Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a 10PA post for a Consultant Cellular Pathologist for the Royal Berkshire Hospital as part of Berkshire/Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS) Network.
The appointee will be required to be medically qualified and to have broad experience in diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology. It is expected that the appointee will hold Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or show evidence of equivalent training and experience. The appointee will join the existing team to provide specialist care to thisgrowing population of patients and raise departmental profiles through teaching and education.
The aim of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Cellular Pathology service is to become a leader in the field of Cellular Pathology management and the successful applicant must therefore have the pre-requisite procedural and leadership skills as well as team work, drive and ambition to succeed in achieving these goals.
The simulation date is XXXXX and the interview date is XXXXX.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will support the current delivery of histopathology and cytopathology services, including contribution to the development of these services at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. The post would also benefit from taking the lead in one or more subspecialty disciplines. There is scope for negotiation within the department as to which cancer site the appointee will act as lead in, however there is currently a need to cover the Gynecology screening and non-screening workload and MDT, non gynae cytology workload, GIT workload.

Job summary
The post holder will report to the Employee Relations Lead and will support the line management and mentoring of the Employee Relations (ER) team members to ensure the provision of a cohesive and standardised service that delivers consistently high standards of advice. They will also provide support to managers and staff within the Trust and contribute to the development and delivery of a variety of tools and interventions to improve management understanding and their capabilities in all ER-related matters. They will work closely with the wider workforce teams to ensure the delivery of a professional and high-quality ER service to Trust Divisions and departments. Key responsibilities include being the expert in employment relations issues, providing advice across the Divisions, and ensuring best practice initiatives are followed. The post holder will also identify continuous improvement projects to streamline and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the service. Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to providing operational oversight for comprehensive and consistent advice, support, and training in all ER matters to the Trust. Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with an interest in oesophagogastric (OG) surgery and wishes to work as part of a tumour-site specific multi-disciplinary team who values and respects the role of the Dietitian.
This post will support and work alongside the OG dietetic team to provide a comprehensive dietetic service to pre- and post-operative OG patients treated at the Churchill Hospital, part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUHFT), Oxford.
The OUH is a regional centre for OG cancer management covering the Thames Valley and one of a few UK centres providing the surgical management of trachea-oesophageal fistula (TOF), end stage achalasia and other complex benign diseases of the oesophagus and stomach.
We encourage every Band 6 to protect 20% of their time within the role to development, both individually and as a service. This can include quality improvement projects, clinical audit and CPD, as well as service development, such as reviewing the way the service is delivered and the patient pathway. This role therefore provides a great opportunity to develop clinical and leadership skills.
Main duties of the job
The primary focus of this post will be to support the OG cancer patients who are treated surgically but also those who have complex benign disease and require pre- and post-operative dietetic support. This will includes:
- Provide screening and assessments of patients at all stages of treatment
- Manage weekly telephone/video clinics +/- face to face clinics
- Liaise with the OG MDT with regards to the nutritional management of patients (e.g. feeding tube insertions, treatment decisions, hospital admissions).
- Provide short and long-term follow-up and management of treatment side effects of surgery and systemic anticancer treatments
- Work alongside the ERAS and Prehab nursing team to run OG specific virtual prehabilitation group sessions
- Run a pre surgery, virtual education group session for patients
- Support patients with home enteral feeding, jejunostomy and gastrostomy care advice and trouble shooting
- Support patients with the monitoring and appropriate supplementation of micronutrient status after OG surgery.
- Work alongside dietetic colleagues to develop departmental guidelines and standards of best practice.
- Work as a member of the dietetic department and contribute to departmental projects
- Advise and teaching both medical and nursing staff on the dietetic management of OG surgical patients and enteral nutritional support

Main duties of the job

Provide a Dietetic service to people admitted to mental health wards and also where required to a Mental Health Rehabilitation unit in Halifax.

Job summary
The post holder will be delivering day-to-day clinical research - i.e. assessing suitability and obtaining consent for research, undertaking full medical assessments of clinical trial participants including neurological, haematological and physical clinical examinations and contributing to data collection by administering assessment scales.

This is an ideal opportunity for gaining experience in clinical trials and we would welcome applicants with a broad range of general medical experience including Neurology, Haematology, Rheumatology, General Practice and Emergency Medicine, especially with outpatient experience and clear experience communicating effectively with primary care providers.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the delivery of advanced therapy clinical research studies within King's Clinical Research Facility. This includes Phase I-III clinical trials involving Advanced Therapy Investigational Medicinal Products (ATIMPs), including cell therapies, gene therapies, tissue-engineered products and genetically modified cellular products. Current areas of ATIMP research are focussed on neurology, rheumatology, and haematology.
The Fellow will act as a Sub-Investigator on clinical trials under the supervision of Principal Investigators and will contribute to the safe delivery of experimental medicine studies, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), MHRA regulations and relevant governance frameworks.
The post is designed for Specialty Trainees (ST1-2) wishing to develop expertise in clinical research, advanced therapies, translational medicine and early-phase clinical trials.

Job summary
In an exciting development, South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust (STSFT) are seeking to recruit a Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner. Post holder will be supported to deliver evidence based psychological treatment to children and young people and their families in one of our established Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) in Sunderland, South Tyneside or Gateshead.
Successful applicant will gain experience of providing psychological therapies for children and young people using NICE recommended and evidence-based mental health treatments. As a trainee, they will also be expected to attend and complete Post Graduate Diploma in Systemic Family Practice, training programme at Northumbria University (Newcastle) and gain the skills and knowledge to enable them to deliver systemic interventions. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Somerset & North Devon Vascular Network as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon. The role attracts 10 PA's per week and includes participation in the 1:7 consultant on-call rota, clinical governance, education, quality improvement, research and service development.
You will join a highly performing regional network providing comprehensive elective and emergency vascular services to a population of approximately 750,000. This post supports the continued growth of vascular and endovascular activity across the Network and offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of modern vascular services.
You should be able to provide the full spectrum of vascular surgical care and demonstrate experience in contemporary endovascular practice, including EVAR, complex iliac and femoropopliteal intervention, and hybrid procedures. Additional expertise in complex aortic intervention, limb salvage techniques and advanced endovascular technologies would be advantageous.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team of vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, specialist nurses, vascular scientists and allied health professionals, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across hub and spoke sites.
Main duties of the job
You will provide elective and emergency vascular surgical care across the Somerset & North Devon Vascular Network and take independent responsibility for the assessment, investigation, treatment and ongoing management of patients with vascular disease.

The Integrated Community Health Service operates a seven day service from 08:30 - 22:00, so flexible working is required. Therapy team will be rostered between 08:30 - 18:00 hours including weekends and bank holidays. The ability to travel independently across Warwickshire is required.

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a motivated and passionate paediatrician for the post of consultant neonatologist. The post is an additional substantial post to form a team of 7.0 WTE consultant neonatologists.
This post will be based in our warm, welcoming and expanding neonatal department on Sunderland Royal Hospital site. The service is the lead provider for babies requiring intensive care from Durham, Gateshead, Northumbria and Carlisle who are 27 weeks gestation and above. There are approximately 4000 deliveries/year and the Neonatal Unit has 7 ITU/HDU cots and 9 Special care cots.

Main duties of the job
Overall responsibilities include contributing to the co-ordination and delivery of the operational aspects of the service. You should be enthusiastic and flexible in your approach, with a commitment to providing excellence in neonatal care. In return you will be joining a friendly, supportive, highly motivated team.
Our unit is staffed and equipped to provide Volume targeted ventilation, initiate High frequency oscillation, inhaled Nitric oxide therapy as well as active therapeutic hypothermia.
There is a tier of middle grade paediatricians and advanced neonatal nurse practitioners and a separate tier of ANNPs and medical staff at junior level.
A standard job plan is based on 10 programmed activities (PAs) 8.5 of which are clinical PAs.
