Job summary
We are seeking a Fixed Term Contract Ward Administrator to join our team for 8 months. You will work alongside other Ward Administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the Wards in City & Hackney.
The post holder is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of reception and administrative duties and welfare functions, ensuring all duties are carried out efficiently, effectively and to a high standard. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and contribute to the smooth functioning of the systems underpinning the Inpatient Ward.
The post holder will be required to work in a busy and demanding environment without direct supervision and work closely with the Modern Matron and Clinical Nurse Manager. It is expected that the post holder will exercise initiative to contribute towards service development. The ability to multi-task is essential.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible for providing day to day administrative support to the service.
To assist with collating all information relating to patients and ensuring that patient files are kept up to date and are regularly reviewed and archived.
To assist with ensuring that all correspondence and key clinical information written or received in relation to patients are collected and filed on a regular basis in the appropriate section in the case record. To be responsible for maintaining an up to date electronic case record via the entering of data onto RiO or other trust electronic system on a daily basis ensuring relevant time scales are met, so as to ensure that information can be retrieved whenever necessary and to meet agreed trust targets and objectives.
Our clinical teams rely on efficient administration systems and processes. This includes accurate data collection and accurate data reporting and analysis.

Job description
Job responsibilities
- To provide comprehensive administrative support for female Ward. This will include liaising with multi-disciplinary staff, service users and their families. Also maintaining effective working relationships with other professionals including Community Teams, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Social Services and interpreting services.

- To receive incoming calls to the ward, answering calls politely, identifying oneself and dealing with queries in a courteous, friendly and helpful manner. The post holder will exercise discretion when handling, monitoring and filtering calls, keeping within data protection, customer care and confidentiality guidelines.

- To ensure the registration of new patient admissions, referrals, discharges, leave status and clinic appointments of service users on the Trust electronic patient system (RIO) within agreed timescales. To also alert the clinical ward team of any emergency or urgent referrals to the service.
- To undertake the inputting of activity data on to the appropriate information systems (centralised and local) and to assist in the collation of statistical information for the purpose of service evaluation.

- To generate, maintain, close and archive medical patient files as appropriate in line with record keeping policies.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated enthusiastic band 7 clinical pharmacist to specialise in the Trust's Pharmacy Homecare Service and contribute to service developments within designated disease groups. The post is split equally between the Pharmacy Homecare Service and Clinical Services team. Working with our Principal Pharmacist Medicines Optimisation, you will help shape and deliver the NHS 10-year plan of shifting care from hospital to community.The post requires good prioritisation and organisational skills to manage both aspects of the role effectively. Main duties of the job
To manage and develop homecare medicines optimisation services, alongside the Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist - Homecare and Medicines Value, by providing a specialist pharmacist service to the homecare team which includes the Christie at Home team and Outsourced homecare.
To manage services for the homecare specialist area through liaison with external homecare providers.
To deputise for the Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist - Homecare and Medicines Value as required.
To provide a clinical pharmacy service to inpatient wards as allocated.
To provide support to the dispensary, aseptic, satellite units and peripheral Christie@sites if required
To qualify as an independent prescriber (if qualification not already achieved) and work as an independent prescriber within a designated disease group working alongside the relevant MDT team.
To provide advice on medicine related issues and clinical trials to healthcare professionals.
To participate in weekend and Bank Holiday rotas and additional out of hours and emergency duty commitment (EDC) duties as required to meet the needs of the service.
Although this post is based at The Christie Hospital main site, postholders may be required to work at any location across the Greater Manchester and Cheshire Cancer Network. An exciting opportunity has arisen for Highly Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nurse Prescriber and Practitioner to join the Neurodevelopmental Team at City and Hackney Specialist CAMHS. City and Hackney Specialist CAMHS is a busy, forward thinking and thriving CAMHS service with high staff morale and excellent CPD opportunities.
The clinician will join a large, experienced multi-disciplinary team of clinicians who provide a range of diagnostic and mental health services to children young people and their families with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide comprehensive specialist assessments, including risk assessment of young people and their families/carers referred with mild learning disability and/or ASD and/or ADHD. They will provide evidence-based behaviour management interventions as part of an integrated care package to children, young people and their families/carers. The post holder will safely prescribe and monitor medications within local and national guidelines, in liaison with a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. This includes conveying to parents, carers and young people, the implications of a prescribed medication, the side effects and what they have to watch for in a sensitive, meaningful way. You will be expected to demonstrate a working knowledge of the prescription of medication effects, side effects and contra-indications in accordance with the independent and supplementary prescribers' training and current legislation. They will be aware of key trends in the evidence base for prescribing and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines commonly prescribed. We will provide an interesting and supportive work environment, with good training and supervision, and regular opportunities to share practice with other ELFT psychotherapy colleagues.

About DESW
Our service provides screening to detect early signs of diabetic retinopathy, a complication of diabetes that can lead to vision loss or blindness if left untreated. The screening process involves taking high-quality digital images of the retina (the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye) to identify any damage to the small blood vessels caused by diabetes.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide participants through screening appointments, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Administer eye drops and accurately check pupil dilation within specified timeframes.
- Capture high-quality digital images of the retina using specialised cameras.
- Strictly adhere to DESW protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Drive the Trust's Light Goods Vehicle to clinic venues primarily across North Wales and occasionally other regions within Wales.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Community Nursery Nurse to join our Flying Start Health Visiting Service in Bethesda, North Wales. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
The post holder will facilitate one to one, group and community work that aims to address health inequalities in partnership with the wider multi-skilled team. They will take a key role in delivering parent support, health promotion and programmes of care. They will provide a service to families as identified in the needs assessment carried out by the Health Visitor and undertake packages of support through implementing and evaluating planned programmes of care. In addition, the post holder will contribute to the public health role in line with government public health initiatives.
The Health Board offers an Induction Course and ongoing Clinical Supervision and support from its Safeguarding Children Team and opportunities for in house training.
Main duties of the job
Support Health Visitors in delivering health promotion within home, clinic and other community based settings as agreed.
Contribute to the implementation of the delivery of the Core Programme as per Health Board service level agreement and directed by the Health Visitor.
Following initial assessment by HV the Community Nursery Nurse will carry out delegated programmes of care or follow up health issues at home or in clinic.
Undertake screening and/or other health related and developmental assessments as and when directed by the Health Visitor.
Refer to appropriate agencies in collaboration with the Health Visitor.
Ensure the delivery of evidence-based practice in order to facilitate effective care. Includes issues relating to health and well being e.g. diet; safety; dental care etc.
Work with parents to increase their knowledge and skills to enable them to identify and meet their own and children's health needs under the supervision of the Health Visitor.
Work in partnership with service users and providers; attend client participation groups, social services meetings as directed by the Health Visitor.
Work in partnership with the community, statutory and voluntary agencies in the provision and development of individual and community initiatives as directed by the Health Visitor.

Job responsibilities
To assist the caseload holder in the management and delivery of care to clients autonomously. Duties may include:
- Building on existing assessment of families needs and deliver packages of planned care with no direct supervision.

As a Support Worker in the team, you will be supported by the multi-disciplinary team to deliver intensive, recovery focussed intervention for individuals presenting with acute clinical needs as an alternative to hospital admission. You will hold positive communication skills, enabling you to be a role model for others, as well as positively representing The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare Trust. Cyber Operations purpose is to support safe care and build public trust by building NHS England's cyber resilience and enabling the wider health system to be cyber resilient, supporting Transformation Directorate's purpose of delivering the best care and outcomes for the NHS.
The Cyber Operations sub-directorate consists of 4 operational areas:
- Cyber Security Operations Unit (CSOU) - SIO
- Cyber Delivery Unit (CDU).

The Cyber Security Analyst (Cloud) role is within the Security Operations pillar of the CSOC (Cyber Security Operations Centre), providing second line cloud security analytics, monitoring and incident response services across cloud-hosted environments and platforms.
Main duties of the job
- Deputise for Senior Analysts in their absence, supporting oversight of cloud security monitoring and response activity.
- Act as an escalation point for Tier 1 Junior Analysts for cloud security incidents, alerts and investigations.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to Tier 1 Junior Analysts to build capability in cloud threat monitoring, investigation and response.
- Keep up to date with the latest security and cloud technology developments, including researching and evaluating emerging cyber threats affecting cloud services and platforms.
- Use advanced analytic tools, including SIEM and cloud security platforms, to identify emerging threat patterns, suspicious activity and vulnerabilities across cloud environments.
- Apply experience and knowledge to support the investigation and triage of cloud security alerts, incidents and anomalous activity.

An excellent opportunity has arisen at The Royal Marsden Hospital to work within the Head and Neck Research Unit as Biological Specimen Coordinator.
The Head and Neck Unit at The Royal Marsden is one of the largest of its kind in Europe and includes one of the largest research teams within the trust. It is recognised worldwide for its strength in diagnosing and treating cancers of the head and neck. The Royal Marsden has now also become the world's first International Centre for Recurrent Head & Neck Cancer (IReC). IReC has an ambitious aim to create a centre of excellence and set international standards in the curative treatment, palliation, and supportive care of recurrent head and neck cancers.
The role of Biological Specimen Coordinator is pivotal, and you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with a variety of staff throughout the Royal Marsden and Institute of Cancer (ICR).
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who must have previous clinical research experience and ability to uphold high standards of clinical trial conduct in accordance with the principles of GCP. In addition, you will have excellent communication, and administrative skills, and be supportive to new initiatives. The successful applicant should have a flexible approach to their duties and the ability to work both as part of the team as well as independently.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will work within the RMHNST and ICR and be responsible for collecting, cataloguing, and processing clinical samples at both Chelsea and Sutton sites.
- Processing, labelling, managing, and tracking the collection and sending of samples in compliance with all current regulations and SOPs.
- Storing samples in the appropriate conditions (e.g., fridges and freezers at -80oC).
- Receiving samples in-house at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust and travelling to collect samples taken elsewhere at the RMHNHST and from the Institute of Cancer Research (within close proximity to both sites).
- Manage the data associated with the collected samples and other archival materials, accurately recording, and tracking each sample.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants who as a team provide high quality therapy intervention to patients across Emergency, Acute General Medicine, Trauma and High Care Unit.
As part of a multi professional team you will identify and undertake a comprehensive assessment of need at the point of hospital admission and deliver rehabilitation interventions to maximise the recovery of patients.
Key areas of responsibility will be:
- Delivery of early therapy intervention post operatively and/or during the first 24 hours of hospital admission.
- Assessment, intervention and treatment of patients with Respiratory Physiotherapy amenable conditions.
- Implementation of programmes that minimise sedentary behaviour during the hospital stay.
- Supporting prevention (where appropriate) and early resolution/management of delirium and other cognitive spectrum disorders through physical and cognitively stimulating activities.
- Collaborating with local health and social care providers to minimise institutionalisation through a 'home first' approach to hospital discharge.
- Supporting and willing to contribute to a 7 day service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide high quality, safe and effective Physiotherapy services to patients across Acute and Emergency Medicine, including Trauma and High Care.
With support of the wider MDT, you will be expected to work collaboratively with patients and their carers to effectively assess, goal plan and treat patients in the Emergency Department and/or following admission to hospital. The post holder will strive to maximise patients' independence and quality of life, working towards the wider Therapy aims of early intervention, active recovery and discharge. The post holder will also provide assessment and intervention to patients with Respiratory Physiotherapy amenable conditions.
The post holder will be involved in student education and supervision, and there are opportunities to be involved in supervising junior members of staff. Support from senior members of the team will be provided and education, training and development is supported. Active participation in quality improvement, clinical audit and research projects will be encouraged to enable relevant and best practice to be delivered.
The ability to work flexibly across 7 days is required.

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a full time permanent Band 3 Screening Officer within the District Nursing Contact Centre.
This opportunity has arisen at an exciting time of development for the team and offers an ideal opportunity to contribute towards and be a part of its evolution.
You will provide a comprehensive support service to the District Nursing Team which is an integral part of the Adult Community Services Division with the Integrated Care Directorate.
You will be responsible for the processing of new referrals and discharging patients via the relevant trust systems. You will be responsible for managing the relevant team Microsoft Outlook inboxes and relaying messages to the clinical co-ordinators in a timely manner.
The service runs Monday to Sunday between the hours of 08:00-18:00 and you will work 5 shifts per week between these hours and days.

Main duties of the job
- To provide a customer friendly, responsive service at all times ensuring all contacts are dealt with confidentially and sensitively
- To screen and process District Nursing referrals by booking clinic appointments or arranging home visits, in a timely and effective manner, following the correct escalation policy when required.
- You will need to input patient information and/ or referrals accurately and efficiently into various database systems and be able to demonstrate attention to detail when handling sensitive personal data.
- You will be required to be an effective team player and be able to work on your own initiative, with excellent organisational skills, prioritising your own workload when necessary.
- To use a range of communication skills to develop excellent working relationships with staff in the team and other users of the service.
- Receive and respond to a range of enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
- To alert the clinicians promptly to urgent referrals and other patient information and to understand and implement escalation processes should they be required
- To deal with patient enquiries with tact and diplomacy
- To prioritise and action incoming and outgoing mail, including email, with the timely dissemination of information as required.
- To demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively using alternative methods when required in order to prevent barriers between staff and patients.
