Job summary
We are recruiting for an experienced Phlebotomist.
16 hours per week on a permanent contract, working with our PCN Enhanced Team.
£12.89 hourly rate.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS Clearance. Should you have this certificate as part of the DBS subscription service, we would be happy to accept this providing the original is shown. Otherwise, you will be expected to complete a new application.
As the role involves patient home visits, you are required to be able to drive, own a vehicle for work, and have Business Car Insurance.
Main duties of the job
Main duties and responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):
-Working in the community with housebound patients under the direction of a qualified nurse.
-To collect venous/capillary blood samples without harm to patient or self by following the phlebotomy standard operating procedures.
-To obtain such blood samples to a standard fit for laboratory testing ensuring collection, maintaining appropriate files and records as required.
- To ensure that all phlebotomy equipment and accommodation is properly maintained and suitable for use.
- To perform basic observations including SATS and BP.
Experience of home visiting is desirable however further training will be provided.

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting these ongoing improvements and helping to shape the future of our services.

Reporting to the GP Partners and Business Manager, you will help ensure the effective day-to-day management of the Practice. This includes supporting the delivery of contractual obligations to NHS England (NHSE) and maintaining compliance with Health and Safety requirements, Information Governance standards, employment legislation, and Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.
While experience in a management role within the NHS or primary care is desirable, we welcome applications from individuals with relevant management and leadership experience from a broad range of sectors. We would also be pleased to hear from clinicians and experienced support staff seeking to develop their career in practice management.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Business Manager and GP Partner, you will support the efficient operation of the Practice and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing oversight and support for HR processes, staff training, and people management.
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Information Governance, CQC requirements, and other statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Acting as a key point of contact for patient communications and engagement with the Patient Participation Group (PPG).
- Managing and responding to patient feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Supporting workforce planning, rota management, and staff scheduling.
- Assisting staff with IT systems, digital developments, and practice-wide change initiatives.
- Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of Practice services.

We have a new opportunity to join a successful and hard working GP Practice as an IT Assistant. The position involves working alongside the existing IT Team to support the IT Manager in managing the practices IT systems and all aspects of keeping the patient database and patient records up to date and accurate.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Care Coordinator on a part-time basis, 21.5 hours per week on a permanent basis, to provide a comprehensive reception service to achieve an efficient and effective service in providing the best possible care to patients.

Job summary
The role exists to support the delivery of the Primary Care Network agenda, ensuring effective functioning to meet contract requirements. It plays a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality primary healthcare across a network of 3 General Practices. As a manager, this role will form an integral part of the PCN leadership team working alongside the Clinical Director, Business Manager and PCN board members. It is vital that the transformation within the PCN aligns the PCN within the developing Neighbourhood.
The successful candidate will have operational responsibility for various functions of the PCN. They will be responsible for the delivery and monitoring of services, digital platforms and transformational projects committed to or commissioned by the PCN. They will also provide oversight of the financial management, resourcing and regulatory compliance of the work of the PCN, ensuring that transformation falls within financial constraints. Their knowledge of systems and digital solutions will guide the PCN to optimise efficiency and support clinical functions. The ability to analyse data will be required to direct clinical and non-clinical reviews, processes and strategic decisions.
Coordinating the successful achievement of governance requirements and working with Network Members to translate national and local policy into meaningful changes and will support practices to achieve improved outcomes for the local population.

Rock Health Care are looking for a professional Patient Advisor to join our friendly Practice team.
Working on our main reception desk, you will step straight into a vital role as our first point of contact for everyone who walks through the door. Daily life in this role is all about patient care, meaning you will guide visitors through their enquiries and ensure a smooth, helpful experience whether they call us or visit in person.
Shifts will be between 08:00 and 18:30, Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
- Act as the main point of contact for the practice, welcoming patients, medical students, pharmaceutical reps, and external visitors from the CQC and ICB
- Handle a high volume of face-to-face and telephone enquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals, helping them navigate services efficiently
- Manage the clinic diaries by booking patients in with GPs and other healthcare staff quickly and accurately to minimise waiting times
- Generate and process repeat and routine prescription requests accurately and efficiently in line with practice guidelines
- Update and maintain electronic patient records, handling clinical coding and document processing using Docman
- Stay on top of daily workflow tasks, patient messages, and incoming correspondence in the generic practice email inbox
- Support the team by preparing meeting agendas, distributing paperwork, and taking accurate minutes during staff meetings
- Monitor stock levels and handle ordering to ensure the reception area and front desk have all necessary supplies
- Take responsibility for the reception environment, keeping patient noticeboards and information leaflets organised, accessible, and up to date

Job summary
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Specialist Nurse to lead the delivery of specialist nursing care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing expert symptom management, hands-on nursing care, and emotional and practical support. You will help children and young people receive personalised, family-centred care, including supporting families to care for their child at home wherever possible.
You will provide day-to-day leadership for the Kaleidoscope Team and work closely with Children's Community Nursing, hospitals, hospices, social care and other partners to coordinate safe and effective care.
The role offers a balance of clinical practice, leadership, service development and education. You will contribute to improving children's palliative and end-of-life care while supporting colleagues, parents and carers.
Participation in the 24/7 end-of-life on-call rota will be required when needed.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing specialist nursing care, symptom management and end-of-life support for children receiving care at home, working closely with the Children's Community Nursing Team.
- Assessing referrals and eligibility, including nursing and Continuing Care assessments.
- Delivering hands-on clinical care and supporting the safe administration and management of controlled drugs in the community.
- Providing day-to-day leadership and support to the Kaleidoscope Nurse.
- Working with Play Specialists, social care, hospitals, hospices and other professionals to coordinate care and support transition to adult services.
- Leading and contributing to safeguarding processes, including attendance at relevant meetings and case conferences.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records, contributing to service reporting and supporting delivery against service requirements.
