Locum Consultant Neurologist - Fixed Term (7 months)
Applicants are invited to apply for the general locum consultant Neurology posts, a specialist interest is desirable. You will join an established team of Consultant Neurologists in helping to deliver a General and Subspecialty Neurology service within the North Midlands and beyond.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our existing team who provide general and sub specialist patient care at our Neurosciences Centre of Excellence. The Neurology out-patient and in-patient services are supported by a dedicated Neurology Ambulatory Care Unit (NACU) which provides day-case services and we also offer a video telemetry service, supported by our Neurophysiology Department.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will be expected to provide expert patient assessment in the diagnosis and management of all neurological conditions in both in-patents and out-patient settings. They will be required to actively engage in and develop Neurology services and to provide clinical leadership to others. A flexible approach will be required to working for our Trust, due to multiple site working. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to skills to provide new ways of working across different professions, organisations i.e. community/primary care.

We are a teaching hospital in partnership with Keele University and we have a patient-centered clinical research facility providing state-of-the-art facilities.
The University Hospital of North Midlands has two sites - the Royal Stoke University Hospital, located in Stoke-on-Trent, and the County Hospital, located in Stafford.
From these sites we provide a full range of acute and none-acute hospital services for approximately 700,000 people living in and around Staffordshire and beyond. The Trust also provides specialised services for three million people in a wider area, including neighbouring counties and North Wales.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the multidisciplinary community teams, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service. The opportunity has arisen for us to recruit one enthusiastic and committed Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Trainee PWPs) to join our expanding North Yorkshire NHS Talking Therapies Service (previously known as IAPT prior to the national rebranding).
This role is a training position, which is due to last for 1 year. If your Right to Work is based on a Visa that will expire before the end of the programme and subsequent qualification, it may not be possible to employ you in the role. At present, this programme does not meet the requirements for skilled worker visa sponsorship under the UK Home Office guidelines. Main duties of the job
In this role, you will provide Low Intensity interventions whilst undertaking the PG Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions delivered by Sheffield University which commences in October 2026. This training post will equip you to provide Step 2 Guided Self Help Low Intensity Interventions to clients with a range of common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression in primary care, for which CBT interventions are demonstrated to be clinically effective.

Dorset Steps 2 Wellbeing is a dynamic, and progressive service with a friendly and supportive team. You will work within NHS Talking Therapies, providing psychological interventions to people with mild to moderate common mental health problems, including depression and a a variety of anxiety disorders.
As a psychological wellbeing practitioner, you will provide treatment to help support people by:
Conducting patient interviews
Carry out risk assessments
Provide phone, online, or face-to-face support
Liaise with other agencies, and signpost patients to services, such as housing and employment.
You must have either a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity CBT with IAPT PWP status or an MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) qualification to apply for this post.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work within the NHS Talking Therapies service providing high volume low intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions service to patients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
- Assess and supports people with a common mental health problem in the self management of their recovery.
- Provide a range of information and support for evidence based high volume low - intensity psychological treatments. This may include guided self-help, computerised CBT, and delivering courses. This work may be face to face, telephone or via other media.

Job summary
You will be a registered staff nurse and have excellent assessment, planning and evaluation skills to deliver clinical care to patients and support our Nursing Assistants. Job summary
An exciting opportunity for a qualified RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) to become part of the Mid Essex Dementia and Frailty Pathway
The pathway provides a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment supporting patients of any age with dementia as well as older adults, who have functional mental health needs with an associated age-related frailty.
The successful candidate will be trustworthy, positive about change and will be passionate about the services we provide. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team therefore will need excellent verbal and written communication skills and will have excellent interpersonal skills and a zest for delivering the highest level of patient care and service delivery improvements.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services; providing a 7-day a week, 24-hours a day service for 365 days a year working shifts where appropriate and operationally required.
Please note: this is a community position, and it is essential criteria for the applicant to have a valid driving licence and able to drive, also access to a car for work purposes.

You will be working as a member the Mid Essex Dementia and Frailty Pathway in providing high quality, evidence-based, holistic care to patients in line with your professional code of conduct and Trust policies. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate packages of care based upon individual service user needs, under the guidance of the Nurse Practitioner.
As required by your manager, you will have responsibility for the day to day supervision and management of junior team members within your professional group and team locality. This will include the management of these staff in line with agreed Trust HR processes.

Job summary
We hope to appoint a chaplain of any faith or belief to join our team. This post will have particular responsibility for supporting families of children who are palliative or who have been bereaved. The post will be based in the SWFT chaplaincy team but will work closely with the community children's nursing team and will be part of their MDT. They will also work closely with the acute paediatric nursing team, based in the hospital.
They will provide holistic, emotional, pastoral, spiritual and sometimes religious care to families who are dealing with intense challenge and distress. They will help families to find meaning in what is happening for them and their children and ensure parents have a voice in decision-making about their child's care. They will support staff who care for very sick and dying children, and provide training for bereavement support, compassionate conversations, and staff wellbeing. They will help staff in the identification of spiritual and religious need.
They will build links with local charities and with faith communities and will signpost families to relevant support. They will help families to make meaningful rituals before or after their child's death. They will support with funeral planning, and with memorials.
For children who die in the care of the CCNT, they will act as keyworker for the child death review process, whereby every child's death is reviewed.
As part of the chaplaincy team, they will take part in the out of hours on call rota

The team chaplain and keyworker is to work with the whole Chaplaincy Team and with other healthcare professionals in the delivery of holistic, pastoral, spiritual, emotional and religious care to families whose children are palliative or who have died, in the community and in the hospital.

The rota for the post is set at 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 10am - 6.30pm ( This shift pattern is required to ensure adequate cover is available within the reception team)
You should be proactive, caring and committed to the role and able to work well independently as well as within the team, reporting directly to the Reception Supervisor and Practice Management Team.
Main duties of the job

The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Trust's established Resuscitation Service as a Resuscitation Officer. Reporting to the Senior Resuscitation Officer, the post holder will deliver adult and paediatric resuscitation training to all grades and disciplines of staff plus training in recognition and management of the deteriorating patient. The post will also involve undertaking defined projects related to the service (i.e. audits), attending resuscitation calls on the St Mary's site and deputising for the Senior Resuscitation Officer as required. Successful applicants will be clinically credible, undertaking recent regular clinical work in an acute/critical care setting. The Senior Resuscitation Officer welcomes potential applicants for an informal chat as the role is very varied with a mix of practical, clinical and office administrative duties.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver resuscitation training (adult, paediatric & newborn) to all grades/disciplines of staff (basic and advanced life support as required), trauma resuscitation and the assessment and care of the critically ill patient.
- Support monitoring of standards and protocols, including the audit and evaluation of the resuscitation procedure.
- Support the collection, appraisal and recording of accurate information for the purposes of national and local audits/research related to resuscitation and resuscitation practice.

Research Fellow: SECURE Study
We seek to appoint two academic fellows (0.2 WTE), specifically to support working on the SECURE study, for a period of 6 months with a start date of September 2026 onwards.
This post is suitable for senior anaesthesia/ICM trainees seeking with experience of running a resident research network and participating in national service evaluation projects.
This post is based in the Bristol Heart Institute, Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. Funding is via the Association of Anaesthetists.
The Bristol Heart Institute is a large regional cardiac centre offering adult cardiac surgery, ACHD surgery, a developing major aortic service, as well as an extensive cardiac Cath lab service including rapidly expanding TAVI and edge to edge valve repair programmes.
The post does not include time for clinical experience; however, successful applicants will be supported in gaining clinical experience and other academic experience if desired.

Main duties of the job
What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality clinical support to our dentists and therapists while helping deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain high standards of infection control and ensure surgeries are prepared and cleaned efficiently.
- Support the delivery of emergency and routine care, including special care and paediatric sessions.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care across practice and community settings.
- Engage with patients compassionately, helping to reduce anxiety and ensure they feel welcomed and supported.
- Assist with administrative tasks including record-keeping, stock control, and patient preparation.

As a General Dental Council (GDC) registered professional, the post holder must:
