The Audiologist will undertake all routine audiological and rehabilitation procedures, including direct referrals for hearing aids and open access from GPs. Ensure provision of a comprehensive service to patients referred to the department from GPs and consultants including the provision of the full range of NHS aids including digital aids. Undertake ENT outpatient clinics at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals supporting the Consultant ENT surgeons. Assist with the clinical supervision of students. Keep updated with professional knowledge and new technology.

Main duties of the job

Take a medical case history to exclude pathologies that require a medical opinion, and informs which audiometric tests are appropriate. Safely and accurately undertake appropriate test regimes for school age children and adults with hearing disorders including direct referrals from GPs. Analyse and interpret test results. We are looking to Recruit a 6 month fixed term Band 4 RTT/Patient Pathway Validator at The Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital

Rtt Validators are responsible for validating patient pathways across the entire Trust PTL to ensure accurate and robust information to support performance reporting, high data quality and to assist in managing patients' through their RTT pathway.

The Trust is undergoing a major change in the collection of 18 weeks information through a new Data Information System providing efficient Patient Tracking List (PTL), a new Patient Administration System (PAS) upgrade and associated changes in processes.

This post will involve working in outpatient clinics providing both rapid access, admission avoidance clinics for the frail population of Hillingdon and general elderly medicine clinics.

The current set up of this post is for 2 full days of clinics and SPA worked flexibly so will suit someone looking for less than full time or flexible working. Our Rapid Access Clinics for the Elderly (RACE) run up to 5 times a week providing rapid assessments of community dwelling frail patients referred by their GP and also follow up for patients seen by our service on the wards or in our Acute Frailty Unit supporting ED.

General clinics serve a wide range of presentations in over 65's where a holistic approach to care is required. We have recently expanded our acute frailty provision and provide 7 day a week frailty SDEC services. We are seeking an experienced receptionist to join our friendly and professional Outpatient service. Working across both sites, Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon

Outpatient service is a busy and friendly place to work; it is across seven areas and applicants will rotate between all outpatient areas as required

Our local patient surveys and friends and family test praise our reception staff as being caring, professional and welcoming.

An exciting opportunity to provide nursing leadership for the ENT nursing team at Hillingdon Hospital.

Working as an autonomous practitioner, the postholder will set up up nurse led clinics within ENT and deliver high quality nursing care.

The role will be responsible for developing and establishing triage for suspected Head and Neck cancers.
