We are looking for a talented individual who is confident and skilled with their clinical skills. You will be required to manage a diverse, complex caseload within dynamic environments.
You will need to demonstrate clinical, supervisory and leadership skills to support junior members of staff and students.
This role will be on the Medicine wards at Colchester Hospital.
The post will initially be at Clacton Hospital. Subsequent Band 6 rotations include: Stroke, Community Neuro Rehab, Medicine, Waiting Well, Older People's Services, IRAS, Respiratory and Critical Care.
Main duties of the job
To plan and organise a designated caseload of complex patients within the designated service and own professional activities under the management of Team Leader.
To work with the patient and carers to identify and meet OT goals, using standardised and OT assessment tools to assess their skills deficits, occupational needs and achieve functional fitness for timely discharge.
In collaboration with the patient, to plan and implement single or a programme of interventions using treatment techniques to meet the patient's needs re; timely discharge. These will be achieved using professional and theoretical knowledge, and specialist clinical reasoning skills.
To monitor, evaluate and modify treatment interventions to measure progress and ensure effectiveness, involving patient, carer and MDT as appropriate.
To ensure Therapy goals are integral to the multidisciplinary care plan re: safe and timely discharge.
To apply an enhanced understanding of effects and impact of illness, frailty and disability on patient's abilities and provide advice and education regarding lifestyle changes / adaptations to their physical and social environment.

Main duties of the job
To act as the main admin resource for the team, processing referrals,letters and other communications effectively to aid with the smooth running of the reception area and provide efficient administrative support for team members.

- Process discharge paperwork & update system accordingly
- Type letters for the team.
- Book appointments on patient record system/ update case notes on patient record system as required.
- Take minutes at team meetings & transcribe accurately.
- Answer telephone calls & relay messages in timely manner.

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our highly regarded Surrey Perinatal mental health service.
The role is for our NW team based in Chertsey. We offer a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR, Systemic Couples therapy, IPT, CFT, and ACT, and this role would be suitable for anyone interested in transgenerational patterns of trauma, attachment and parent and infant mental health. Our MDT consists of highly skilled, and psychologically minded professionals including Psychiatrists, perinatal mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, peer support workers and nursery nurses.
We are accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, highlighting the excellent and specialised care provided by the service. Our service aims to provide specialist and early help to parents and babies to help with a range of perinatal mental health issues. We are also involved in shaping trauma informed care in the perinatal period and thinking across wider services.
You will be one of a team of Psychologists who work in the three teams, we regularly meet for reflective practice and specialist supervision and have excellent training opportunities including opportunities to access specialist training such as EMDR, to develop an area of specialist interest and one's own style of working. Staff well-being and development are at the heart of our ambitions.
Main duties of the job
This Part time role involves providing individual and systemic support to women and their families within the community. The focus will be on delivering formulation based and NICE recommended psychological interventions to women with moderate to severe mental health difficulties who are pregnant or within 12 months of the postnatal period.
You will be responsible for supervision of Psychologists within the team and contribute to the supervision, consultation and training of the wider MDT.
We have a thriving group program which you will contribute to, and we welcome development of innovative clinical practice in all areas of our work. You will receive regular management and clinical supervision, and reflective practice, and will have support and supervision from the senior psychologist within the team.
All candidates should be registered with the HCPC, and eligible for BPS Chartered Status. The ability to work across Surrey is essential and a car is required.

We are seeking one Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians to join us.
Pharmacy technicians are a vital part of the pharmacy team. They work under the supervision of the pharmacist to ensure the safe running of the pharmacy and make sure patients get the most from their medicines. The role will enable successful candidates to undertake the necessary training and development to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Our Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician Apprentices undertake a 2-year distance learning training programme with the University of East Anglia with lots of support from our dedicated and experienced training team. You will attend a virtual training to study for the coursework for your Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice.
To be eligible to apply for the Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician, you will need 4 GCSE's at grade C/4 or above including Maths, English and science (or a combined science award with one qualification at C/4 or above plus another GCSE). Maths and English Functional skills levels 2 can also be accepted. Senior Paediatric Liaison Mental Health Practitioner Core 13
We have an exciting opportunity to offer a Senior Paediatric Liaison Nurse/ Practitioner (PLN) B7 position within the recently established Core 13 PLN service at Frimley Park Hospital (FPH), supporting children and young people's mental health needs. You will be joining an exciting new service providing clinical leadership and supervision for the PLN's in the team and will be well supported by the General Manager and Consultant Psychiatrist as part of your own development.
The CYPS (Children and Young Peoples Services) Paediatric Liaison Service at FPH is vital to ensuring the needs of the CYP presenting at ED (Emergency Department) with mental health and emotional issues are met in a timely manner. The post holder will be required to comprehensively assess, plan their care and facilitate safe discharge in conjunction with the CYP and their main carer/s, as well as effectively interface and build on the relationships with ED Paediatric colleagues and associated CYP services and agencies.
The Core 13 Service at FPH - called as such because it will operate x13 hours a day from 9am-10pm, x7 days a week - is a new developing service assessing and caring the CYP with mental health and emotional well-being issues from any geographical area. You will be expected to be part of a rostering system to cover the hours of operation in this role.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will lead clinical assessment of the CYP who may have a complex co-morbid mental health need and present in crisis, working alongside medical, nursing and other professional colleagues to ensure that the most effective care and treatment is provided resulting in safe and timely discharge
- Work closely with ED, the SABP Adult Psychiatric Liaison Service, Mental Health Crisis Teams, On Call Duty Psychiatrist, On Call Managers, other Paediatric Liaison Workers, ensuring the CYP's are seen in a timely manner, risk is assessed and a management plan is developed.
- To work within a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team involved in the assessment and treatment of CYP with serious and complex mental health difficulties in crisis.
- To manage own workload from referral to discharge/transfer, holding medium to high-risk cases as well as ensuring time to attend supervision.
- Be responsible for the initial assessment and subsequent facilitation of referral to Hope and/or discharge with a signed care plan regarding safety and recorded on the EPR
- Represent the Service at professional/network meetings to offer advice/consultation on complex cases.

Job summary
Due to exciting changes, we are seeking Band 7 Crisis Intervention Nurses within the Mindworks Crisis Intervention Service for the North East Hants area.
The Mindworks Alliance is a partnership between traditional CAMHS Services and third sector/voluntary agencies working to meet the emotional and mental health needs of CYP in Surrey and now NE Hants.
Our team provide a 7-day week Crisis Intervention Service, offering discovery conversations to CYP & their families/carers presenting with emotional and mental health crisis in local acute hospitals and community bases.
Our operational hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Sunday including Bank Holidays. Unsocial and weekend shifts will be expected and we use the e-roster system to ensure you are aware of your shifts. Your main base will be Aldershot Centre for Health, though you will be expected to in reach to Frimley Park Hospital and homes of CYP.
The successful candidate will hold an appropriate professional registration with NMC as an RMN. Experience and competence in working with vulnerable people in crisis is essential. Working with young people in crisis is desirable.
Main duties of the job
The main duties within this role are leading and supporting assessment, risk and care planning alongside CYP, their family/carers and the acute staff to safely facilitate discharge with follow up care planned in the community within 7 days. Where appropriate you will offer up to 6 follow up sessions with the CYP and ensure referral and signposting to appropriate services for longer term follow up is put in place and supportive discharge/transfer facilitated.
Supporting junior staff to provide high quality care, sharing learning and developing skills through supervision and training while maintaining KPI's and collecting data to support the service growth and development are all part of this exciting role. Youth Justice CAMHS Practitioner role - Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker. Main duties of the job
- To routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based clinical interventions, both in-line with the CYP-IAPT programme within SET CAMHS. - The post holder will be responsible for delivering clinical interventions within SET CAMHS/Youth Justice settings to children, young people and their families/carers. - To be able to assess and develop plans of care to meet the complex needs of patients with a variety of conditions. This includes brief and longer-term intervention through NICE recommended treatments. - Providing a direct service to children and young people and their families, in an accessible and less stigmatizing environment, based on the best available research evidence, within clinical governance. - To be part of the Youth Justice team, providing support and guidance on mental health presentations in young people and providing direct interventions.

We are recruiting for a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to join Salisbury Community CAMHS and work with a well-established multi-disciplinary team at Salisbury District hospital.

Main duties of the job
- Provide clinical leadership and medical input to the team

- The team will assess all emergencies referred to it within a day of referral. When necessary, this will include responsibility for Mental Health Act assessment of patients. The Consultant is not expected to make initial assessments, except in certain circumstances. The Consultant psychiatrists will work in partnership within the multidisciplinary team for the clinical management of patients in relation to the Trust Key working model. This will include risk assessment, the assessment of the needs of carers, and the development of services to meet the needs of patients and families for whom the team is responsible.
- Be a clinical leaders in your team and ensure excellent systems of clinical governance so that their team provides high quality, safe care to patients. Consultants are expected to encourage a Restorative Just and Learning Culture of Learning, participate in safety huddles and investigations and participate in identifying improvements in practice where appropriate.

Job summary
The Trust seeks to appoint a Consultant Anaesthetist. This is a whole-time position, and the new appointee will share the caseload, facilities, and trainee grade support with the existing consultants. Requirements of the post-holder are listed below.
The post is whole time post of 10 PA's and offers 8.5 programmed activities (PAs), and 1.5 SPA.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide pre-operative assessment, anaesthesia, and follow-up. He/she will be expected to introduce and apply new techniques as appropriate and to take a share of the general work of the department, including cover for consultant colleagues where practical. There are opportunities and support provided to develop leadership roles such as sub-specialty lead and college tutor.
The Department of Anaesthesia is committed to continuing its teaching role and considerable importance is attached to the support of the junior medical staff in the Department.
Main duties of the job
The appointment is to the Trust, not to specific hospitals. The appointee will take his/her share of clinical responsibilities within the Department of anaesthesia. This will include provision for clinics in the pre-operative assessment department. In addition to any duties within a subspeciality of interest, the appointee will be required to provide anaesthesia for adult and child patients in all specialties as appropriate to his/her training and experience.
There is a need to develop a team with a strong emphasis on delivering a cross-site service. Post-holders will be required to work on each site.
Consultants will agree to a job plan, which is reviewed annually.

The North Cumbria Breast Imaging Unit offers a wide range of high-quality services for all patients with breast problems. It is also the centre for the North Cumbria Breast Screening Programme. All care is patient-centred and is delivered within a supportive environment by a team of experts, who are all specialists within their own field.
We are a friendly department based across two sites making the most of the skills of both Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners by encouraging role development and advanced practice having adopted the four-tier structure with 1 Consultant Mammographers and 3 Advanced Practitioners in post.
We are looking for a qualified Female* Mammographer to join our breast imaging team. Training will be provided for the right applicant. The Post holder will be based at West Cumberland Hospital Whitehaven but will be expected to travel Cumberland Infirmary if required.

Main duties of the job
You will work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team providing both screening and symptomatic breast imaging to the population of North and West Cumbria. You will gain a wealth of experience in breast imaging supported by the existing breast imaging team.
The North Cumbria Breast Screening Unit provides screening to approximately 22,500 women per year between the ages of 50-70 as part of the National Health Service Breast Programme.

Main duties of the job

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with 60 minutes lunch. You will also participate in the late rota, weekend and Bank Holiday rotas.
To be considered, candidates must hold an NVQ qualification Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or an equivalent recognised qualification. Previous hospital experience is not a necessity but enthusiasm for a new challenge and a willingness to learn are key!

We are seeking to recruit Supervisors to specifically support the supervision of the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) within the MHSTs. These post holders must have a good understanding of CBT and have clinically practiced using this model. We want our post holder to be able to lead by example in clinical practice and be able to support junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge of the evidence bases for our low intensity interventions.
The Senior Clinician will be a graduate qualified health care professional, and ideally have formal CBT training for example:

Job summary
Sunderland Counselling Service (SCS) is excited to be working alongside Primary Care Networks (PCN) in Sunderland to develop and enhance the high intensity service provision across the city for patients who have one or more long-term conditions or are in receipt of fit notes as part of the Fit Talk Programme with the aim to improve their mental and emotional wellbeing.
The post holder will be qualified and accredited within one or more recognised Talking Therapies High Intensity modalities which must include High Intensity CBT. Secondary training in other recognised talking therapies modalities such as Person-Centred Counselling for Depression (CfD), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing MDR EMDR) is welcomed.
This is an exciting opportunity to intervene early with clients who have co-morbidity issues to enhance their emotional resilience and prevent further longer-term mental health distress.
This is an in person position and the post holder will be expected to work primarily from the SCS base in Sunderland, along with a range of GP surgeries and community venues to best meet client needs. Some interventions may be offered over the phone and on-line, so the ability to work confidentiality from home may also be required.
Main duties of the job
The High Intensity CBT Therapistwill work outside of a traditional talking therapies service, this pathway is a fully compliant Talking Therapies offer and therapists will be expected to adhere to all requirements of the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression manual.
They will complete assessments and provide appropriate community-based interventions for clients with a range of complex problems relating to anxiety and depression and for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.
The post holder will be employed on SCS terms and conditions and offered an NHS comparable agenda for change Band Seven salary subject to qualification and accreditation status.
They work closely with the PCN teams to develop effective pathways and referral routes for patients who may benefit from this intervention. They will be expected to effectively comply with the SCS Clinical and Information Governance requirements and hold appropriate access to PCN systems as relevant to the role.
The post holder will work with people with diverse cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
This will be a permanent position subject to a successful probationary period of three months.

Job summary
The Transfer of Care Hub is a newly developed team with in BSW who are responsible for covering the 3 identified work streams of patient flow: Front door referrals, Clinically ready for discharge and Out of area placements.
This is a rare opportunity to work within the team as a Bed Capacity Co-ordinator for a 12 month secondment period. Your role will involve the logistical co-ordination of inpatient beds across BSW with the guidance and support of senior colleagues within the Transfer of Care Hub.
Please note this role adapts a hybrid work model, you will at times be required to attend one of our BSW sites in person for whole team working days and team meetings.

Main duties of the job
Support the effective and efficient use of inpatient beds.
Liaise with clinicians across BSW as directed, including external stakeholders to ensure the optimum use of inpatient beds.
To monitor the flow of all inpatient admissions, including liaising with other providers for timely return of any out-of-area placements to minimise financial impact on the organisation.
To contribute to the development of new ways of working and a changing commissioning landscape.
