Job summary
We are looking to expand our Bank Nursing Team and are seeking an experienced, motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive practice on a flexible, as-needed basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety and working within a well-organised primary care setting. Located in Kendal offering excellent access to the Lake District National Park ideal for those seeking outdoor lifestyle balance alongside clinical work.
Main duties of the job
Flexible bank sessions to support service demand, including holiday and sickness cover and seasonal vaccinations. You will be expected to work independently and confidently across a range of core practice nursing duties.
Core Skills Required: Applicants must be experienced and competent in:
- Childhood Immunisations
- Travel health and immunisations
- Routine injections (e.g. B12, depot)
- Cervical smears
- Wound care and dressings
- Seasonal flu/ Covid vaccinations
- Phlebotomy
Rate £23.53 per hour inclusive of holiday allowance, depending on experience and responsibilities.
