Main duties of the job
Undertakes specialised clinical Cardiac Physiological tests on patients to inform clinical diagnosis and interprets results and provides a factual report for all routine investigations. Work independently within scope of practice across two sites (Queen Alexandra hospital and at the Community Diagnostic Centre at St Marys Hospital, Portsmouth).
Undertakes specialised clinical Cardiac physiological tests with indirect supervision, able to lead on specific projects
Undertake departmental audits.
Responsible for self-directed learning.

Job description
Job responsibilities
- Performing 12 Lead ECGs and has a skilled knowledge of ECG interpretation.
- Independently and confidently perform ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, analyses result and provides a comprehensive and accurate report to enable clinical decisions to be made regarding patient treatment.
- Responsible for acting as lead for Exercise ECG testing.
- To be fully conversant with emergency arrest procedures including defibrillation.
- To be part of the Cardiac Cath labs, be expert in routine invasive procedures, including diagnostic angiograms, PCI and primary PCI. Participate in training for EP cases and ablations.
- To be an active part of the 24/7 on call catheter lab team and part of a weekend rota for inpatient work.
- Skilled knowledge in Pacemaker implantation to include VVI and DDD implants.
- Working towards performing a transthoracic Echocardiogram to BSE minimum standards and producing a report to the BSE minimum dataset.
- Act as assistant in TOE (Transoesophageal Echo).
- Experience in the follow up of Reveal devices including remote monitoring and provides comprehensive and accurate report to enable clinical decisions to be made regarding patient treatment. .
- Be competent in the follow up of VVI and DDD pacemakers, working towards follow up of specialised devices.
- Perform remote follow up of Bradycardia pacemakers, working towards more complex devices.
- Have or working towards professional registration.
Management and leadership
- To supervise Band 5 Cardiac Physiologists and Assistant Technical officer staff groups.

We are recruiting band 5 employment specialists to join Dorset Work Matters (DWM), supporting clients across Dorset. These roles are made possible through expansion funding, reflecting commitment to extending specialist mental health employment support.
We currently have the following opportunities available: 1 full-time role covering West Dorset based within a Community Rehabilitation.
DWM is a well-established, high-performing partnership between Dorset Healthcare Trust and Dorset Mental Health Forum. Since 2019, the service has provided evidence-based support to individuals with mental health conditions, helping them secure paid employment through the nationally recognised individual placement and support (IPS) model.
We are seeking motivated specialists to support people with mental health conditions into sustainable employment, working closely with NHS teams, employers and partner organisations. You will build trusting relationships and provide practical, tailored support to help individuals achieve their employment goals, with much of the work being delivered in the community.

Main duties of the job
To undertake weekly face-to-face engagement with local employers to proactively generate tailored job opportunities, including job carving, in line with IPS principles.
Work collaboratively with clients to identify employment goals, develop CVs and application forms, and prepare effectively for interviews.
Support clients in discussing their mental health condition with potential employers, should they choose to disclose.
Provide welfare benefits advice and calculations to help clients make informed employment decisions.
Deliver ongoing in-work support to both clients and employers, ensuring sustainable employment outcomes.
Adhere to the quality standards and compliance requirements of the IPS Fidelity Model, striving to meet or exceed the service's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with Service and IPS Fidelity Model requirements.
Perform a high volume of administrative duties with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting, documentation, and data entry.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
Driving is essential for this role. You will be required to have a full and valid UK driving licence and to travel using own vehicle on Trust business.

Job summary
Two Band 6 (AfC) roles have been added to the safeguarding team to expand the successful Northbank ED Navigator programme across the Humber Bridge to our Emergency Departments on the Southbank.
Working closely with the exiting Navigators, Emergency Department Teams, Violence Reduction Unit and Humberside Police the ED Navigator will support victims of violence who attend the Emergency Department.
These posts are suitable for individuals with a professional healthcare registration, social care registration or significant experience in the police and/or judiciary system.
Main duties of the job
The main aim of the ED Navigator project is to provide additional support for young people within the wider community that attend Humber Health Partnership, Emergency Departments who have experienced violence with injury.The objectives are to facilitate a reduction in hospital admissions, serious violence and domestic homicides especially among those aged 11- 35 years who have been identified as being impacted by serious violence. This will be achieved through support and guidance to encourage engagement with services and promote movement away from violence.
The post holder will offer specialist advice, advocacy, emotional support and information to victims of violence and their next of kin, dependents or associates when dealing with highly distressing circumstances such as issues around Safeguarding Children or Adults at risk. In addition to being emotionally available to offer support to the Emergency Department staff should using a trauma informed approach.

Job summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced and accredited Anti-Crime Specialist to join the 360 Assurance bank for a fixed-term period to cover an increase in demand. This is an opportunity to support NHS and wider public sector clients in the delivery of high-quality counter fraud services, helping organisations prevent, detect and respond effectively to fraud, bribery and corruption, as well as related risks.
The post holder will work with a high degree of autonomy, while remaining part of a supportive and experienced anti-crime team.
Applicants should be accredited as a Counter Fraud Specialist or hold an equivalent qualification acceptable to NHS Counter Fraud Authority requirements. You will need practical experience of counter fraud work, strong investigative and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities across a range of client environments.
This fixed term post would suit a professional who can work flexibly, independently and to a high standard, while maintaining confidentiality, discretion and a strong customer-focused approach. Travel to client sites across the Midlands and South Yorkshire may be required.

Main duties of the job
oProduce and deliver risk based operational work plans of counter fraud and/or security management activity for each client and develop and implement an ongoing programme of work to help deter and prevent fraud, bribery and corruption and/or security breaches across a number of clients.
oDevelop, co-ordinate and undertake proactive work (mandatory, local and ad-hoc) to detect cases of potential fraud, bribery and corruption, and/or deter and prevent security breaches utilising appropriate intelligence and IT facilities, particularly where system weaknesses have been identified.
oUndertake work to create and maintain an anti-crime culture, by establishing a baseline awareness and by proactively developing and delivering appropriate presentations and publicity material, including details of ongoing and completed work, to raise anti-crime awareness and reinforce the message that fraud, bribery and corruption and security breaches are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. The use of local and national media should be considered for publicising successful criminal prosecutions (after taking appropriate advice from NHS Counter Fraud Authority).
oUndertake professional investigation of appropriate cases of suspected fraud, bribery and corruption and/or security breaches including production of case files and evidence in appropriate formats.

Job summary
The Clinical Beds team provides holistic assessments to patients who require a period of rehabilitation and assessment prior going home after being discharged from hospital.
We work closely as a multidisciplinary team alongside our partner services such as Adult social care and continuing health care to aid patients and families make long term decisions about their health and social care needs.

Main duties of the job
You will need to demonstrate high standards of evidence based clinical practice, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to prioritise your workload, manage your time effectively, and work flexibly within the team.
You will carry out profession specific, and holistic, assessments and evaluations as required to promote independence and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. You will be part of the multi-disciplinary team; planning and developing goal focused rehabilitation/reablement programme for adults with a wide variety of complex physical and mental health needs in community beds.
Alongside the multidisciplinary team the successful candidate with plan and develop goal focus rehabilitation/reablement programmes for adults with a wide variety of complex physical and mental health needs, while the individuals are having a period of assessment and/or rehabilitation with the aim to facilitate discharge into an appropriate setting
The ideal candidate will be an experience occupational therapist with knowledge and experience of community services, you will need to be able to prioritise your workload, have excellent communication skills and be able to build therapeutic relations with our partner services such as adult social care and continuing health care.

Pharmacy Assistants may work in all sectors of the hospital pharmacy, invariably on rotation according to the needs of the pharmacy service. Duties include technical tasks according to relevant NVQ accreditation as well as housekeeping and other non-technical activities.
Pharmacy Assistants work under the direction of section/team leaders or pharmacists in accordance with all written procedures.
Pharmacy Assistants support other pharmacy staff in provision of pharmacy services and assist with limited training of relevant staff. Some sections of this job description may be more relevant than others for some individuals.
Pharmacy Assistants must complete an NVQ2 in pharmacy services (if not already held) within a specified timescale. This is a rotational role in stores and distribution and will include dispensary training to allow the successful candidate to complete logs and validations for weekend working.

Main duties of the job

- To provide a multi-trade maintenance service supporting electrical, mechanical and fabric disciplines across the Trust estate.
- To carry out routine inspections, fault finding, basic testing, repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with departmental procedures, safe systems of work and relevant Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs).
- To assist skilled craftsperson's, supervisors and specialist contractors with maintenance, repair and improvement works.

We are looking for applications from HR Professionals to join our team on a Part Time (30 hours). Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working in a Complex Psychosis Team within the Assertive Outreach Pathway, taking responsibility to assess, plan and coordinate the care plan and treatment of a defined caseload of service users with complex needs related to psychotic illnesses.
The Complex Psychosis Teams are a multidisciplinary, community-based service responsible for providing on-going holistic assessments, treatment and support to clients with severe and enduring mental illness living in the community. The service will enable patients with severe mental health problems to be supported and cared for in the community in the least restrictive setting through an assertive, personalised and integrated approach to care and treatment.
The service will provide an intensive community-based mental health service delivered in service users' home environments and in supported living accommodation or other locations agreed with the service user utilising "A whole system approach" to recovery from mental ill health. The approach maximizes an individual's quality of life and social inclusion by supporting engagement, encouraging their skills, promoting independence and autonomy in order to give them hope for the future which leads to successful community living through appropriate support

Join our dedicated team as an Equipment Delivery Driver at Hampshire Equipment Services (HES), supporting adults and children across Hampshire who need additional care. Youll deliver, build, and install medical equipment for people with disabilities and those recently discharged from hospital. The current working hours for this position follow a current pattern of Monday Friday, 8.30am 4.30pm, with a 4pm Friday finish.
Our Service runs 7 days a week, 365 days of the year, therefore youll be required to participate in the on-call weekend and bank holiday rota during office hours, working a rotational 1:12 basis, for which enhancements are paid.

Job summary
To assist in the provision of the scientific service commitment of the laboratory in line with Trust objectives and commensurate with grade and responsibilities.
To take receipt, check and prepare samples for analysis for the Blood Sciences Department, under the direction of the Reception Supervisor.
To provide an efficient confidential and courteous telephone enquiry service to laboratory users, clinicians and patients.
To carry out data entry of all patient demographics and test requirements for laboratory specimens.
To support day to day operation of Pathology Stores ensuring a timely and efficient delivery of consumables to relevant clinical areas.

The post holder will fulfil all tasks and work as part of the Blood Science team.
To meet the needs of the service, the post holder may be required to work in other areas as appropriate as directed by the Line Manager.
Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday. The position will include rotational day weekends, evenings and public holiday work. Flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave is essential.
