Job summary
Ever find yourself thinking, There must be a better way of doing this?
So do we.
Were a small, supportive team at Springfield Surgery who believe general practice works best when people are encouraged to question, improve and try new ideas not simply accept that this is how its always been done.
Were looking for a Salaried GP who wants to help us build the kind of practice we want for ourselves and our families.
Someone who enjoys sharing ideas, solving problems together and turning those everyday frustrations into practical changes that make life better for patients and the team.
We wont pretend general practice is easy. There are busy days, difficult decisions and plenty of things outside our control. But we dont want to spend every day fighting the same fires.
We want to work smarter, support each other and create a practice where good ideas are heard and people genuinely enjoy being part of the team.
If you are looking for somewhere you can be a GP and have a real say in how the practice develops, we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a varied general practice caseload, including face-to-face, telephone and online consultations. Assess, diagnose and manage acute and long-term conditions, prescribe safely, review medications and arrange appropriate investigations, referrals and follow-up.
Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support continuity for patients and families. Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to safeguarding, clinical governance, significant-event reviews and quality improvement.
Were particularly keen to welcome a GP who enjoys sharing ideas, solving problems collaboratively and helping us improve how the practice works for both patients and the team.
About us

Were proud of the personal care we provide and the relationships we build with our patients and families. We know general practice can be busy and challenging, but we believe it should also be supportive, collaborative and rewarding.
Were looking for people who want to be part of that bringing ideas, sharing responsibility and helping us shape a practice were genuinely proud to work in.
