Consideration will be given to newly-qualified nurses, as we offer a comprehensive preceptorship programme and an opportunity to undertake a rotation on the children's inpatient ward and neonatal unit, if desired.

We have an exciting career development opportunity for a Paediatric Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to help lead and manage our growing designated paediatric emergency service. We are a self-contained unit situated within our main A&E Department. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Trust as an Ultrasound Modality Lead Sonographer. We are recruiting for a Band 8A Lead sonographer post, based across both our Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospital sites. Post holders will be responsible for leading the Ultrasound department and managing its day-to-day operations in the absence of senior management.

The successful candidates will have extensive experience across a wide range of ultrasound modalities, including obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular, and non-obstetric/general medical ultrasound. You will have a proven track record of teaching and mentoring students and staff. The role includes maintaining a clinical workload, performing ultrasound lists at an advanced practitioner level, act as practice educator to trainee and newly qualified sonographers and making clinical judgements based on the assessment and interpretation of ultrasound findings, including complex cases.

Job summary

The Hepatology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will play an integral role in the development of a quality driven service to all patients at/or admitted to THHFT with Liver disease. The CNS has a leadership role within the Trust and is responsible for the development of innovative nursing practice within Hepatology. The post holder is expected to facilitate the development of other nurses to benefit patient care and to be an educational resource to all members of the Trust wide multi-disciplinary MDT regarding practice provision of care. We are seeking a band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly, integrated inpatient therapy department on our dementia friendly Older Adults Rehabilitation Unit. There is a strong, collaborative, MDT approach on the ward, which is Consultant led and supported by nurses, AHPs and the wider team including discharge support workers and charities.

The therapy department is the third largest staff group within the Trust and is widely respected. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Senior Pharmacist Team Leader for the Care of the Elderly and Rehabilitation services.

The Senior Pharmacist Team Leader is a key clinical role within the Trust's pharmacy service, working closely with the Principal Pharmacist to manage pharmacy provisions. The post holder will deliver high-quality, patient-focused clinical pharmacy services for older adults across inpatient care and lead the medicines optimisation agenda to medical elderly care, frailty and rehabilitation departments.

Job summary

An Exciting opportunity has arisen within the Frailty Team at Hillingdon Hospital for an experienced PT to join the team.

We are seeking to expand the frailty team in line with the planned redevelopment of the main hospital site.

The Frailty Team covers the Frailty Assessment Unit, the short stay unit, Acute Medical Unit and rapid access clinics with the aim to reduce hospital admissions and length of stay. Due to an increased number of frailty patients, we have expanded and now provide an outreach therapy service for frail patients on the Acute Medical Unit.

Our blended staff work as part of an innovative interdisciplinary team embedded in service improvement and dedicated to developing skills including advanced practice.

We are looking for clinicians who have passion for frailty and the provision of therapy within acute medicine and same day emergency care.

Successful applicants will have prior experience in either emergency care or acute medicine with a frailty focus.They will also show enthusiasm in working within a broad range of clinical conditions, demonstrate excellent communication skills, flexibility and enjoy both teaching and learning.

The service is commencing a 7 day service, and the post holder will include weekend working.

o To provide highly specialised Therapy assessment and treatment for patients within Frailty, predominantly within short-stay patient areas including Frailty Assessment Unit, Acute Medical Unit, Emergency Department, Clinical Decisions Unit, RACE clinic and Acute Medical Unit on a rostered basis.
