Job summary
Responsible for providing general housekeeping services to clinical and non-clinical areas of the Hospice ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Main duties of the job
Maintain good communication across all departments.
Report any equipment or fittings that require maintenance in line with Hospice procedures
Judgements involving straightforward job related situations
Prioritise cleaning tasks of the IPU in order to deliver a clean working environment,
Clean all areas as detailed in the cleaning schedule and instruction from the Guest Services Manager or Nurse in charge.
Ensure the patient bedrooms / communal rooms are cleaned daily and kept clean and tidy to ensure a safe environment.
Ensure that following discharge, all rooms are deep cleaned in line with Infection Control policies.
To support with the laundry, ensuring linen levels are maintained, ensuring adequate supply is available, tidy and ready for use.
Ability to plan ahead to ensure efficient running of the IPU in terms of meeting cleaning standards.
Carry out quality spot checks through the working day and rectify any issues found.
Normal cleaning duties that will be obtained through practice and practical training.
Carry out laundry procedures as and when instructed.
Ensure that personal privacy, dignity and confidentiality relating to all aspects of patient care is met.
Be aware of the Health and Safety policies and the requirements of COSHH
Adhere to Infection Control protocols in relation to cleaning and decontamination processes and ensure regular link to infection control group to ensure guidelines are followed.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated static B6 Physiotherapist to join our supportive, dynamic Crisis Response Team in Trafford.
The Crisis Team is part of South Manchester Community Response Service which also includes Discharge to Assess and Community IV team. This is an exciting time to be part of our integrated multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team providing specialist rapid assessment and interventions to our local population. Our progressive working environment manages crisis on a daily basis, providing a 7-day, extended hours, urgent and timely response to referrals from community and acute colleagues, and directly from the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS). As a member of the Crisis Response Team you will work closely with highly trained advanced clinical practitioners as well as the wider MDT, supporting service users to be treated in the community.
Rapid assessment and community intervention from Crisis Response helps to support adults for up to 48 hours with health or social care needs at home, and preventing unnecessary A&E attendances. Your clinical skillset will contribute to people being able to remain safely and supported in their own homes.

Job summary
We are looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to deliver communication support to children across community clinics in the Southend/Castlepoint & Rochford area.
This fulltime time, permanent role would be applicable to an established Band 5 SLT looking to progress into a Band 6 community clinic role. Alternatively the role would be applicable to an established Band 6 SLT who is interested working within the EPUT Children's SLT service delivery.
This role would require the successful candidate to have been signed off their RCSLT NQP competencies for at least 2 years.
The service adopted a Link SLT model with local mainstream schools which algins to the Balanced System transformation across the whole of Essex, Thurrock and Southend in September 2024. This has been very successful and the successful post holder will have a small number of link schools alloctaed linked to the geographical area of their community clinic bases
Main duties of the job
Must have completed and signed off Royal College of Speech & Language Therapist newly qualified therapist competencies for at least 2 years
To manage and deliver a specialist service to children (0 - 18) with speech, language and communication difficulties across community clinic bases
To provide supervision for more junior staff (band 5 or SLT assistants) as requested by the head of service
To develop skills to deliver face to face/video conference triage interventions as part of the service rota for triage appointments
Must have experience of working with children with speech/language delay/disorder and managing an independent caseload at a band 5 level for at least 24 months

Job summary
We are currently recruiting for experienced registered Theatre Practitioners/Theatre Nurses and ODPs within our Theatre team. We would love to tell you about our team and our culture. Our area is committed to providing a high standard of patient care from 11 specialist theatres, 6 day unit theatres as well as initiating acute and chronic pain services. Our surgical specialties include: Maxillofacial, ENT, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular, Upper GI, Colorectal, Breast and plastics, Acutes including Trauma.
You do not need any additional qualifications other than an active NMC/HCPC pin to be eligible for this post, but hold passion, enthusiasm and commitment to provide patient centered care. Theatre experience would be preferrable. A positive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research evidence. A willingness to supervise and teach junior staff and colleagues and share learning through clinical supervision. The ability to work as an integral member of the team.

Main duties of the job
- Demonstrate and develop clinical assessment skills, and the ability to prioritise the care for patients undergoing a Surgical / Anaesthetic procedure.
- Actively supports patients and their families, communicating clinical information using a variety of methods, to ensure effective understanding.
- Contribute to the continuing development of patient care within the operating theatres, e.g. through sharing knowledge and expertise as required.
- Prepare and organise clinical area to receive patients for elective and emergency.
- To safely identify, prepare, check and assemble equipment required for the relevant operating list.
- Responsible for adhering to the NMC / HCPC professional Code of Conduct.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Educator within our Theatres team. The role will require the post holder to work with all nursing staff and operating department practitioners, registered and non-registered, working across a wider area in the theatre and PACU environment; external partners and networks with a lead focus on clinical development of theatre nursing practice including key skills for both registered and unregistered staff.The post holder will be required to plan and organise the training equipment and book training dates and venues as appropriate in collaboration with colleagues within the wider teams.
Main duties of the job
- To develop and deliver core and additional clinical skills and training programmes across all Theatre and PACU Care Group Surgery settings, demonstrating a sound teaching approach utilising mixed media, simulation, and creating a positive learning environment that supports the training needs of the service and organisation.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to deliver effective teaching and can undertake assessment of knowledge and competence. The post holder will also be required to devise appropriate strategies to enable and ensure a positive and safe learning environment and experience.
- Collect, evaluate, and analyse data, and make judgements on the clinical implications of the evidence and writing relevant reports and presentations to initiate change and service improvement.
- To support investigations following an adverse incident, challenging appropriately when required, and input into the follow-up work, clinical supervision/mentoring or organisational change.
- To work across organisational and professional boundaries and develop multi professional clinically based teaching and assessment processes.
- Responsible and accountable for the key functions of clinical skills development, delivery and audit; designing and maintaining physical and virtual provision of clinical skills training; and supporting the wider clinical skills education agenda across the service and organisation.

We are seeking a highly motivated & experienced health or social care professional with adult secure/specialised women's pathway experience to join the Quality and Commissioning Team, at the GM Provider Collaborative (PC). The post holder will act as a key contributor to the PC's quality assurance arrangements, working closely with the Senior Case Manager and Head of Quality. The role also provides a link to a range of stakeholders across NHS organisations, independent sector providers and system partners. The successful candidate will require the ability to demonstrate effective communication skills, responsiveness, resilience, confidentiality & integrity. Based at Prestwich Hospital, offering a combination of office & remote working across the footprint & wider as required. Main duties of the job
- Aligned to the national Case Management function, provides expert women's secure and specialised pathway oversight and quality assurance. - Build a combination of clinical expertise and technical skills to develop strong service delivery, pathway advice and service improvements for secure/specialised services. - Specialised informed experience to ensure effective pathway oversight - Ensure patients receiving a high-quality service, free from stigma, discrimination and harm, escalating quality concerns and supporting remedial actions - Effectively fulfil 6-8 weekly host and placing commissioner oversight responsibilities - Robust oversight of patient flow - Supporting strategic leads in capacity and demand planning - Support mandated mental health targets including national LD/A programme - Deliver provision of competent, confident and responsive Case Management function against the national Standard Operating Procedure. The service offers a phased treatment pathway which aims to help the individual understand and plan their journey through treatment. The aim of the treatment and rehabilitation programme is to equip those in our care with the skills and confidence they need to navigate challenges that may come with returning to community or independent living.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to take a leading role in the delivery and development of the Royal Devon Wheelchair and Specialist Seating Service.
