliver care we're proud of and our patients are happy with.
They are benefitting from a new electronic patient record (we were the last acute trust in London to introduce one) and our maternity services have been rated good by the Care Quality Commission.
We operate from two main sites - KGH in Goodmayes and Queen's Hospital in Romford. We have two busy emergency departments with more than 346,000 people visiting them last year. We're campaigning to secure the £35m we need to transform the A&E at Queen's and get rid of corridor care.
We're proud of our regional Neurosciences Centre, Radiotherapy Centre and Hyper Acute Stroke Unit. We're also part of the North East London Cancer Alliance.
We run a Women's Health Hub in Ilford; an Ageing Well Centre in Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) at Barking Community Hospital and at St George's Health and Wellbeing Hub. These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The majority of our 8,400 staff - who come from 146 different countries - live in the three diverse London boroughs we serve and are from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups. Many can work flexibly and more than 400 of them are on our Ofsted accredited apprenticeship programmes. We're proud to be a London Living Wage employer.

Job summary
Tiptree Medical Centre are looking for an organised, confident and proactive Operations Supervisor to take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of our reception and administrative functions.
This is a varied, hands-on supervisory role at the heart of the practice. You will lead our reception and administration teams, coordinate clinical and non-clinical rotas, support HR processes and ensure that important operational systems and workflows run effectively.
The role would suit someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, improving processes and keeping a busy organisation running smoothly. Previous NHS or general practice experience would be helpful, but strong supervisory and operational experience from another sector would also be welcomed.
Main duties of the job
- Lead and support the reception and administration teams, including staff training and day-to-day supervision.
- Coordinate clinical and non-clinical rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing and cover.
- Oversee reception and administrative processes, including appointment booking and workflow management.
- Manage the practice telephone system and help ensure effective patient access.
- Authorise staff leave and undertake appraisals for appropriate non-clinical staff.
- Support day-to-day HR administration and staff management.
- Maintain and oversee key practice operational information, including the Practice Index and SystmOne home screen.
- Coordinate Significant Event Reviews, ensuring actions are recorded and followed through.
- Ensure relevant claims are actioned accurately and promptly.
- Oversee and improve administrative workflows, including discharge reviews, GPAD and BP filing.
- Coordinate the administrative aspects of the QOF recall process, ensuring systems are effective and deadlines are met.
- Work closely with the senior management and clinical teams to identify problems and continually improve the way the practice operates.
This is an opportunity to take on a genuinely influential operational role within a busy GP practice. Rather than simply administering established processes, we want someone who will take ownership, improve how things work and help develop our reception and administration teams.
About us
We are a friendly, busy, and innovative GMS practice caring for approximately 12,000 patients in north-east Essex, where work-life balance is more than just a buzzword. Our team includes two supportive GP partners, 7 salaried GPs, an excellent nursing team with specialist skills in diabetes, asthma and COPD, 4 advanced nurse practitioners (ANPs), practice nurses, HCAs, clinical pharmacists, and a dedicated administrative and reception team working together to provide high-quality patient care. We pride ourselves on being relaxed, family-friendly, and supportive, with flexible working patterns and a strong team ethos. As a training practice for medical and nursing students, we are committed to learning, development, and continuous improvement. We use ANIMA total triage and embrace new ways of working while maintaining the traditional values of family medicine and patient-centred care. What we offer:
- Competitive salary dependent on experience
- NHS Pension Scheme
- A family-friendly environment
- Professional development and training
- Supportive GP Partners
- A genuine opportunity to influence the future direction of a highly regarded practice
