We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work at Lincoln County Hospital within the Renal Secretarial Team.
We provide a comprehensive service to the Consultants and their team which is essential in the provision of high quality patient experience. The post-holder will support the administration and secretarial teams with their day-to-day duties.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player, will be required to have GCSE English grade C or equivalent. A flexible approach to work is required and an ability to get on with others in a team based environment.
This role involves pulling A&E notes, scanning, filing, answering phone queries, actioning correspondence, dealing with police statements and drafting harm reviews.

Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

This is an established post developed to support the expansion of gastroenterology and endoscopy services at ULTH.

Main duties of the job
The successful post-holder will:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consultant-led service with the highest standards of patient care.
- Work with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines.
- Develop and maintain good working practices.
- Collaborate and promote close working links with colleagues in tertiary centres, community services and primary care.
- Provide support and leadership to junior medical colleagues, nursing colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
About us
This post is to meet the growing demand for gastroenterology services across the county in addition to supporting daily senior review of up to 15 inpatients at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, and the emergency upper GI bleed on-call rota.
The post sits within the department of gastroenterology and, managerially, within the speciality medicine business unit. It is anticipated that with this post the consultant gastroenterologists will work as a team to ensure robust and appropriate cover of the wards and gastroenterology referrals.
Teamwork is an essential requirement.
The post-holder will take responsibility for their continuing professional development (CPD) and will be supported by the Trust when appropriate. The post-holder will also be required to be committed to ensuring their revalidation is completed and up to date.

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Therapy Team at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, part of United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT). The successful candidate will join our rotational Band 5 programme, gaining broad clinical experience across both acute and community settings. Rotations last approximately six months and include specialties such as Medicine, Care of the Older Person, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Respiratory, Community/Outreach, Outpatients, and Front Door.
You will be part of a supportive 7-day therapy service, developing core Occupational Therapy skills and clinical confidence across diverse environments. ULHT delivers an integrated Therapy Service with a strong focus on rehabilitation, early intervention, and the prevention of deconditioning. Main duties of the job
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our well-established team of over 60 Integrated Therapy staff. You will provide high standard Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment interventions within an integrated therapy team. These rotational positions offer an important opportunity and challenging career move for you to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge. As a department we are committed to excellence and provide regular staff supervision and appraisal. The department also supports occupational therapy students.
Our team is highly focussed on supporting your development and we work hard to ensure you will receive 1:1 supervision, regular training/peer reviews and access to advice and support.
All Occupational Therapist benefit from protected CPD time, as well as the opportunity to attend locally organised courses run by nationally accredited tutors.
The post-holder will be based at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, with an expectation to travel to and work at least one additional site--most likely Lincoln County Hospital.

This is currently a time of exciting change for maternity provision within Lincolnshire as a Local Maternity System (LMS) has been established by the ICB with the Lincolnshire Sustainability and Transformation Partnership.
Within the antenatal care department we have an amazing opportunity to welcome women and families into the Trust. High quality antenatal care is provided using the implementation of Saving Babies Lives care bundle V3 and the development of our Maternity Triage Department which has recently adopted the Birmingham Symptom Specific Obstetric Triage System, BSOTs.

The Lung Cancer Screening Navigator plays a key role in supporting the NHS Lung Cancer Screening Programme and Targeted Lung Health Check pathway. Main duties of the job
Across the Trust, our Endoscopy departments perform a variety of standard and advanced Endoscopic procedures for both out-patients and in-patients including; gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastroscopy (PEG) insertion, oesophageal stenting and ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography). Other specialist work is also undertaken by individual consultants.
Our departments are presently offer a 7 day service including bank holidays. Our current hours of opening are 8am until 7pm.
Main duties of this post:
- To decontaminate and process endoscopes and other equipment.
- To assist in the delivery of safe patient care, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- To contribute to the efficient running of the endoscopy unit as directed by the Registered Nurse
- To assist in the induction of new staff as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- To undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contribute to their treatment plans.
- To support patients and their families with care and compassion at all stages of their procedure.
- To promote and uphold the privacy, dignity, rights, health and wellbeing of people accessing our services.
- To work in accordance with Trust policies and procedures and operate within the boundaries of the role and sphere of assessed competencies.

Trauma Orthopaedic Surgical wards at Pilgrim Hospital are looking to recruit both experienced and new to care Health Care Support Workers.
We are looking for a highly motivated individuals who want to work in a busy and demanding environment. They must have excellent communication skills and enjoy being part of a team. The Clinical Health Care Support Worker will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate and high quality care to patients. The post holder will support registered nurses and other health professionals in delivering both clinical and non-clinical duties including nutritional support, observations, maintaining patient comfort, dignity and independence. There is also opportunities to develop and undertake training such as cannulation, venepuncture and simple wounds.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will work within an established Trauma Orthopaedic team, carrying out essential patient care under the direction and supervision of a qualified nurse.
Previous experience of working in a health/care setting is desirable but not essential as training will be given. The successful applicants will receive an induction program and will be supported to develop extended roles such as venepuncture, medical observations and other clinical skills. The position will involve all aspects of patient care, with a wide variety of patients with diverse nursing needs.
The role will involve working alongside the nurses on the ward to deliver an excellent positive care experience. Whilst working as an effective and responsible member of the team you will consistently work with legislation, policies, procedures and other quality approaches whilst adhering to ULHT values and standards.

A Macmillan Cancer Information & Support Assistant, is a patient facing role, providing direct support to people affected by cancer, offering personalised information and guidance. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work as a newly appointed Clinical Support Officer, primarily looking after Consultants, whilst working closely with management, doctors, and PSH teams.
We have multiple positions so both full time and part time hours will be considered. To be worked over Monday to Friday with hours ranging from 8am-5pm to be considered.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Front Door Therapy Team at Lincoln Hospital. You will work within an experienced front door therapy team assessing patients from multiple specialities to facilitate discharge from the emergency areas. You must be someone who enjoys the fast pace of life as well as being a great decision maker and communicator. You must be flexible, innovative, highly motivated and above all be committed to improving the care and assessment of people living with frailty. The skills and knowledge of the Occupational Therapists are essential in supporting patients living with frailty and complex conditions and in assisting them in recovering from illness, to return home sooner with a safe and effective discharge plan based on their current needs and abilities, whilst promoting their independence and dignity, with the ultimate aim to improve the patient outcome and experience.
Main duties of the job
To use expert skills and knowledge part of a comprehensive MDT assessment to support the management of adults. To manage a complex caseload. To complete complex moving and handling assessments and/or demonstrating the use of moving and handling equipment with families and/or informal carers. This may also include identifying and completing access and environmental home assessments to identify and minimise potential risk, part of effective discharge planning. To use highly developed communication skills on a daily basis, to liaise with patients, families, carers and a broad multidisciplinary team. You will be required to work in a range of emergency assessment areas, responding to patients in a timely and proactive manner. To also support the junior members of the team including therapy assistant practitioners with the delegation of assessments, caseload management and to provide regular supervision. Your base will be Lincoln County Hospital but you will be required to travel to Pilgrim Hospital Boston as required to support the front door service. Service hours are 7 days a week from 8 am to 8pm and post holder is required to work within those hours to meet service needs.
