Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join the Brent and Harrow Community Diabetes Specialist Service. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, supporting a busy specialist service that provides care to patients across the community.
The postholder will provide comprehensive, high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth coordination and day-to-day running of the service. This will include managing team diaries and workloads, booking clinics and patient appointments, processing new referrals, maintaining accurate waiting lists and communicating appointment-related information to patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
You will also support the management of the Diabetes Generic Inbox, responding appropriately to written and verbal enquiries, identifying matters that require escalation and ensuring information is processed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
This role requires someone who can work independently, use their initiative and remain organised while managing competing priorities. You will also support the wider administrative office, provide guidance to temporary staff where required and assist with administrative cover during periods of annual leave or short-term sickness.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a positive, flexible approach to supporting a busy healthcare service.
Main duties of the job
What you'll do:

Manage team diaries, workloads, clinics and patient appointments, maintaining accurate schedules and records.

Process referrals, maintain waiting lists and ensure patient information is managed accurately and within agreed timescales.

Act as a key point of contact for patients, carers and healthcare professionals, providing clear and professional communication.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Clinical Practitioner who is passionate about delivering high quality, patient centred care in a fast paced urgent care environment. You will play a key role in the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with a wide range of conditions, working autonomously while being fully supported by a multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality evidence-based care to patients attending with injuries and undifferentiated health problems.
- The post holder will be expected to work as an autonomous practitioner delivering care to our patients.
- Utilising expert diagnostic skills and clinical reasoning to provide autonomous, unscheduled care for patients presenting with acute undifferentiated conditions (most commonly minor injuries and ailments although some patients attending may present with complex health needs and / or acute on chronic conditions).
- The post holder will deliver care in collaboration with Emergency services, other health care professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies.
- To work in association with colleagues, including doctors and trainee ACPs, in defining standards of care and practice aimed at maintaining, developing or improving quality.
- To work in collaboration with our other CLCH walk in centres/UCCs, including occasional cross cover to other sites.
- To work with the senior staff in the operational management and the organisational development of the service
- Work shifts within the service during the operating hours (Currently 8am-8pm, but noting that this could be subject to change dependent on commissioning requirements)

The team is based in the Leicester Royal Infirmary and provide assessments for over 18's presenting in the acute medical setting with primary or co-morbid mental health problems. The service operates 24/7, days and nights. The Mental Health Liaison Service experiences a high number of referrals which can be complex and challenging. We would require an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced RMN, OT or social worker with relevant post registration experience. You would work as part of the established team and would need to demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to high standards of patient care. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team, review and triage of referrals whilst completing comprehensive patient centred assessments and completing risk assessments.

Support the day-to-day running of the pacemaker service alongside the pacing team, you will be expected to ensure optimum delivery of the pacing service. You will be required maintain awareness of the status of the service as a whole and provide support and, where necessary, personal participation in the work of other sections to ensure the highest possible standards of quality and efficiency are maintained.
Working to Trust and National Guidelines and in cooperation with the Procurement Service, you and the pacing team will also be responsible for ensuring the infrastructure and equipment of the implantation service is maintained in good working order and is adequate for purpose.
You and the pacing team will ensure the service is at the forefront of modern practice by the development, implementation and maintenance of education and monitoring programmes in the field of implantation technology. This will require a substantial personal involvement in the training, mentoring, supervision and assessment of cardiac physiology, nursing and medical staff.
Main duties of the job
Clinical- Generic
1. Support the pacing team with the day-to-day delivery of the pacing service and Implantable devices Service at Manor Hospital, in co-operation with the Cardiologists and Head of Technical Services, Cardiology.
2. Provision to support and oversee Domiciliary patients. Organise pacing staff to attend to these patients as well as occasional home visits.
5. Independently analyses complex data, performs complex calculations and compiles an accurate written technical report.
6 Performs a wide range of non-invasive Cardiac investigations for example ECGs, BP, Holter Monitoring, Exercise Tolerance Testing, Device downloads and device re-programming.
7. Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Cath Labs during Angiograms, PCI, Device implantation and Cardioversions.
8. Promote Physiologist ILR implants - maintain competencies to gain formal written consent from patients.

The T08 side rooms are Negative Pressure therefore we care for patients with a range of infections including TB, potential VHF and infections in returning travellers, and additionally provides the inpatient service to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases. Within the Respiratory bed base T08 cares for patients who have an acute respiratory condition and may require Non-Invasive Ventilation and those who have Tracheostomies.

Job summary
We are looking for a Salaried GP to provide 4-6 general surgeries per week on a Monday, Tuesday and/or Friday, although there will be flexibility for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
The clinical sessions are delivered over our two sites, in Kenton and Benwell respectively, depending on the needs of the Rota. The work timetable includes participation in the on-call Rota (usually 1 full day per week) and the Care Home Ward Round Rota (one session every 2-3 weeks.)
The surgeries will include clinical admin time as well as protected time for supervision of the medical students if necessary. The role will also include up to 2 lunchtime house calls that will have been triaged by the On-call GP. The start and finish times of the surgeries can be flexible to suit individual needs.
The On-call GP covers both sites from 08:30 am-18 pm as the single point of Access and Triage of all house call requests, Urgent queries from the practice team, community and Hospital teams as well as complex medication queries.
We offer a competitive salary (both experience and qualifications will be considered), indemnity paid (in addition to salary) and 6 weeks annual leave. We operate a standard BMA contract which includes protected CPD time pro rata. We support professional development and encourage applications from GPs with special interests.

Betts Avenue is a long-established GP Practice operating over two sites (Kenton and Benwell) in Newcastle upon Tyne.
We are a team of 3 GP Partners supported by 3 salaried GPs, 2 long-term Locum GPs, 1 Advanced Care Practitioner, 1 Lead practice Nurse/Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA as well as an experienced managerial and admin team. We deliver a range of GMS services to a population of approximately 10,500 patients. We also have support from Care-Coordinators, Workflow Team, Pharmacy Hub, PCN pharmacists and Technicians, House Visiting team, our 2 own Practice Pharmacists, a Physiotherapist, 2 Mental Health co-ordinators for adults and a team of Social Link Workers. We use SystmOne, Accurx and AnalyzeRx.
The GPs are also delivering weekly Ward Rounds in two large local Care Homes. We currently teach Year 5 Medical Students and Nursing Students. Our practice is a member of the Inner West Primary Care Network, LMC, NGPS and North East North Cumbria ICB.

The post holder will take part in management and Governance meetings. Much of the work is computer based and involves using spreadsheets and manipulating data, so it is essential to have good IT skills and enjoy computer-based work.
Main duties of the job
Apprenticeship Programme details:
- Apprenticeship Standard - Business Administration, Level 3.
- Level 2 in Medical Terminology.
- Training provider will be DBC & Mediterm Training.
- The programme will be on a fixed term contract for 18 months.
- Salary will be paid at National Apprentice wage, £8 per hour with a yearly salary of £15642.90 for the first 12 months. For the final 6 months, this will change to minimum wage for age.
Eligibility
Candidates must have:
- Maths and English - GCSE grade D or above, grade 3 to 9, or equivalent in Functional Skills at Level 1.

Successful candidates who have a GCSE grade D/3:
- If aged 16 to 18 will be required to complete Functional Skills and achieve level 2.

We have 1x 37.5 hour vacancy to cover maternity leave for a Band 3 Higher Clinical Support Worker to join our team within Outpatients.
The post holder will work as part of the nursing team to assist within Nurse led clinic, perform ECG's, venepuncture and ensure clinics are run smoothly.

Main duties of the job
To work as a Clinical Support Worker as part of the Outpatients department, supporting clinicians to provide a high standard of patient care. To carry out basic admin tasks to support clinicians such as booking patients in and out of clinics, photocopying, making up clinic packs. To do clinical observations of patients prior to their appointments as required e.g. height, weight, ECG's, BP, test urine, venepuncture. To assist within plastics nurse led clinic following training. To communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients and relatives. To recognise and report to clinicians any concerns or changes in the patient's condition.
The post holder will be expected along with other team members to ensure all equipment is cleaned on a daily basis as necessary adhering to the Trust Infection Control Policy.

Job summary
An exciting oppurtunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated individual to take part in a fellowship training programme for Structural Heart Disease.
The fellow will have a dedicated educational supersvisor and regular meetings to ensure educational goals are being met whilst being heavily involved with all aspects of the TAVI pathways and other related activity .
Main duties of the job
The Structural Fellow will be responsible for the medical coordination of the percutaneous valve program, working closely with the Structural Clinical Nurse Specialists and coordinators. This includes arranging admissions for assessment and treatment, attending a weekly outpatient clinic for patient evaluations, and providing daily ward reviews.
The Fellow will receive training in TAVI and TEER procedures, with potential exposure to PFO closure depending on their level of expertise. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to coordinate and conduct research on TAVI and structural heart disease, leading predefined studies in this area. This research is anticipated to result in presentations at national and international conferences, as well as publications in peer-reviewed journals. The Fellow will also maintain and further develop the existing comprehensive database on TAVI patients.
The Structural Fellow's involvement in the coronary intervention service will be determined based on discussions, as priority is given to interventional trainees. However, opportunities may arise to contribute in areas where coverage is needed in the catheterization lab.

Main duties of the job
The Therapy Assistant role provides support and assistance to the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapist during multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment of patients within the clinical team. The role requires excellent communication skills to be able to liaise with patient, families and their carer, as well as the immediate clinical and the wider multidisciplinary team. The Support Services Catering Assistant is responsible to the Hotel Services Supervisor to undertake a range of catering duties, which include the preparation of beverages, snacks, salads, sandwiches, buffets, and cooking of hot meals for both patients and staff within the Health Board. Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit to a Hotel Services band 2 Catering Assistant at Bronllys Hospital for 22.5 hours per week. You will support the local delivery of hotel services catering and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures. You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given. You will be working as part of a rota that can include evenings, every other weekend and bank holidays as they fall.

Neuroscience is a busy specialty that covers Stroke and Neurology patients, we have 2 inpatient wards - Heydon - Hyper Acute stroke Unit and Neurology. Ingham - Acute stroke unit and Neurology. We also have an emergency clinic where we see TIA patients. We have a close working relationship with the NNUH's emergency department where we assess & treat Stroke patients.We are expanding the service in line with NICE guidance and there are exciting times ahead with the development of Thrombectomy and the service development of this at the NNUH.The Neuroscience team is a large team but well-functioning , friendly and supportive.We encourage development and support this.
Main duties of the job
With the development of Neuroscience, this post will enable the individual to be involved with the care of both stroke and Neurology Patients working alongside all the Multidisciplinary team through the whole stroke journey. This post will provide a key element in the stroke team's ability to provide and deliver a comprehensive specialist service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Important aspects of their role will include initial screening of patients with acute stroke and involvement in the decision to administer thrombolysis, acute/hyper acute care immediately after stroke, and in conjunction with medical and therapy staff, ensuring post-acute care and early rehabilitation is optimised for each patient including the timely transfer of care where appropriate.You will also be required to coordinate the patient flow of both stroke and Neurology patient throughout their care pathway- take charge of HASU/ASU- lead the MDT and support junior staff.Management roles you will be expected to undertake will include- staffing/eroster, In phase reports and investigations, PDR's amongst other roles.
