Job summary

We offer input to adults with complex and diverse mental health needs. We are dedicated to developing trauma-informed principles of care in conjunction with the Trauma Informed PD pathway. We are proud of our varied group programme (including DBT, and Structured Clinical Management). We embrace and offer various psychological approaches: Integrative, CAT, CBT, Compassion Focussed, ACT, Psychoanalytic psychotherapy, MBT, EMDR and Family-Systemic psychotherapy. The role encompasses multi-disciplinary working, service-development, individual therapy, group, supervision and consultation responsibilities. In all, the post offers a wonderfully diverse working role!
Although this is a band 8a post, it is also open to newly qualified clinical/counselling psychologists as a band 7 preceptorship and adult psychotherapists, including and family and systemic psychotherapists.
All employees of the Trust are strongly encouraged to have their up-to-date flu vaccination to protect staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is flexible and creative in response to service and patient needs and interested in positively influencing systems through promoting psychological ways of working. The role involves various responsibilities, utilising different psychological models. You will work with a range of professionals including psychological therapists, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Advanced Practitioners, Social Workers, Psychiatrists and Occupational Therapists.
There are considerable professional and clinical supervision opportunities. We also strongly encourage the development of clinical interests through CPD. The team is well known for being supportive - encouraging self-care, flexible working, and professional development.
There are also strong links with the University of Leeds Doctoral Training course and the Trust has strong research and clinical outcome links. Audit and evaluation are encouraged and supported across the Trust.

We are looking to recruit hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our Catering Team based in the main kitchen at Fieldhead Hospital. This post includes weekend and bank holiday working.
The successful post holders will be required to provide a safe, nutritious and exciting meal service to service users, staff and visitors. You will also participate in the preparation of functions and special events, no two events are the same which will provide you with a challenge and diversity in the job role.
Catering, food safety, cleanliness and hygiene in healthcare environments is paramount; therefore we are looking to appoint staff who are ambitious, motivated and take pride in the work they do. You will be responsible for cleaning duties in the kitchen this is to ensure a safe, efficient workplace and environment for all. You will adhere to the NHS cleaning standards.
The post holder will be required to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and you will be able to use your initiative to prioritise and organise daily duties. You will maintain a professional approach and comply with all relevant policies and procedures.

Job summary
A fantastic opportunity has become available in the Calderdale CAMHS Learning Disability Team for a Learning Disability Nurse. The opportunity has arisen due to career progression.
The Learning Disability Team in Calderdale is a small, welcoming, friendly team who have strong relationships with partner agencies which supports collaborative working and transition to adult services. The team are visible within community settings and participate in panels and meetings to ensure that children and young peoples needs are understood.
The team have won a SWYPT Excellence Award in 2025 due to the Behaviour in Bitesize group they offer to parents and carers. This group is held in high regard and receives positive feedback. The team are now extending this group offer to specialist schools to support the work they deliver.
The successful applicant will provide community-based nursing care for children and young people (aged 0-18) with learning disabilities and associated complex health needs. Due to this the role is varied as the team offer assessment, formulation, 1.1. work, group work, care co-ordination and support to partner agencies and professionals through consultation. The team also support a local university with teaching and student nurse placements.
The team is closely aligned to other professionals within the other CAMHS pathways and as such, advice and support are provided to CAMHS colleagues as required.
Main duties of the job
To act as a specialist practitioner in childrens learning disability nursing within a community setting.
To undertake holistic assessments and formulate the information to understand the needs of a children or young person and their parent/carer.
To be able to collaborate with partner agencies such as the disabled children team and specialist schools.
To be able to advocate for children, young people and their parents and carers to support their needs being understood and met.
To undertake and review care plans/risk assessments.
To attend multi agency meetings and panels to contribute information in a professional manner.
The post is full time but part time and flexible working can be considered.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated Band 3 Health Care Assistant to work with our Community Neurological Specialist Services (Epilepsy and Parkinsons) throughout the Barnsley area.

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time band 6 post within the Single Point of Access (Barnsley). The service operates Mon-Fri 08:00-18:30 and weekends 8am-16:00hrs with flexible working patterns available.

The team offers triages, initial assessment for service users referred to secondary care mental health teams. We have very good established working relationship with other parts of the service and third sector organisations.
We are based at Lundwood health centre and cover several clinics out at GP practices across the borough in addition to home visits.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be expected to carry out initial assessments in a variety of settings for service users referred into secondary care mental health services. The team accept referrals from local GP practices, other health care professionals and partnering agencies.
The post requires excellent risk assessment skills and confidence in decision making around complex mental health conditions.
You will be working in a supportive multi-disciplinary team however you must be able to undertake lone working in community settings. You will also be expected to liaise with other parts of statutory services and third sector organisations.
The applicant will undertake the role of duty worker in addition to assessments and triage. This will involve accepting referrals, providing advice and signposting to service users and their families.

Main duties of the job
The role will primarily support admin staff within our Central Functions Team based within Kendray Hospital Barnsley. This will be supported through strong development plans, team working and examination of structures. Our administrative team support clinical colleagues in the delivery of a quality patient experience. You will help to lead in the ongoing development of a full and comprehensive administrative support service within Barnsleys Physical Health and Wellbeing Care Group and the Central Functions Team. By joining the existing team, you will become a strong team player and assist us to further develop our team.
The successful candidate will be educated to NVQ level 4 in Business Admin or possess an equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant discipline. It is essential that you have the ability to work flexibly, and the post holder may be expected to work at other locations within the area. As such a car driver with regular access to a car is essential.
This post is 30 hours per week, 7 hours 30 mins per day over 4 days working 9am to 5pm.

The South Kirklees Enhanced Pathway team is a community mental health team operating in Huddersfield, as an Occupational Therapist you will be crucial to the MDT way of working and pivotal in delivering high quality care.

The Care Home Liaison Team is seeking a highly motivated Secretary to provide outstanding administrative support to its multidisciplinary team. If you are a hard-working individual who prides yourself on excellent communication and administrative skills, then we would like to hear from you.

The Care Home Liaison Team is a small but very busy multidisciplinary team comprising of Community Psychiatric Nurses, an Occupational Therapist, a Support Worker and a Consultant Psychiatrist, providing a liaison service to more than 70 care homes across Kirklees. The team is committed to delivering a high standard of care to older adults living in care homes who have mental health needs.

Main duties of the job
Duties will include:
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls, taking messages, and handling queries effectively.
Minute Taking
Processing letters, Treatment Advice Notes and emails.
Uploading documents to SystemOne.
Communication: Act as a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, ensuring professional and sensitive communication with service users.
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive secretarial service including, audio typing, minute-taking, diary management, and handling correspondence.
Record Management: Maintain accurate and confidential records using electronic patient record systems (e.g., SystmOne), ensuring compliance with data protection and information governance policies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with various multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a supportive and efficient working environment.

South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team based at Folly Hall Mills, Huddersfield. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the CAMHS service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Psychiatrist who is passionate about providing timely services in outpatient setting and ensuring safe and effective interventions are delivered to our vulnerable population. The CAMHS outpatient team comprises of neurodevelopmental, learning disabilities , crisis, eating disorders pathways and core CAMHS comprising of multidiscipline with good skill set . The Consultant will work with all the disciplines of the team, and with external agencies within the child's network, to provide assessments, consultation, advice, and support to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for young people presenting to our service.

Seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Clinical or Counselling Psychologist for temporary post to cover maternity leave.
The Calderdale Core team is a collaborative adult mental health team, comprised of mental health nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, support workers and clinical and counselling psychologists and psychotherapists. We are embracing trauma informed practice and exciting developments in mental health community transformation.
Within your role, you will provide psychological therapy to service users and support the psychological thinking within the wider team. Offering clinical supervision is also a part of the working role and we will support you to develop in this area (particularly if employed as newly qualified).
Currently we have a broad psychological therapy offer and the service offers both individual and group therapies, contributing to a rich and varied experience in the working role. We are a collaborative and supportive team with support for continued professional development, clinical supervision, and line management. Opportunities for further training and gaining experience in other clinical areas will also be supported.
You will be supported by the managerial and leadership structure of the core team, alongside receiving access to line management, professional and clinical supervision from clinical psychologists based with the Core team.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a clinical psychologist with interest and enthusiasm for working with service users with complex psychological and mental health needs.
We are particularly looking for individuals who have a strong interest or experience of working with adults with complex psychological problems, and of delivering psychological therapies to this client group alongside offering psychological consultation to mental health team members.
We have good links to the D. Clin Psych training course at Leeds, offering placements to trainees, supervising research and providing teaching.

The Neighbourhood Teams Advanced Nurse (ANP) will be responsible for the delivery of safe and effective nursing practice across our Neighbourhood Teams, ensuring a 2-hour response to crisis call outs, providing ongoing support as appropriate.
Working as part of the multi-disciplinary urgent community response service to support unwell patients in domiciliary care homes and their own homes. To undertake face-to-face assessment, diagnosis and treatment for community patients presenting as unwell to prevent hospital admission, where appropriate and keep patients safe within their own homes.
The Advanced Nurse (ANP) will ensure clinical systems are in place to support and monitor practice and performance and support the Clinical Team Leader in the operational delivery of the service.
The Advanced Nurse (ANP) will hold accountability for all service user allocations across the Crisis 2 hour nursing pathway having shared responsibility for the clinical caseload management for the team.
Working with other lead Nurses the post holder will provide trust wide leadership and support within their own discipline or urgent crisis response.
1.1Care/service/function provision:

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a hard-working person to join our deep clean team. You will be based at Kendray Hospital in Barnsley but work trust wide, deep cleaning our sites. The role involves hand and machinery cleaning of hospital premises and wards. Experience would be great, but training will be provided for the right candidate. We use trust vehicles to get around our many sites, so a full clean driving licence is essential. Shifts are normally Monday to Friday but will also include some weekends and Bank Holidays. Shifts are normally 6AM 2PM although we do work as late as 3PM 11PM in certain areas. Shift times will occasionally change at short notice. Flexibility is key in this role.
Duties include
Hand and machine internal deep cleaning of trust properties.
Outbreak infection control cleans.
Using mechanical cleaning equipment such as scrubbing machines, carpet cleaners, high vacuums and steam cleaners.

To build own knowledge of employment legislation and case law in order to inform the advice provided to Managers.

To liaise with colleagues in the People Directorate, where appropriate, re value based recruitment, apprentices etc.
To understand the workforce performance information provided to the Care Groups and how this can be used to support Managers to optimise workforce effectiveness and efficiency e.g. sickness absence trends by service line.

To be aware of wellbeing initiatives and action plans from the six month staff wellbeing and engagement survey and how these can be promoted within the Care Groups.

JOB SUMMARY
The People Relations Advisor will work as part of the Trustwide Operational People Relations Team and will provide a comprehensive, professional and business focussed advisory service with the support of the Senior People Relations advisor and People Relations manager. This will involve coaching and advising Line Managers and employees on a range of employment practices, policies and terms and conditions.
The People Relations Advisor will support the People Relations Business Partners and People Relations managers in their work as part of the Care Group Management Team to promote a valued based approach to the leadership, management and development of the workforce which enables the delivery of safe, effective, caring and well led services in line with the Trusts missions and values.
A key area of work will be to support the Trusts initiatives and workstreams to transform its services and workforce advising on the necessary People Relations interventions to achieve organisational change.
The People Relations Advisor, together with colleagues in the People Relations Team will be expected to support the delivery of key strategic People Relations and People Directorate outcomes in the Care Group.
