We have an exciting new position within the existing Discharge Coordinator Team at RDUH North, working within the acute site. The successful post holders will have minimum of 2 years experience working as a discharge coordinator or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the discharge process.

The successful post holders will be working alongside the current Discharge Coordinators and be responsible for the training and education of the new Discharge Coordinators as they start within each division. The post holders will deputise for the Discharge Liaison Officer when on leave or absent and support the work in the clinical flow team.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8-4 with some weekends

Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a fulltime Registered Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Anaesthetic Nurse to join the Heavitree Day Case Team. The post holder will work closely with the Day Surgery team to deliver a highquality, safe service for patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes supporting the perioperative patient pathway and contributing to difficult airway management, with full training and support provided.
The post holder will be responsible and accountable for delivering care to adult and paediatric surgical patients without direct supervision. They must adhere to Trust policies and procedures and work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team within the Day Surgery Unit. In addition, they will be expected to participate in the training and development of students and other team members.

The Heavitree Day Case Unit provides a wide range of day case surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including Upper GI, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Urology, ENT (Adults and Paediatrics), Maxillofacial surgery and pain procedures, including permanent spinal cord implant surgery. The Unit currently operates from 07:30 to 19:00, with plans to extend opening hours to 20:00 to support theatre lists across specialties under general, regional and local anaesthesia.
The essential qualifications needed are C&G 752 ODA or NVQ Level 3 ODP or Registered General Nurse, Diploma/Degree Level or Equivalent.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. 08:00-18:00 and plans are underway to close the unit at 20.00 hours

Main duties of the job
This is a replacement post within a well-established and supportive vascular team.
The successful applicant will:
- Deliver a comprehensive vascular surgical service, including elective and emergency care, to patients across the Trust and referring primary care services
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and timely patient care
- Undertake regular outpatient clinics across Worcestershire Royal Hospital and Alexandra Hospital, Redditch
- Participate in a weekly arterial operating list at WRH, with opportunities for dual consultant operating and mentoring where appropriate
- Contribute to a fortnightly day-case list (half-day), primarily for venous or minor arterial procedures

Job summary
Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are looking for newly qualified, quality focused and patient centred Operating Department Practitioners (awaiting pin registration), to join our Elective theatre team in main theatres, to support with our vision of high quality surgical care and interventions.
You will be expected to work alongside and communicate with all members of the multidisciplinary team and actively contribute to assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care. You will work as a member of our theatre teams on circulating scrub and/or anaesthetic duties and opportunities will be provided to gain experience and further training in both these areas as your registration supports.
You will be committed to providing a high standard of patient care, demonstrating motivation, enthusiasm and consideration of financial importance.
The successful applicants will be covering elective activity, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00, and will also be expected to contribute to on-call commitments.
Main duties of the job
As a Theatre Practitioner you will work alongside the Anaesthetist or Surgeon, to provide first class, patient centred anaesthetic or surgical care. You will at all times work in accordance with the 'Codes of Professional Conduct' (HCPC) and ensure at all times your practices reach the required professional standard.
Provide the correct surgical instruments and materials to the surgeon and be responsible for all surgical instruments, equipment and swabs during the operation.
Act as a link between the surgical team and other parts of the theatre and hospital anticipating the requirements of the surgical team and responding effectively to ensure that all required instrumentation and equipment are available at the appropriate time.
As a newly registered practitioner you will be a responsible and compassionate patient advocate and act in their best interest at all times.

The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton operate dialysis services across three sites delivering both acute and chronic haemodialysis. As we continue to expand our dialysis provision, we are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity for new team members to join us at our SJCH Dialysis Unit.
Previous experience in renal dialysis is not required, as comprehensive support is provided for all staff. Our Practice Development Facilitator ensures that every new starter receives guidance and mentoring throughout their induction. In addition, a carefully designed competency package is available to help new team members develop the skills for the role. Training will take place on the SJCH site.
To succeed in this position, you must demonstrate adaptability in the working environment and be willing to further your clinical skills. The Renal Dialysis Units are operational from Monday to Saturday, offering dialysis sessions to patients in the morning, afternoon and evening. Flexibility is essential, as you will be expected to cover shifts across these hours, working three days per week. Opportunities for cross-site working are also supported, providing further avenues for professional development.

Main duties of the job
As a senior registered nurse you will provide high quality primary care services and a range of specialist interventions for offenders. At HMP Standford Hill, we deliver a nurse-led integrated primary care service and operate a specialist practice-based clinical model of care.
You will be delivering high quality clinical care within the Integrated Healthcare Service for the prison, demonstrating robust expert clinical skills and providing evidence-based nursing practice to those in prison.
Our senior registered nurses carry out a range of duties including; reception screening, emergency response, long term conditions management, planned care (e.g. running clinics), enhanced assessment and diagnostic intervention services and health promotion activities.
As a senior member of our team, you will hold a complex caseload and support more junior colleagues with any help or advice they may require. The Performance & Business Intelligence Department supports the Clinical Divisions within the Trust as well as supporting the SLA function by preparing monitoring reports and planning data. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 6 Physiotherapy rotation based at Queen's Hospital Burton, Sir Robert Peel and Samuel Johnson Community Hospitals.
The post holder will participate in the senior rotational scheme which involves working in a range of clinical settings as determined by the needs of the physiotherapy service. This is therefore a great opportunity to advance on learnt Band 5 skills whilst developing leadership exposure and knowledge.

You will be required to work as part of the Respiratory on-call service following an induction programme. The team work across 7 days and evenings through a rota system.
Main duties of the job
Rotational opportunities will include Emergency Medicine (including Frailty), Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Stroke, Orthopaedics, Discharge Assessment Unit and Rehabilitation Wards
- To support the Team Leaders in day-to-day management of the team
- To assess and treat own patient caseload, and maintain associated records.
- To perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological condition, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver and individualised treatment programme.
- To hold responsibility for own caseload, working without direct supervision. Supervision takes the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case conferences. Almond Road Surgery is seeking a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to join our friendly team.

Main duties of the job

This will consist of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), testing and calibration, fault finding, emergency response, defect correction and minor works.
You will be employed to work appropriate to your core skills around building and engineering plant and equipment maintenance. You will progressively be trained, where required, to acquire other skills with the intention of reaching levels of multi trade flexibility and competence. You will work closely with the Senior Technicians to improve planned maintenance.

Job summary
The advertised position is full time locum (10PA) post with initial 6 months fixed term contract subject to renewal depending on service needs. The appointee will join a well-established consultant team across the Northampton and Kettering combined Ears Nose and Throat (ENT) service. The appointee will be predominantly based at NGH. Main duties of the job
A formal job plan will be agreed between the appointees and their Clinical Lead/ Clinical Director, on behalf of the Medical Director, as soon as possible after the commencement date of the appointee. This will be signed by the Chief Executive and will be effective from the commencement date of the appointment.
The Job Plan will then be reviewed annually, following the Appraisal Meeting. The Job Plan will be a prospective agreement that sets out a consultant's duties, responsibilities and objectives for the coming year. It should cover all aspects of a consultant's professional practice including clinical work, teaching, research, education and managerial responsibilities. It should provide a clear schedule of commitments, both internal and external. In addition, it should include personal objectives, including details of their link to wider service objectives and details of the support required by the consultant to fulfil the job plan and the objectives.
The following provides an outline of the expected clinical activity and clinically related activity components of the job plan which occur at regular times in the week. The advertised position is full time locum (4PA) post with initial 6 months fixed term contract subject to renewal depending on service needs.
The appointee will join a well-established consultant team across the Northampton and Kettering combined Ears Nose and Throat (ENT) service. The appointee will be predominantly based at NGH. The post holder can have cross site sessions, if required, to meet service demands.
The Successful candidate will be offered 4 PA's for consideration in the first instance, and the possibility of an additional clinic/theatre as an additional DCC PA if agreeable. Direct Clinical Care/Admin 10 PAs on average per week.
Main duties of the job
A formal job plan will be agreed between the appointees and their Clinical Lead/ Clinical Director, on behalf of the Medical Director, as soon as possible after the commencement date of the appointee. This will be signed by the Chief Executive and will be effective from the commencement date of the appointment.
The Job Plan will then be reviewed annually, following the Appraisal Meeting. The Job Plan will be a prospective agreement that sets out a consultant's duties, responsibilities and objectives for the coming year. It should cover all aspects of a consultant's professional practice including clinical work, teaching, research, education and managerial responsibilities. It should provide a clear schedule of commitments, both internal and external. In addition, it should include personal objectives, including details of their link to wider service objectives and details of the support required by the consultant to fulfil the job plan and the objectives.
The following provides an outline of the expected clinical activity and clinically related activity components of the job plan which occur at regular times in the week. Agreement should be reached between the appointee and their Clinical Director with regard to the scheduling of all other activities, including the Supporting Professional Activities. Uponappointment the consultant will be given a specific "work programme" detailing the initial allocation of direct clinical care activities and supporting activities.

Join our dedicated team as an Equipment Delivery Driver at Hampshire Equipment Services (HES), supporting adults and children across Hampshire who need additional care. Youll deliver, build, and install medical equipment for people with disabilities and those recently discharged from hospital. Working Patterns

Job summary
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist with previous NHS experience to join our Microbiology Department at Chesterfield as part of Derbyshire Pathology, a joint venture for Derby and Chesterfield laboratories which are both accredited to ISO 15189.
The department performs bacteriology, parasitology, serology, molecular testing and operates an extended working day and 24 hour on call service.

Main duties of the job

To engage in training of staff. To fully participate in on-call, out of hours and weekend duties. Familiarisation and understanding of ISO 15189 standards, Health & Safety requirements; audit and training/education techniques is essential.
Experience of utilising transformation methodologies to drive change and improve service delivery is also desirable. Proactive individuals, with drive and dedication will excel in this post.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join our well established Stroke team at the Royal Derby Hospital. This team is a valuable source of knowledge and resource in Stroke across the trust, assessing, managing, treating and advising on Acute Stroke Care in numerous different settings.
They will be given the support and guidance to fulfil this role and it provides an excellent opportunity for personal development into a specialist nurse role, through competency packages, nurse prescribing and clinical decision making modules supported.
Whilst the role is for 23 hours there is an opportunity to increase this to full time, as another part time member of staff is going on maternity leave at the same time. Therefore, there will be an option to extend the hours for a year to full time.
Main duties of the job
To work within agreed role responsibilities escalating clinical issues for appropriate medical review. To provide an expert specialist nursing service.
Receives and prioritises direct referrals to Stroke across the trust. Assess patients with suspected Stroke and refer to appropriate area. Provide expert nursing advice and support to patient and carers. To support junior members of the team.
The candidate would be expected to work alongside the Stroke MDT to support and deliver a continually expanding high standard of expert knowledge and care to Stroke patients who enter the trust. It is essential that the candidate is a Registered Nurse with current acute experience. A knowledge of up to date national and local guidelines is essential, as well as being an excellent communicator and team member. The role will involve autonomous working and clinical decision making, implementing trust guidelines as well as providing expert support, knowledge and advice on potentially complex Stroke patients to medical and nursing staff across the trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Paediatric Medical Secretary Team Leader at Queen's Hospital Burton.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to combine the provision of a comprehensive medical secretarial service for an allocated Consultant and clinical team with day-to-day leadership of the Medical Secretary Team and Paediatric outpatient Reception Service.
The successful candidate will act as the team lead for administrative services within the department, supporting a team of medical secretaries and reception staff to deliver a high-quality, responsive, and patient-focused service. Working closely with Consultants, the Operational Coordinator and the Paediatric Management Team, the post holder will provide first-line management support, coordinate workloads, oversee staffing arrangements and contribute to the ongoing development of administrative services.
The role requires a proactive and organised individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively balance their own workload while supporting others. The ability to motivate and develop staff, manage competing priorities and respond positively to changing service demands is essential.
Main duties of the job
- Provide a comprehensive medical secretarial service to an allocated Consultant and their clinical team, ensuring the delivery of an efficient, responsive and professional administrative service.
- Act as the day-to-day lead for the Medical Secretary Team and Paediatric Reception Service at Queen's Hospital Burton, promoting high standards of performance and service delivery.
- Provide operational support and first-line supervision to administrative staff, ensuring workloads are managed effectively and service priorities are achieved.
- Act as a key point of contact for Consultants, administrative colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team, facilitating effective communication and problem resolution.
- Support the Operational Coordinator and Paediatric Management Team with workforce management, recruitment, staff development and service improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of administrative processes to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of services across the paediatric pathway.
- Support the delivery of organisational objectives through effective leadership, staff engagement and continuous improvement activities.
