We have a new anaesthesia fellowships at Ashford and St Peter's, which are ideally suited to candidates looking to develop their sub-specialty interests and enhance their CVs for ST4 or consultant applications.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience in anaesthesia and critical care, and be able to cover on calls in theatres, labour ward and intensive care with distant supervision.
These posts are available from August 2025 and will be for 6-12 months duration depending on applicants preference.
Main duties of the job
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the peri-operative care of patients in their sub-specialty interest areas. Work will be a mix of training lists and solo lists with more distant supervision, dependent on levels of skill and experience. In addition to theatre lists, fellows will contribute to service delivery and governance by partaking in projects, such as service development and quality improvement projects. There will also be opportunities to organise and deliver teaching sessions to the department and to the wider multi-disciplinary team.
Fellows will provide on call cover on a 1 in 8 rota covering either theatres, obstetrics or intensive care, with supervision from the consultant on call.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the General and Specialist Medicine division at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. A 37.5 hour full time role of Outpatients Pathway Coordinator (Neurology and Stroke) is required to provide administrative support to the ASPH. It requires a high level of organisational skills and someone who is good at communicating with a wide range of health care professionals as well as patients and their relatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for many roles including organising timetables, dealing with clinic capacity and the outpatient waiting lists for both new and follow up patients. Ideally the successful candidate will have an understanding of the 18-week pathway.
Computer skills are essential, and training will be given on hospital administration systems.

Main duties of the job
You will work closely with Service Managers, Clinical Office Team Leader, Appointments Centre, Clinical Office Staff, Outpatient teams and Diagnostic and Therapy Departments across all specialties within the division to ensure patients are actively managed through patient pathways.
The role will involve monitoring patient's pathways from referral, through diagnostics, treatment planning and treatment, highlighting any potential delays in the pathway and ensuring accurate data collection to support the process and report to clinical offices any discrepancies
You will need to ensure that appropriate requests for investigations are monitored following the clinician's instructions. If diagnostic delays occur or appear imminent, you will liaise with the relevant service for action.
You will liaise with members of individual specialties management teams and the Trust to ensure coordination of all elements of patient pathways. This may include highlighting patient target dates etc. to ensure that investigations are carried out and results received in a timely manner.
You will need to ensure all information relating to the patient's pathway clearly identifies all relevant target dates to aid other users of the relevant systems, such as Cerner, LUNA etc. in allocating resources appropriately.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience as a physiotherapy assistant or in exercise delivery to support and weekly exercise classes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and the confidence to motivate and encourage patients.
You will work under the guidance of experienced senior staff within the Physiotherapy Department and will receive regular supervision and development opportunities.

Main duties of the job
Clinical Duties
- Deliver and support group exercise classes for prehabilitation cohorts across community gym sites.
- Complete one-to-one assessments with patients at the start and end of their programme, including basic functional measures and exercise readiness screening.
- Supervise patients throughout exercise sessions, ensuring safe and effective technique and adapting exercises where required.
- Monitor patient wellbeing, identify any concerns, and escalate appropriately to senior staff.
Non-Clinical Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of equipment and exercise areas in line with infection control procedures.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including session notes, discharge summaries, and onward referrals.
- Support data collection for service audits, outcomes monitoring, and programme evaluation.
- Complete administrative tasks such as patient bookings, data entry, maintaining attendance records and communicating with patients.

Job summary
Kingfisher Ward, St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, Surrey is recruiting for Senior HCSW. This is a busy acute surgical ward with 31 beds and you would be caring for a variety of different patients providing pre and post operative care . As well as caring for patients requiring close monitoring and specialised clinical care. The environment is suited to someone that enjoys challenges, is able to prioritise their work and has a strong interest in acute and complex care.
Applicants must able to work a varied shift pattern including long days, nights and weekends
- Candidates applying for this post must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria: Recent, continuous experience as a HCSW employed directly within an acute setting in the NHS for at least six months
- Having successfully achieved the Care Certificate within an NHS setting.

Main duties of the job
Our Healthcare Support Workers are at the heart of providing direct patient centred care, supporting the Registered Nurses and Nursing Associates as well as the wider Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
The role is varied, equally challenging and rewarding, where you will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the experience of our patients. The role includes:
- Providing direct patient care including meeting hygiene, continence, nutrition, pressure area care and mobility needs
- Taking and recording patients' vital signs, identifying and escalating changes to a patient's condition
- Providing one to one observation for patients who present a high risk of harm and vulnerable patients
- Undertaking training and competencies related to the role such as undertaking ECGs, venepuncture and cannulation, and other competencies related to the specific department
- Escorting patients to different departments such as x-ray and theatres
- Keeping the department and equipment clean, tidy, and restocking supplies
- Training and supporting new and junior team members
- Supporting the registered nursing team in providing high quality pre and post operative care

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the Audiology Clinical Office at Ashford Hospital.
A full-time (37.5 hrs) role of the Clinical Office Administrator is required to provide clerical support within the main clinical office. It requires a high level of organisational skills and someone who is good at communicating with a wide range of health care professionals, as well as patients and their relatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for many roles including organising timetables, dealing with clinic capacity and the outpatient waiting lists for both new and follow up patients.
Computer skills are essential, and training will be given on hospital administration systems.

This 37.5 hour full-time role of Clinical Office Administrator is required to provide administrative support within the main clinical office. ASPH Imaging department has all new state of the art digital imaging equipment with an effective equipment replacement programme. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who is competent in all general x-ray with a passion for expanding their skills. We actively encourage CPD and have a full 7 day shifts system with currently a shift allowance.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is expected
- To perform and maintain high standards of radiographic imaging as determined by the work rota
- To participate in the shift system and weekend duties. Will be expected to participate in the interventional on call rota when suitably trained.
- To be involved with service delivery and service improvement for the benefit of the patient
- To maintain high clinical standards, particularly regarding patient care, clinical risk and Health and Safety

Business, Homecare and Service Coordination
Support the operation delivery and ongoing development of homecare services, ensuring effective coordination of processes and continuity of service.
Manage invoicing and homecare administrative processes, ensuring workloads are prioritised appropriately and queries are managed in a timely and effective manner.
Provide oversight of the Invoicing/Homecare team in relation to day-to-day operation issues, service queries and workload coordination.
Provide cover for distribution activity where required, maintaining effective working relationships with Procurement, Invoicing, Dispensary and other key teams to support safe and effective service delivery.
Act as a key link between operational pharmacy services and the Business Team, supporting reporting requirements, service monitoring and financial governance processes.
Support the preparation, validation and submission of reports relating to tariff excluded and other high-cost medicines to commissioners, in accordance with local and national requirements.
Act as senior signatory for signing off homecare schemes with homecare providers following clinical approval.
Assist in responding to commissioner queries and challenges relating to reimbursement and reporting, ensuring information provided is accurate and timely.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective processes linking homecare, invoicing, distribution, procurement and business functions to support safe and efficient service delivery.

Demonstrate highly developed communication skills to convey complex pharmacy operational information whilst deputising for the senior pharmacy operations manager, clearly and professionally to multidisciplinary teams, senior managers, clinicians, and external stakeholders, adapting the communication style to suit the audience and ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
Lead and facilitate regular operational meetings, departmental briefings, and service improvement discussions, ensuring clear dissemination of information, encouraging staff engagement, and promoting collaborative decision-making across pharmacy services.
Manage difficult and sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy, including handling complaints, resolving service issues, addressing staff performance concerns, and negotiating solutions while maintaining positive working relationships.
Produce and present high-quality reports, business cases, standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and performance data, translating complex operational and financial information into clear, evidence-based recommendations for senior management.
Develop effective working relationships across clinical, operational, procurement, finance, and digital teams to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred pharmacy services, acting as a key communication link between frontline staff and senior leadership.
Provide leadership, coaching, and constructive feedback to pharmacy staff, fostering an open culture of communication, continuous learning, and quality improvement while supporting organisational change and service transformation initiatives.
