Main duties of the job
- Complete the daily shift plan in the agreed time scale, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in line with new NHS Cleaning Guidelines.
- Cleaning is carried out in accordance with recognised approved Trust methods/procedures.
- To participate in the Cleanliness in Hospitals Programme.
- To complete departmental performance monitoring weekly, to achieve and maintain the Trust standard.
- To ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the Trust waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safetystandards are adhered to.

Main duties of the job
- To support the delivery of a GMP compliant manufacturing facility that optimises the regional benefit from the £30 million funding provided by NHSE.
- Provides technical QC advice and support to ensure GMP compliance within the MMC. This includes supporting the Head of Quality Control within MHRA inspections, which are essential for continuity of the MMCs manufacturing licence.
- Responsible for managing the Quality Control chemistry Scientist / Technicians.

To be a physiotherapy clinical expert in the management of patients with renal conditions for Kings College Hospital and provide expert clinical intervention for patients with renal problems.To be responsible for the operational management and clinical leadership of the physiotherapy service in renal outpatients in conjunction with the Physiotherapy Manager and Renal Consultants.

Main duties of the job
- To be responsible for the efficient, effective and safe management of patients referred to the renal physiotherapy service, including those requiring rehabilitation programmes and those with musculoskeletal conditions
- To receive referrals and independently assess and treat own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner.
- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of patients in your care. To ensure a high standard of clinical practice for patients under your management and to support more junior staff to do likewise
- To use advanced clinical assessment and reasoning skills and evidence based knowledge to assess patients with highly complex conditions, and to formulate prognoses and recommendations for the best form of intervention for patients with chronic kidney disease. e.g. management of patients referred to specialist renal weight management clinic and specialist renal rehabilitation programmes

What You'll Do

Ward 4 is a 30 bedded inpatient ward, providing medical care and rehabilitation to older patients and those who have had a stroke.

We have a vacancy for 2x Band 4 Senior Medical Administrator to join our Gastroenterology Department team on a permanent basis. It is essential that the successful applicant is able to work effectively as part of the team supporting and assisting colleagues, whilst prioritising and managing their workload.
Main duties of the job
For the Senior Medical Administrator role you will work within a multi-disciplinary team, and be responsible for a range of duties related to patient pathway management, including, but not limited to: managing outpatient and inpatient waiting lists, validation of patients RTT pathways, rescheduling appointments; diary management; audio transcription and word processing of clinical letters; production of reports and other correspondence as required for the Gastroenterology department.
You should be literate and numerate, with excellent organizational, time management and IT skills and an ability to work without supervision.
Medical secretarial and admin experience is essential. An audio typing test will be required at interview.
You will have a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels. You will have enthusiasm, motivation and demonstrate pride in your work.

The post holder is expected to be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a wide knowledge of ophthalmology services and will work in collaboration with senior leaders from a variety of clinical disciplines within Powys.

The ophthalmology speciality lead will provide medical leadership to the ophthalmology/ophthalmic service to oversee governance and ensure clinical effectiveness and productivity.
This post holder will oversee the deliver high quality ophthalmic/ophthalmology services for Powys Teaching Health Board. They will also be required to provide medical leadership in audit, research and management of the ophthalmology service. The post holder will be required to build a close working relations with other colleagues as part of the multidisciplinary team across both PTHB and commissioned services.
The post holder may be allocated responsibility for clinical supervision directly or indirectly of in reach ophthalmology consultant services and other clinical staff. This will equate to one session per week.
Main duties of the job
- Chair any ophthalmology clinical groups established within the health board and provide speciality leadership representation to the Powys Eyecare Collaborative Group.
- Oversee the continual improvement of the ophthalmology service measured by the standards of the National Planned Care Programme and associated speciality level groups e.g. Clinical Implementation Network for Ophthalmology. Ensure the service is prepared to gain and maintain any relevant service accreditations
- Oversee the development of clinical policies and protocols within the ophthalmology service
- Oversee rolling audit programme for the ophthalmology service with timelines and responsible contributors.
- Ensure safety and quality KPIs for ophthalmology as are reviewed and acted on Provider and commissioned services
- Provide support and expertise in managing Opthalmology underperformance where identified
- Oversee governance review of reported ophthalmology incidents and trend analysis

The Service Desk Officer will provide a proficient NHS GM Digital & IT support service across the customer base.
