Main duties of the job

Job summary
This fixed term maternity cover opportunity for the Principal Pharmacist - Cancer and Aseptic Services role is a senior leadership post within the Pharmacy Department at Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH), providing strategic, clinical and operational leadership for cancer pharmacy and aseptic services. The post holder is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective and patient-centred delivery of pharmaceutical care for patients receiving systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT), as well as leading the development and governance of cancer and aseptic services across the site.
As an expert practitioner in adult haematology and oncology, the post holder will provide highly specialised clinical expertise, support multidisciplinary decision-making, and lead the delivery of evidence-based pharmaceutical care. The role includes accountability for the safe and compliant operation of the Section 10 Aseptic Unit, acting as the Accountable Pharmacist and ensuring adherence to all legal, regulatory, quality assurance and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
Working as a key member of the Pharmacy Leadership Team, the post holder will contribute to Trust-wide strategic objectives, service development, clinical governance, workforce planning and continuous quality improvement.
The post holder will promote a culture of excellence, safety and continuous professional development.
Main duties of the job
- Provide professional, clinical and managerial leadership for Cancer and Aseptic Services at PRUH, ensuring delivery of safe, effective and patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
- Act as the Trust's specialist pharmacist for haematology and oncology services, providing expert advice on systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT), cancer medicines and complex patient management.
- Lead the governance, development and continuous improvement of cancer pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with national standards, clinical governance requirements and best practice.
- Serve as the Accountable Pharmacist for the Section 10 Aseptic Unit, overseeing the safe manufacture, release and quality assurance of cytotoxic and aseptically prepared medicines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), quality assurance standards and health and safety requirements.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary working to support optimal treatment outcomes, medicines optimisation and patient experience across oncology, haematology and palliative care services.

Job summary
The radiology department is a thriving, cohesive team seeking Consultant Radiologists with subspecialty interests including Chest, Head and Neck/Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, and Vascular Interventional Radiology. The post will provide additional specialist reporting to support and develop Trust imaging services, with flexibility to accommodate the successful applicant's interests. Duties include general and specialist MRI and CT reporting, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and support for specialist MDTs. Vascular Interventional Radiology candidates will also undertake vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures. The role includes acute general work within a dedicated CT and MRI reporting hub, plus a two-hour weekly duty radiologist session. Diagnostic Radiology on-call is currently 1 in 15, covering 5pm-9pm weekdays and 9am-9pm weekends, with external cover outside these hours and occasional remote cover by the post holder. Most shifts are supported by a radiology registrar. Interventional Radiology on-call is currently 1 in 6 and is expected to reduce with further appointments. Further details are available on request.
Main duties of the job
The post can be based at one of the two main acute hospital sites situated in York or Scarborough. There is an expectation to provide onsite clinical cover at both of these sites from the Consultant Radiologist workforce (currently approximately one day per fortnight at the none base site; travel time between sites included in the remuneration package).
Acute CT and MRI reporting is dealt with by a team based within a dedicated acute reporting hub allowing cross-cover and subspecialty support.
All Radiologists have a short weekly session as the duty radiologist to support general vetting and radiographer queries.
Protected subspecialist reporting sessions are job planned and tailored to sub speciality interests, but might include: diagnostic ultrasound, fluoroscopy, MRI and CT lists, with intervention based on specialty and alongside both cancer and non-cancer MDTs.
The current radiology team have an excellent reputation for providing high quality reports and specialist opinions. It is a supportive and nurturing department with high rates of retention and job satisfaction.
The radiology department is committed to teaching. We support radiology trainees from both West Yorkshire (Leeds) and east Yorkshire (Hull) training schemes. The Radiology Service at BCU West is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Radiology Clinical Support Worker (Band 3).
As a key member of the team, you will assist the Radiographers and Sonographers with patient care during diagnostic procedures and carry out a range of clerical and administrative duties, including booking complex appointments and preparing clinical areas. The Senior Radiology Clinical Support Worker (Band 3) plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and effective delivery of Radiology services.
Working under the supervision of Radiographers and Sonographers, the post holder will contribute to both the clinical and administrative aspects of patient care, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained throughout the department.
You will be expected to work independently within your scope of practice, carrying out delegated tasks related to Radiographic and Ultrasound procedures. This includes preparing patients and clinical areas, assisting during examinations, and progressing routine procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and safety guidelines.
In addition to clinical duties, you will support the administrative management of patient pathways--booking appointments, managing patient records, and helping to coordinate workflow to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
The role requires a flexible and adaptable approach, as you may be asked to work across different areas of the Radiology department depending on service needs. You will also be expected to participate in ongoing training and development to keep your skills up to date and to support service improvements.
This is a patient-facing role that may involve exposure to sensitive or distressing situations. Due to the nature of this role, compassion, professionalism, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Main duties of the job
Duties and Responsibilities as a Consultant
Maintain the knowledge and skills essential for fulfilling the job plan.
Responsible for the timely review of all medical patients attending the services.
Responsible to facilitate a rapid triage, assessment and discharge for the ambulatory patients and coordinate a clinic appointment if required.
Daily ward rounds and identifying morning discharges ensuring the patient is safely discharged from the department.
Administrative duties within the department.
Provide high quality care to patients including clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff..
To ensure adequate supervision of junior staff including break supervision and adherence to European Working Time Directive
Undertake re-validation as per the General Medical Council and will be required to undergo multi-source feedback and participate in reflective practice.

Attend Clinical Governance and take on leadership roles to support continuous learning and improvement.
Liaise with clinicians and managers within and outside of the department to address issues arising that affecting the service.

Job Summary:
Co-ordinating the reconciliation and processing of pharmaceutical invoices.

Monitor current and forecasted supply disruptions, escalating issues to the Senior Technician (procurement) as appropriate.

Our Integrated Front Door (IFD) team within our Dorset Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Service has a unique opportunity to transform how children, young people, families, and professionals access mental health support.
As the Senior Clinical Practitioner, you will be in a pivotal role, eager to help shape our future and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment. CYPMH Dorset is entering an exciting period of growth, with new investments enabling us to enhance our services in line with Thrive principles. This role will evolve as we develop, beginning with supporting existing teams from a temporary base during the transition. Positions are pan-Dorset, and the future service will include extended operational hours as we expand.
As the first point of clinical contact, you will offer timely assessments of need, advice and signposting, to ensure safe triage to the appropriate pathway. You will exercise advanced clinical judgment and decision-making skills, working collaboratively across care systems.

Main duties of the job
The ECP will have strong, demonstrable clinical experience of working therapeutically with children and young people with mental health presentations and their families. The post holder will work cohesively alongside the Team Leaders, Clinical Lead and Clinical Service Manager and other ECP providing robust clinical leadership, supporting the team with complex cases, hold a caseload within their professional and clinical competence, contribute to multi-agency meetings by providing expert clinical input and promoting the role of CAMHS.
You will provide inspirational clinical leadership to the team, promoting positive outcomes for the young people of Dorset by ensuring that the service provides high quality interventions and offering.

Job summary
As part of the Hospice in Your Home Team (HIYH) the post holder will work as a Registered Nurse (contracted) to support palliative and end of life care patients within their own home. This may include help with personal care, assistance with moving and handling and emotional support symptom management. The HIYH Team provides Hospice at Home and Hospice Night Support services over 24 hours, 7 days per week, including Bank Holidays and shifts are allocated on a roster basis. You will therefore be required to work in both
a 1 to 1 capacity for a full support shift in a patients home in a lone worker capacity
and in a pair, to provide a responsive, mobile service undertaking shorter visits to several patients across the shift.
Main duties of the job
You will provide high quality clinically based palliative and end of life nursing care, for patients who wish to be cared for at home. This includes supporting families and carers with helping patients to remain in their preferred place of care whilst working collaboratively with Community Nursing and Social Care Teams. The role requires travel within the geographical boundaries of Nottinghamshire Hospices referral criteria. The post holder will work alongside the HIYH Registered Nurse Leads and will act as the RN Shift Lead as required. You will be required to undertake line management responsibility for an allocated group of Palliative Care Assistants (contracted) and Health Care Assistants (Bank).

Ascend is an evidence-based, psychological service, working in partnership with local voluntary sector services (Staffordshire Women's Aid/Survive), and alongside existing NHS services, including Talking Therapies and secondary mental health services.
The PWP role is to assess and support people accessing the Ascend service, undertaking patient-centred interviews which identifies areas where the person wished to see change and or recovery, and makes an accurate assessment of risk to self and others. Main duties of the job
- Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service.
- Assess and support people accessing the Ascend Service, a service for people aged 16 and above who have experienced sexual assault or abuse.
- Undertake patient-centred assessments which identifies areas where the person wishes to see change and or recovery and makes an accurate assessment of risk to self and others.
- Make decisions on suitability of new referrals with appropriate levels of supervision, adhering to the service's referral protocols, refers unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary.
- Provide a range of information and support for evidence based psychological treatments. This work may be face to face, telephone, workshops or via other media.
- Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the overall number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.
- Provide a minimum of two hours per week step 2 treatment with patients aged 16+ within an adult service. This clinical practice must include both assessment and 1:1 treatment, groups via live interventions
- Attend MDT meetings relating to referrals of clients in treatment, where appropriate.

1. Portering
General Duties
To ensure that the daily collection and delivery of mail is carried out as scheduled.
To sort mail and ensure mail is transported to its destination in the shortest possible time.
To collect items from Pharmacy and deliver to Trust premises as required.

JOB SUMMARY
To provide a high quality, developing and flexible portering, mail and maintenance service within a South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust or for other organisations as directed.
Progressive training and experience in elements of the facilities technical support workers duties will help the post holder to reach levels of flexibility and competence over a wide range of traditional building and engineering semi skilled work.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
1. Portering
General Duties
To ensure that the daily collection and delivery of mail is carried out as scheduled.
To sort mail and ensure mail is transported to its destination in the shortest possible time.
To collect items from Pharmacy and deliver to Trust premises as required.
To collect and deliver specimens to and from Trust premises and Pathology as required.
To obtain proof of receipt when required from service users following delivery.
To deliver, remove or transfer equipment from/to/between Trust premises.
To deliver stores to all villas and ward areas.
To deliver food to villas and ward areas.
2. Security Duties
To secure buildings and property as required.
Ensure security of keys is maintained in the porters lodge.
Undertake regular security checks of premises during silent hours.
Reset burglar alarms and advise the Portering / Transport Manager.

To monitor CCTV equipment and act appropriately when required.
3. Linen / Refuse Collections and Deliveries
To collect dirty linen / rubbish from wards, departments and community premises.
Dispose of cytotoxic waste adhering to DoE guidelines ensuring collection.
4. Maintenance
To assist in the maintenance of Trust properties and services.
To carry out planned maintenance work:
o Fire alarm panels monitor and reset
o Temperature checks legionella
o Door closers
o Maintenance checks of Trust vehicles and completion of paperwork (oil, water, tyres, lights etc).
o Washing of Trust vehicles.
o Clearing of road gullies and gutters.
o Cleanliness of Trust grounds, removal of rubbish, sweeping etc.
o Monitor and record fridge / freezer temperatures.
To carry out repairs / new work as the job indicates:
o Install notice boards, shelving, pictures, paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers etc.
o Board up windows.
o Basic plumbing tasks replace kip wastes, ball valves, plug tops.
o Unblock sinks, toilets, showers etc/
o Clean light fittings and re-lamp.
o Check external lighting and replace where necessary.

To ensure all pavements, roads and patient areas are safe as reasonably practicable during inclement weather i.e. gritting.
To advise the Portering / Transport Manager of any defects so that repairs can be carried out by following the correct procedures.
To assist in general gardening duties are required.

5. Miscellaneous
To report accidents / incidents immediately and in accordance with Trust policy.

The AWMGS is hosted by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB) and reports directly into the Executive team via the Executive Director of Allied Health Professionals and Healthcare Scientists. The AWMGS provides comprehensive clinical and laboratory services to the population of Wales. The AWMGS laboratory service delivers cancer services, inherited services including rare disease, pharmacogenomic and neuropsychiatric services and provides population health testing services commissioned in Wales.The Cancer Genomics section delivers a range of solid tumour, haematological malignancy, circulating tumour DNA and germline cancer services. The post holder will be a very senior state registered clinical scientist with FRCPath working with autonomy, taking full clinical, leadership and managerial responsibility for the Cancer Genomics section at an all Wales level . They will be well supported, mentored, and managed within that department, with the opportunity for ongoing peer support, supervision, and further training and advancement.
Main duties of the job
The AMH Clinical Psychology and Psychological Services are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced 8a (Band 7 development post possible) Clinical Psychologist, to be based and work full time in Wrexham CMHT.
This is a permanent post, and the post holder will work as part of integrated secondary mental health services for adults who have complex and severe mental health needs.
The post holder will be expected to integrate well and co-work with their CMHT colleagues, providing specialist psychological knowledge and expertise to the team. As well as providing direct clinical input to clients, this will also involve working through others by training, supervision, and formulation work. It will also involve attendance at clinical MDT meetings, referral meetings (SPOA), and CMHT business meetings, and strategic and clinical leadership.

Main duties of the job

Assist and support the Head of IT Delivery and other team members in the delivery of Trust IT Infrastructure Policies and long-term IT Infrastructure Strategic Plan, to ensure a seamless and consistent delivery of IT Services.

Provide guidance and advice as required or requested by other departments on the procurement of new solutions, systems or services to ensure they comply with the Trusts IT Strategic direction and 5-year IT plan.
Work with the Internal specialist teams and Heads of IT Services to ensure the IT systems and services are affordable and cost effective.
To contribute to the overall development of the Trust, identifying present and future opportunities, threats and risks in the environment.
Promote effective use of IT systems and services, developing IT infrastructure awareness and promoting a culture of cloud first server adoption.

Library Assistant - 35 hours per week
This role will work across two NHS organisations - Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The role will be hosted by Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust and therefore, whilst working across two sites for both organisations, your employment contract will be with Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The duties will be the same at each Trust.
Knowledge and Library Services (KLS) facilitate access to the most up-to-date and relevant healthcare information. This enables high quality, evidence-based decision-making in patient care, personal development for our colleagues and research innovation activity across our trusts. This role is based in the library at each hospital site and involves all aspects of working on a library enquiry desk.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be the first point of contact for library users, both in-person and online. You will work with a small, highly motivated KLS team to provide exceptional customer service to NHS colleagues ensuring they can access the information they need. You will play a key role in promoting the library service and resources, raising awareness within the trusts and encouraging their use, with the end goal of improving patient care. You will be a strong communicator who is confident and can communicate well with a broad range of colleagues, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The post holder will provide administrative support for the team and carry out duties such as book ordering and processing.
