Job summary
This is an exciting fixed term/secondment opportunity to join the Looked After Children's Team within Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB as a Administration Support Officer. We are seeking a highly motivated person, with excellent organisational and communication skills to join our small team. The post holder must be able to work in a challenging environment and have a sensitive, caring and non-judgmental attitude.The post holder will work within a specific team however, will need the flexibility to work across the service as the need arises.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive, professional and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the team. The post holder will also be expected to liaise in a professional manner with colleagues and partner agencies and undertake a wide spectrum of administrative and secretarial duties.
The post holder will be expected to manage and prioritise their own workload using experience and initiative.
The post holder will work independently to provide a secretarial and administrative office function, adhering to UHB policies and procedures.
This post is fixed term/secondment for until 30 April 2027 to cover a secondment. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work to standard operating procedures to provide a comprehensive, professional and effective administrative support to the Safeguarding & Public Protection Team.
The successful applicant will provide the administration function for the Safeguarding & Public Protection team and maintain the database activity, ensuring the information is readily updated to reflect a true position of all Safeguarding applications.
The post holder is expected to work flexibly to support the Team and to assist other colleagues from within the Safeguarding and Public Protection Team when required.
This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means being able to use Welsh in routine workplace situations, such as greeting customers, answering calls, responding to routine enquiries, providing information, arranging appointments and taking messages. Establish and maintain efficient day-to-day office functions such as filing systems, databases, bring forward systems, training log and communication processes.

Monitor stationary supplies and equipment for the team and replenish stock where necessary, ensuring goods are ordered in line with the UHBs financial procedures.

Dr Mirza & Partners has a vacancy for a fixed-term part-time Medical Receptionist, to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months. The post will commence in October 2026.

Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Breast Imaging
Applications are invited for a fixed term, 6 month, locum consultant post in breast screening, breast symptomatic and general imaging radiology at St George's University Hospitals Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will join a friendly and cohesive team of radiologists with diverse expertise in a busy department that has a strong record of teaching, training and research.
The applicant will work within the existing breast imaging team providing support for the co-located symptomatic and screening services, which are part of the SWL Breast Screening Service. The successful candidate will be expected to have appropriate experience in breast imaging in both the screening and symptomatic settings.
A wide range of experience in general radiology is required.
It is expected that applicants will have the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists and a CCT in Radiology or equivalent training and experience, with specialist accreditation/experience in Breast Imaging.
This post will be 8 PA in total.

This senior post in the National School of Healthcare Science is an exciting opportunity to take a regional leadership role for the Scientist Training Programme for NHS healthcare scientists.
Reporting directly to the Head of School/Deputy Chief Scientific Officer, these posts are senior, highly visible regional leadership roles for scientific training, and will ensure that healthcare science is able to continue to deliver future senior NHS scientists with the necessary scientific, clinical, managerial and leadership competencies. You will be responsible for the continuing development, delivery, innovation, and future strategic direction of this important programme across the scope of healthcare science specialties. The successful post holder will also be expected to lead and develop profession specific workforce transformation priorities when required. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as an Assistant Practitioner within the Generic Health Visiting team in Carmarthenshire.
As an Assistant practitioner you will be working as part of a skill mix team with families in their homes or community settings, as delegated by the Health visitor to improve the overall wellbeing and health of children and families.
To support the best possible outcomes for children and families the Assistant Practitioner will deliver evidence based strategies and key messages from the Healthy Child Wales Programme.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will:
- Undertake home visits to children / families and implement a planned programme of care, report progress / changes to the delegating Registered Practitioner.
- Prepare information packs, making appointments and participating in child health clinics under supervision.
- Give appropriate advice to families regarding childcare e.g. nutrition, sleep problems, and behaviour.
- Follow-up parents / children who default appointments.
- Reinforce key public health messages to children and parents/carers provided by the relevant practitioner.
- Give advice on issues of safety in the home and the local community.
- Facilitate a range of group work.

The facilities team are looking for several bank members of staff to join their team to support the cleanliness and patient feeding services on our wards.

As a Senior Substance Misuse Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, prioritising patient care to develop individualised packages of care through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning
- Deliver a range of treatment options including clinical and psychosocial interventions in both a group and 1-1 setting with recovery at the centre of our healthcare wellbeing model

Job summary
The postholder will work within the Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes service at King's College Hospital, providing clinical care for children and young people with endocrine and metabolic conditions. The post encompasses both inpatient and outpatient commitments and participation in the General Paediatric on-call rota.
This is a replacement post. The remit of the postholder/s will be to work within the multi-disciplinary team providing and further developing care for patients within the service. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the Care Group while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be based within the Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes service and will be expected to:
- Undertake daily review of Endocrine in-patients
- Attend and participate in outpatient Diabetes and Endocrinology clinics (2-3 per week)
- Receive and discuss Endocrine referrals from in-patients admitted under General Paediatrics, sub-specialty teams, and district general hospitals in the region
- Supervise and collate results from in-patient dynamic function tests on the Day Ward (Philip Isaacs Day Treatment Ward)
- Present cases at the monthly Pituitary MDT and weekly Endocrine Team meetings
- Participate in the General Paediatric on-call rota (New Contract Compliant)
- Attend the Transition/Adolescent Clinic (held twice monthly, jointly with adult endocrinology)

Job description
Job responsibilities
The post holder will provide supervised psychological assessment, intervention and support as part of a multidisciplinary team, working within their level of competence and under the direction of qualified psychologists.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical support: Conducts protocol-based assessments, gathers information, assists with psychological formulations, scoring and interpretation of assessments, and delivers supervised psychological interventions such as CBT.
- Patient communication and care: Handles complex and sensitive clinical information, contributes to care planning and maintains high standards of clinical documentation and reporting.
- MDT working: Works collaboratively with psychologists and other professionals, attends MDT meetings and contributes psychological information to support patient care.
- Teaching and consultation: Assists qualified psychologists with staff training, workshops and presentations, and provides psychologically informed advice to other MDT members under supervision.
- Service development: Supports service improvement projects, attends relevant meetings, assists with coordination of volunteers and manages allocated psychological resources and equipment.
- Research and audit: Undertakes literature reviews, collects and analyses research data, supports audit and research projects, and contributes to evidence-based practice using statistical and IT software.
- IT and administration: Uses a range of IT systems for clinical records, data analysis, reports, presentations, psychometric testing and communication, alongside general administrative duties.
- Professional development: Works in accordance with BPS, HCPC and Trust requirements, receives regular clinical supervision, participates in appraisal and CPD, and maintains professional competence.
- Other duties: Prepares clinical and educational materials and undertakes other duties appropriate to the grade as required.

- An upper second class honours degree or higher in psychology
Desirable
- Further post graduate training in relevant areas of professional psychology, mental health practice and/or research design and analysis
Experience
Essential
- Experience of work with people with mental health problems or disabilities, or other relevant problems or disabilities (e.g. learning disabilities, organic impairment).
Desirable
- Paid work in a setting providing direct care.
- Experience of working in inpatient setting.
- Experience of working with people with serious mental illness and/or physical illness
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge
Essential
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to work and effectively communicate complex or sensitive information in highly emotive and emotionally charged settings involving conflict and significant personal distress.
- An understanding of statistical analysis commensurate with an honour's degree in psychology

- Experience using computers and associated software for purposes of data analysis and reporting, including databases and statistical programmes such as SPSS.
- An ability to write articulate and comprehensible reports, letters and other correspondence
