This challenging post will offer you the opportunity to provide the Administrative Service across our busy Orthopaedic wards.
This role encompasses working within the Hospital setting whilst providing effective administration support within a multi-disciplinary team. You should be enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated and able to work independently and in pressurised situations.

You will work as part of the Orthopaedic Ward administration team covering the wards to ensure that all administration duties are performed to help support the clinical staff. We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant with knowledge and experience in the field paediatrics, to be part of our team supporting children and young people from 0-18 years.
Main duties of the job
Band 4 - Occupational Therapy Assistant - Full Time

Our team works with children with a range of conditions that impact on their ability to participate in activities of daily living.
We are based in West Ham Lane Health Centre and work in a variety of settings such as clinics, homes, nurseries, Children's Centres and education settings.
Within the Specialist Children and Young Peoples' Service (SCYPS), the OTs form an integral part of a multidisciplinary therapies team who work closely with Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Dietitians, Paediatricians and Specialist Nurses. Together our mission is to make positive differences to peoples' lives by delivering high quality services for the children and families of Newham.
We are a warm, welcoming and supportive team of OTs and OTAs bringing life experiences from across the world. You will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary neuro rehab team, in addition to the wider speech and language therapy team, acting as a resource to other medical, nursing, therapy, social services staff and voluntary agencies and as an interface link for SLT with acute providers.You will undertake teaching and research in relevant specialist areas for a wide range of other professionals, as appropriate.
Supporting self and service development through active participation in continuing professional development and participating in audit or research.

Main duties of the job
- Provide a specialist speech and language therapy clinical role within the neuro team.
- Co-develop and provide appropriate specialist speech and language therapy assessments and interventions.
- Facilitate group work and peer mentoring for people affected by a neurological condition, alongside the MDT.
- Carry out specialist physical examination of the orofacial process including the mechanism of eating, drinking and swallowing.
- Monitor all aspects of the interaction of significant others with clients.
- Make appropriate clinical decisions following assessment, using evidence-based practice and outcome measurement to provide the most effective treatment to clients and their families within clearly defined care plans.
- Use clinical judgement and specialist skills to evaluate deterioration in clients' health status and report same as appropriate to other health services (in particular, regarding dysphagia).

Haslington Surgery is a two Partner practice, located in a small village in Cheshire. We have two salaried GP's, four Nurses and one GPA. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service, for a Band 5 Autism Practitioner.We are looking for a motivated clinician with enthusiasm and passion to join our innovative and highly regarded Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service. Experience of working with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities and mental health is not essential, however you will have knowledge of these conditions and their needs.
You will be joining an experienced MDT within the Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service, consisting of highly skilled, motivated clinicians who are passionate about delivering the best service possible to adults seeking assessments of ASD as well as delivering follow up and consultancy to those already diagnosed. The team brings with it clinical expertise in neurodiversity including adult ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, dyspraxia and adult learning disability, as well as experience of community adult mental health, forensic and education services.
Main duties of the job
We will support the development of your ASD diagnostic assessment skills through access to robust internal & external training, continuing professional development, and clinical, managerial, and professional supervision. You will be trained in autism assessment tools including the ADOS-2. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time management skills and you will need to be flexible in your therapeutic approach to work alongside individuals with different needs. We also link with regular CPD events, including fortnightly CPD sessions, team Away Days, attendance at relevant courses, national professional forums and conferences.
We work closely with universities supporting student placements, we also offer work experience to those in higher education.
Currently, there is an expectation that assessments will be delivered both virtually and face to face. A combination of home-based and office-based working is available; however, staff are required to undertake assessments across both settings as part of the role and work flexibly to meet service demand.

Wensum Valley Medical Practice are looking for an experienced and proactive Practice Business Manger to join our established and forward-thinking GP practice in Norwich.
This is a key senior role within the practice, working closely with the Practice Manager and GP Partners and wider leadership team to ensure smooth and effective running of the practice.
The role will provide leadership and oversight across areas including finance, reimbursements and claims, contracts, business administration and governance. We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking Band 6 occupational therapist to work within the Specialist Palliative Care service based at City Hospice. Experience of working in the community is desirable but not essential as the successful candidate will receive a full supportive induction when they join the team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to the provision of specialist palliative care, supporting patient choice in maintaining dignified end of life care, to the people of Cardiff with malignant or non-malignant conditions who have a limited life expectancy. The post holder will be working autonomously and as part of a team. They will deliver therapeutic interventions in patients' homes, and/or when they attend City Hospice as an out-patient or attend our well-being services. They will provide advice, education and support to patients, their carers and other health care professionals. They will also promote advanced care planning, management of complex end of life symptoms and patient and carer expectations , whilst meeting the integrated care needs of the patient.
The post holder will also need to be passionate about delivering quality care to people receiving palliative or end of life care.

Main duties of the job

- To work with colleagues across the organisation to source stories and information and with colleagues across the communications mix including marketing, public affairs and internal communications - to deliver joined up and effective communications plans.

Job summary
The ability to converse in both English and Welsh is highly desirable for this role. The Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service is responsible for providing non-emergency and pre-planned transport, to and from hospitals and treatment centres for patients who have appointments at out-patient clinics, day surgery units, and day centres. The service acts as a vital link between communities and is an important and integral part of the overall package of health care provided by the Ambulance Service in Wales.
The successful applicants will have a can do attitude, demonstrate that they have worked as part of a team, possess excellent communication and active listening skills, ideally have experience in working in a customer focused environment.
We currently have permanent contracts for 37.5 hrs per week in our NET Centre site in Cwmbran. The successful candidates will be expected to work to cover any hours between 0800-1800 weekdays on a rota basis to match the service demands.
The ability to speak Welsh is highly desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The successful post holder will be required to work within a team dealing with all telephone enquiries from patients and hospitals for all issues associated with Non-emergency ambulance transport this includes, processing telephone calls from members of the public and hospital staff requesting non-urgent ambulance transport, working through an established criteria staff will assess the most appropriate method of transport for patients, and then accurately process this request accordingly utilising the Trusts databases. Duties also include checking systems to see if transport has been booked, inputting requests, identifying arrival times of transport on the day of journey, and providing support to the planning and day control teams within the NEPTS department.
The position involves inputting details speedily and accurately onto a computer system; therefore excellent keyboard skills are essential. The successful applicant should be competent when undertaking given tasks, have good interpersonal skills, be educated to a good educational standard and possess typing and I.T. skills.
A good knowledge of the geographical areas of all Wales would be advantageous and the ability to converse in the Welsh Language is essential for these posts.

An exciting, temp opportunity has arisen for a part time Band 4 Support Time and Recovery Worker to work in partnership in Primary Care as part of the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). The post sits within the Meir Primary Care Network MDT working alongside the Senior Mental Health Practitioner and GP surgery teams.
You will be responsible for providing mental health specialist care to patients within the PCN, whilst working as part of the network's multidisciplinary team.
Meir Primary Care Network brings together six GP practices that work closely to support people across our community. We focus on practical, joined-up care and good access to the right help at the right time. Our teams include clinicians and a wide range of additional roles who work across practices every day. People know each other, support each other, and share a commitment to making care easier for patients.
As a Support Time Recovery Worker within Meir PCN, you will be part of a small, approachable team that values steady, patient-focused work. You will help people build confidence, stay connected with local services, and make progress with their personal goals. You will have regular contact with GPs, care co-ordinators, social prescribers and your ARRS mental health colleagues who are ready to guide and support you.

Main duties of the job
You will engage with patients to provide support and time limited interventions to meet their health and social needs either through individual or group work with an emphasis on empowerment and recovery. Working closely with the Mental Health Practitioners to devise plans of care to support recovery and advocate improved choice and access to evidence based mental health and social care support - using a strengths and asset approach focusing on harnessing and improving patients own network to improve resilience.
Experience of working in the community in a mental health setting (either in CYP, Adults, and Older persons) would be beneficial. Primary care experience is not essential; however, a good understanding of how Primary Care works would be beneficial.
Most importantly, the right candidate will have a strong desire to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients and have the motivation and flexibility to help develop the services as the role evolves to meet the needs of the population.
The role will be embedded within the PCN however it will be outward facing and will link seamlessly with North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust where you will be supported with supervision, training opportunities etc.

Are you a Qualified Mental Health Professional looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a team that will help you to develop and achieve your goals? Oldham Liaison mental health is recruiting for a Senior Frequent Attenders and Alcohol Liaison Practitioner.
The mental health liaison service offers a comprehensive range of mental health specialities within one multi-disciplinary team so that all patients with a suspected or actual mental health problem within the general hospital can be assessed, treated, signposted, or referred appropriately regardless of age, presenting complaint, time of presentation or severity of condition.
The service puts an emphasis on diversion and discharge from A and E and the facilitation of early but effective discharge from the acute hospital site.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Practitioner within the Frequent Attenders and Alcohol Liaison aspect of the team, you will work closely with the clinical lead and acute care trust to identify frequent attenders and offer case management to support them in reducing hospital attendances through an MDT approach, collaborative care planning and identification of appropriate alternative resources.
You will provide a comprehensive assessment and develop wholistic and collaborative care plans with Service users and other agencies and, where necessary signpost to other services within the community.
Referrals will come via the Frequent Attenders database for the locality and the A&E Mental Health Liaison Team. For those Service Users that are already known to Mental health services you will work collaboratively with the Care Coordinator to develop a robust plan of care that Multi agencies are involved with to support the person and prevent crisis. If they are unknown you will case manage for a short period of time to enable referrals to the relevant organisation/ agency.
Mental Health Liaison is delivered from a Specialist Mental Health Trust with teams located within the Acute Hospital setting.

The successful applicants will form part of the out of hours GI bleeding service, contribute to the provision of an inpatient, outpatient GI service and Endoscopy sessions.

We are excited to recruit an enthusiastic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our 16-bed Higher Dependency Rehabilitation Unit (HDRU) in Doncaster, providing specialist mental health rehabilitation for adults from Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire.
The HDRU supports adults with complex mental health needs who require intensive rehabilitation within a structured, therapeutic environment. Patients typically remain on the unit for up to 12 months, working with the multidisciplinary team to develop the skills and confidence needed to progress to less restrictive settings and successful community living.
Occupational Therapy plays a central role in the rehabilitation pathway, delivering recovery-focused, person-centred interventions through meaningful occupation. Group-based interventions are a key part of the role, and you will be expected to plan and deliver a varied programme of occupation-focused groups alongside individual interventions.
You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team including Nursing, Psychology, Psychiatry and AHP colleagues, embracing our "One Team" approach to delivering high-quality care.

Main duties of the job
- Undertake comprehensive Occupational Therapy Assessments using the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and other evidence-based assessment tools.
- Develop, implement and evaluate person-centred intervention plans that promote recovery, independence and meaningful occupational engagement.
- Plan, deliver and evaluate a structured programme of occupation-based group interventions, using meaningful activities to promote recovery, skill development, social participation and independence.
- Support patients to establish healthy routines, develop life skills and build confidence in preparation for discharge to less restrictive environments.
- To assist in the supervision of support staff and students and contribute to the development of a range of inpatient based therapeutic activities in partnership with service users, carers and staff.
- To develop links with statutory and voluntary sector community resources and ensure that on-going occupational needs are addressed as part of a safe effective discharge and the occupational therapy pathway process.
- The service is new and will be in Doncaster, High Dependency Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit staff may also be required to work in a variety of other settings dependent on patient needs, e.g. patients' own homes, community settings

What we require from you:
City & Guilds 706 1&2, or equivalent (achieved or working towards)
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Head chef or Head Cook experience with similar environment /surrounding.
Supervisory or Line Management experience
A caring nature to give everyone a personal approach.
Proven ability to lead by example, motivate a team and delegate effectively.
Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice.
Warm, approachable, and engaging persona
Respect everyone, treating others as you would expect to be treated.
Resilient and adaptable to differing needs of colleagues and residents.
