As a Senior Children's Occupational Therapist, you'll make that possible by working in partnership with children, parents, and carers to remove barriers and create safe, supportive spaces.
You'll listen, assess and act - providing tailored advice, specialist equipment, and home adaptations that make a real difference. Whether it's enabling a child to access essential facilities at home or helping parents feel confident in providing safe care, your work will transform everyday challenges into opportunities for independence and choice.
Main duties of the job
This is a role where your expertise really counts. You'll manage complex cases, balancing risk and safeguarding while keeping the child's needs and aspirations at the centre. You'll collaborate with a wide network of professionals and partners to deliver solutions that work for families. And as a senior member of the team, you'll share your knowledge, supporting and mentoring colleagues and students so they can develop too.
Our Children's Occupational Therapy service is built on partnership. We work alongside families and the multidisciplinary team around the child to create safe, supportive environments where children can flourish. You'll join a well-established, passionate team working alongside the Children's Crisis Service and Outreach teams.

- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered

Main duties of the job
Your main duties in the role of Specialist Speech and Language Therapist will include:

We are looking for a highly skilled, dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated Hand Therapist to join and help lead our wonderful MSK Hand Therapy Team. Experience of working within a Hand Therapy Service is essential, preferably within the NHS and with experience of managing patients from Acute Elective, Acute Trauma, Plastics and Rheumatology.
We have an active In-Service training programme and excellent links with our Consultant Surgical colleagues who also provide training for the team.

Job summary
Extended Hope is a support service for young people in mental health crisis in Surrey. It is based in a small children's home in Redhill but covers the entire County. This home provides a short-break service for up to two children who experience social, emotional and mental health difficulties. It is operated by Surrey County Council and the local NHS trust. Other interventions provided include after hours contact by arrangement for young people and families and some in-reach to acute hospitals when there are admissions for mental health concerns.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include the assessment of, and support for, children in mental health crisis and assisting local care networks to effectively plan and execute intervention plans. Other focus areas are concentrated on being an impactful member of the team (along with Residential Support Workers) providing direct care for young people who are staying in the house during respite breaks.

Surrey Downs Health & Care
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated Hand Therapist to join our wonderful MSK Hand Therapy Team. Experience of working within a Hand Therapy Service is essential, preferably within the NHS and with experience of managing patients from Acute Elective, Acute Trauma, Plastics and Rheumatology.
We have an active In-Service training programme and excellent links with our Consultant Surgical colleagues who also provide training for the team.
The caseload is varied with the majority being acute trauma or post-elective surgery but also includes community referrals from local GPs and FCPs.
The Hand Therapy unit is very busy but the team are very cohesive and supportive of one and other. The Hand Therapy Service is also part of the wider Surrey Downs Health & Care MSK Service.
Main duties of the job
- To provide specialist hand assessments and treatment for clients who have had trauma/surgery to their upper limb and/or have chronic conditions. Provide and/or fabricate static and dynamic splints for individual patients, in order to prevent impairment and/or improve function, independence and quality of life.
- Applying specialist knowledge and skills across the total range of impairments, procedures and practices gained through practical experience, underpinned by theoretical knowledge.
- To assess and implement specialist treatment programmes as an autonomous practitioner, maintaining associated clinical records.
- To work unsupervised reporting back and receiving guidance and teaching from the senior hand therapist / team leader on a regular basis.
- To participate in the day-to-day management of the specialist service provision undertaking tasks as delegated by the Team Leader, supporting less experienced therapists, and non-registered staff members on a daily basis.
- To provide formal supervision to nominated staff members and students.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and forward-thinking Band 7 Team Lead Podiatrist to become part of our progressive and supportive community-based service in Surrey.
The successful candidate will work across a variety of settings, including community clinics and domiciliary visits, managing a diverse caseload and providing treatment for a wide range of podiatric conditions. This role offers flexibility to develop a specialist interest, whether in MSK, Wound care, Diabetes, Nail surgery, or General podiatry.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role includes leadership duties such as teaching, mentoring and supervising both students and qualified podiatrists, as well as undertaking line management responsibilities. We are seeking a candidate who is reliable, motivated and committed to ongoing professional development, with strong organisational and communication skills, excellent time management and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Applicants must have experience managing high-risk patients and a proven background in community podiatry services. Experience in nail surgery is desirable.
Main duties of the job
- To lead and professionally support a team of podiatrists within Surrey Downs Health and Care.
- To lead in the evaluation, planning and implementation of service redesign and related policies and procedures, in liaison with podiatry clinical Lead and operational manager.
- To be integrally involved in the supporting both clinical lead and operational management of the podiatry service, embracing evidence-based medicine and developments in podiatric practice.
- To lead podiatry team based continuous professional development (CPD) activities, participate in podiatry service wide CPD activities, and participate in the development of the podiatry service and co-owners as a team of managers.

I-access is seen as a forward thinking and innovative service. i-access is now jointly delivered by Surrey County Council and Surrey and Borders under a cooperation agreement. This is an ongoing agreement, which enables i-access to continue to deliver a quality service to Surrey residents without the disruption of an impending procurement process
We are offering two Band 6 opportunity as a Substance Misuse Specialist or Nurse working flexibly across Surrey with the choice of either Guildford, Chertsey or Redhill as their base.
The post holder will need to be adaptive to working in different environments in order to meet homeless individuals needs. A car owner is essential for this role.
Main duties of the job
Suitable for someone who is a professional, dynamic and experienced clinician and has excellent complex risk management and crisis intervention skills in a fast-moving environment, adaptable and can meet the needs of Service User's establishing strong professional supportive relationships.
To work and act appropriately on own initiative within a multi-disciplinary team and has the skills to utilise knowledge, skills and experience to deliver a high standard of evidence based clinical interventions.
You will have knowledge, skills and experience in Mental Health and Substance Misuse with an excellent understanding of the recovery agenda.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our Dynamic Diabetes team within Surrey Downs Health and Care, who are continuing to develop and deliver advances in diabetes care and provide several specialist services. Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist looking to develop your expertise in neurorehabilitation?
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027.
This role is ideal for an existing Band 6, or an experienced Band 5 ready for career progression. While two years' post-registration experience is desirable, we welcome applicants with relevant transferable skills.
You will join a well-established multidisciplinary team delivering stroke-supported discharge and neurorehabilitation pathways across inpatient and community settings. The role includes managing neurological and non-neurological caseloads, including dysphagia, with access to videofluoroscopy to support clinical decision-making.
We offer strong clinical and managerial support, with a clear commitment to evidence-based practice, CPD, regular supervision, and career development.
The postholder will primarily be based at Dorking Community Hospital, with flexibility to support outpatient clinics, home visits, and care homes across Surrey Downs as required.
A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.
Main duties of the job
- Working autonomously as a Specialist SLT within the community MDT, delivering a specialist standard of assessment, clinical diagnosis, treatment and management of communication and swallowing impairments in adults.
- Providing differential diagnosis of communication/swallowing impairments, identifying patient-centred SMART goals and offering appropriate therapy programmes.
- With support from senior members of the team, taking a lead role in the delivery of SLT services in Stroke Supported Discharge.
- Continuing to develop skills in communication and dysphagia management; staying up to date with the current evidence base; providing specialist training to other professionals; and assisting with the development of therapists/ assistants/ students.
- Supporting the leadership of the CNRT in research, development and evaluation of services/ policies.

We are recruiting band 5 nurses to join our community nursing teams in East Surrey, based in Redhill, Oxted and Caterham. You will provide nursing care for a wide range of conditions to people in their own home and residential settings, and you will be supported by the Clinical Lead, your line manager and team to fulfil your role.
The District Nursing teams provide a service between 8am and 6pm, which incorporates the core day shift and a late shift. We have full or part time hours available.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised care for patients under the direction of a Clinical Team Lead and District Nurse.
You will work in close collaboration with health and social care professionals within the Neighbourhood to prevent your patients being admitted to hospital.
You will provide advice and support to junior staff and students in the delivery of effective, high quality care.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you are able to drive, have a car suitable for business purposes and a valid driving license.

UGI Abdominal Wall & Hernia Fellow
Applications are invited for the post of UGI Abdominal Wall & Hernia Fellow in General Surgery. This post will be based at Epsom and St Helier Hospital and is designed to support the elective and emergency General Surgery Service. The post provides an opportunity for advanced training in the management of complex abdominal wall reconstruction and elective laparoscopic hernia surgery.
This is a 12 month post specifically for surgeons from the UK or internationally who have recently completed or are nearing the completion of their higher surgical training (post-CCT or equivalent)and wish to expand their surgical experience.
Main duties of the job
The Post-CCT Fellow will support the consultant-led Abdominal Wall Unit in delivering advanced elective hernia and abdominal wall reconstruction services, including outpatient clinics, theatre lists, MDT participation, and peri-operative patient management across both sites. The role also includes participation in the emergency general surgery on-call rota at St Helier Hospital, involving weekend, evening, and overnight duties within a busy CEPOD environment.

We operate two busy general hospitals, Epsom Hospital and St Helier Hospital, and run services from other locations, including Sutton Hospital. St Helier Hospital is home to the South West Thames Renal and Transplantation Unit and Queen Mary's Hospital for Children, while Epsom Hospital is home to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC). Both Epsom and St Helier hospitals have Accident and Emergency departments (A&E) and Maternity services (Obstetrics).

Surrey Downs Health and Care brings together our staff, CSH and the GP groups in Surrey Downs, and Surrey County Council in a partnership to improve care for local people.
