Job summary
Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for an exciting and challenging role, as a Senior Information Governance Officer.
The Information Governance Department processes all applications to access information made under the provisions of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Working with other Senior Information Governance Officers, you will manage a small team of Officers helping to process requests for information, preparing, checking and making disclosures within statutory deadlines.
You will need to be hard working, creative and show flexibility when required to effectively manage the workload of Information Governance Officers.
You will need to prioritise tasks, often in the face of competing demands and have an understanding of how the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000 are applied to these requests.
To succeed in this role; you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop working relationships with staff across the Trust, patients and members of the public.
You must be well organised, be able to manage staff and have excellent computer skills. The ability to work unsupervised with a high degree of accuracy while carrying out a variety of administrative tasks is essential. Full training in data protection and freedom of information law is available.

Main duties of the job
To work with the Information Governance Management team to continually develop and review the services provided.
To be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the department database to ensure that all information requests are processed within the statutory timeframe and that accurate information on all key performance indicators is available for the Information Governance Management team.
To identify efficiency improvements and to implement any training and development needs.
To provide management support for the Information Governance Manager to ensure that the departmental objectives are met.
To support the monitoring of compliance with internal and external governance and best practice requirements in the service.
To support conflict resolution with patients, staff, other internal and external service providers and partner organisations.

We are looking to recruit an experienced delivery driver, with recent delivery driving experience using light commercial vehicles with manual gearboxes, to join our Logistics team.

Main duties of the job
Main duties are to undertake the collection & delivery of NHS cargos including Pathology & Histopathology specimens, pharmacy items, mail, parcels, stock, and medical records, using light commercial vehicles.
The driving of a light commercial vehicle will take up at least 50% of the working day so previous similar experience in delivery driving for work is essential. Previous experience of multi drop work is desirable.
Throughout the course of the day, you will have regular face to face contact with our customers so the ability to communicate politely and effectively at all levels is essential.
You must hold a full UK driving licence for category B vehicles (manual gearboxes) with no endorsements.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust.
We are currently recruiting for two replacement posts to join our supportive team that takes pride not only in delivering clinical excellence but also in fostering an inclusive environment where every member of staff is valued and appreciated.
Both job plans will be weighted more to Gynaecology, but also include an on call Obstetric component, plus other interests to suit the individual applicants & complement the team.

Our department offers a wide range of general and specialist obstetric and gynaecological services, delivered through close collaboration between consultants, doctors, nurses, and midwives. These services include:

Main duties of the job

Successful applicants will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and supporting benign gynaecology services, helping the department reduce long waiting times.
An interest in urogynaecology or vaginal surgery would be welcome, though other complementary subspecialty interests are also valued. The on-call rota covers both obstetrics and gynaecology.
The successful candidates will:-
Deliver high-quality, consultant-led care to patients, with a focus on safety, timeliness and effectiveness.
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff, ensuring robust support and the highest standards of patient care.
Actively engage in rapid assessment, treatment and clinical decision-making processes to support safe and efficient patient journeys.
Participate in the teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff, including direct supervision of junior and specialty doctors.
Contribute to the department's clinical governance agenda, supporting continuous learning and quality improvement through leadership roles.
Adhere to and promote the Trust's clinical and corporate governance policies.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to address service-related issues and support ongoing service development.
About us
The Obstetrics & Gynaecology team is supported by a dedicated group of midwives, nurses and Resident Doctors. The unit includes a dedicated theatre within the labour ward and facilities for water births.
The antenatal clinic is equipped with three ultrasound rooms, a triage suite and a Day Assessment Unit, The Obstetric ward includes a transitional care Baby Unit for infants requiring additional support. A well-established community midwifery team complements the hospital-based services, and approximately 4% of deliveries are planned 'out-of-hospital' births.
Gynaecology Services
The Women's Health Unit houses a Gynaecology Clinic which is fully equipped for colposcopy and minimally invasive surgical procedures. A separate, fully functional Urodynamic Unit provides specialised investigations and care.
The department runs an in-house Termination of Pregnancy Service, an Early Pregnancy Service and a Fertility Clinic, to ensure continuity of care across women's health.
Our Day Surgery Unit is nationally recognised for its innovation and leadership in enhanced recovery practices. As a leading site in the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) initiative, we deliver one of the highest proportions of major gynaecological operations as day case procedures in the country. Main duties of the job
You should have excellent organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills and an ability to work within a team and on your own initiative is essential. You must have the ability to communicate effectively and be flexible within the existing shift system and have an appreciation of the principles of confidentiality.
Working under the direct supervision and guidance of the midwife, you must be a team player, responsible for providing a wide range of care and duties to support women and their families.
The postholder is expected to undertake a set of defined competencies; including the 'care certificate'. This certificate ensures the minimum standards for the role are met and further training will be given to ensure completion of the Level 3 'skills passport' within a given timeframe. The provision of diagnostic assessment services in Respiratory Physiology and the therapeutic monitoring of patients with lung disease and sleep disordered breathing.

Job summary
To undertake various cleaning duties as detailed by the online Supervisor in line with all legislative requirements.
To carry out duties in the various sections of the CPU including preparation and cleaning duties.
Assist in delivery of all frozen and dry goods and participate in the receipt of stores, stock rotation assistance in issuing of stores, heavy equipment etc.
Assist the Porter/Driver in loading and unloading freezer van with racks of food items for distribution.
To complete daily and weekly cleaning of all areas in accordance with COSSH departmental schedules and specifications, using appropriate equipment, chemicals and work methods, tasks to include cleaning of ovens, stoves, wall washing, floor maintenance, high cleaning, freezers & refrigerators etc via scrubbing machines and pressure cleaners.
Main duties of the job
Attend training sessions as and when necessary, and as requested by the General Manager.
Clean and store equipment, provisions, crockery, cutlery and utensils in a safe and hygienic manner and periodic cleaning of areas in accordance with department schedules and specification, tasks to include wall washing etc.
Document and complete temperature forms as required by legislation and to ensure that all documentation duties and procedures are maintained for efficiency and accuracy i.e. temperature of food and equipment.
Observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy and consideration to all staff.
Ensure segregation and prompt removal of waste to designated collection points, in accordance with the University Health Board's Safe Waste Handling Procedure.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned in the appropriate manner, and to follow a cleaning schedule on a daily basis to include the cleaning of floors, walls etc. as requested by the on-line Supervisor/Production Manager.
Be trained to operate the use of dishwasher/pot-wash and equipment associated with wash-up areas, and the use of scrubbing machines and pressure cleaners.
Sterilise equipment that is returned from unit sites in preparation for reissue of products.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join the domiciliary team within the Community Dental Service. The successful applicant will be expected to work as part of the Dental team, preparing and monitoring patients for and during their treatment, providing pre and post-operative instructions.
Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment to provide a high standard of care for patients.
This rewarding role requires working autonomously when anticipating instruments required during procedures carried out by the clinician, mixing materials, and holding instruments in position.

Job summary
1x Full time - 37.5 hours per week (1 WTE)
1x Part time - 22.125 hours per week (0.59 WTE)

Providing nursing care within the ward environment, including acting as a named nurse for a defined group of patients
Assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care in collaboration with patients and their families/carers, ensuring it reflects individual needs and preferences
Accurately observing, communicating with, and engaging service users to assess their needs and evaluate their progress
Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance processes
Monitor and review Nursing Care plans & acting as an advocate for the patients.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a qualified Staff Nurse or newly qualified preceptee nurse who is able to deliver excellent clinical and organisational skills. The post holder will be dynamic and have a clear vision of what excellent patient care looks and feels like.
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Newly Qualified Nursing Preceptee (RMN), you will provide person-centred care by assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating nursing care tailored to patients' individual needs. Monitor patient progress, update care plans, respond to changes in condition, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
Prioritise and delegate nursing responsibilities, maintain professional standards by adhering to safeguarding, medicines management, the NMC Code, and organisational policies. Committed to continuous professional development, you will participate in clinical supervision and strive to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while promoting positive outcomes for patients and their families.
Relevant nursing qualification or preceptee nurse in their first nursing role.
