Job summary
22.5 hours per week
Hi, I'm Mike, and I'm delighted that you're considering joining our Medical Staffing team.
I've worked within this service for over three years, and what keeps me here is simple: the people.
We are a supportive, close-knit team that genuinely cares about one another and the work we do. Everyone brings their own strengths, experiences and perspectives, and those differences are valued and celebrated.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact. Medical Staffing sits at the heart of ensuring we attract, recruit and support the doctors who provide care across our Trust. The work is varied, rewarding and often fast-paced, but you'll never be doing it alone. We work collaboratively, share knowledge and support each other to succeed.
At the time of advertising, this role does not meet the minimum requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration to sponsor candidates to work in the UK. For this reason, we are unable to sponsor anyone for a skilled worker visa for this role.
We are happy to accept applications from candidates who can prove their right to work in the UK or via alternative visa routes. Such applications will be considered alongside all other applications.
Main duties of the job
Job descriptions can sometimes feel quite formal, but behind every vacancy is a team, a culture and a group of people who are passionate about what they do. You will assist with rota coordination, liaise with erostering and People Relation colleagues, Medical Education Department colleagues, Occupational health colleagues, as well as medical clinical leads and other internal departments. The role will also involve supporting data reporting (time-to-hire metric), representation from medical recruitment at meetings, and driving service improvement forward.
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and committed to delivering a great service, while bringing their own personality and ideas to the role.
If you're looking for a position where you can develop your skills, be supported by colleagues, and feel that your work genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
If you'd like an informal chat before applying, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
We look forward to welcoming a new colleague to our team.
All employees of the Trust are strongly encouraged to have their up-to-date flu vaccination to protect staff and patients.
About us

Our mission is to help people reach their potential and live well in their communities, we do this by providing high-quality care in the right place at the right time. We employ staff in both clinical and non-clinical services who work hard to make a difference to the lives of service users, families and carers.
We encourage and welcome applications from all protected characteristic groups, we value diversity and want our workforce to be reflective of our communities.
Being a foundation Trust means were accountable to our members, who can have a say in how were run. Around 14,300 local people (including staff) are members of our Trust.
Join us and you will be one of over 4,500 staff committed to supporting and improving the mental, physical and social needs of the thousands of people we meet and help each year.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all colleagues and volunteers to share this commitment.
