This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Neonatal team, helping protect and support some of our most vulnerable patients -- newborn babies requiring specialist care.
We are recruiting 3 Coordinators at Heartlands Hospital and 1 Coordinator at Good Hope Hospital.
As a Ward Services Coordinator, you have a vital role, ensuring our clinical teams have the equipment, supplies and resources they need to deliver outstanding care. From managing stock levels and maintaining equipment to organising documentation, milk supplies and the safe storage of medicines, your contribution will directly support the wellbeing of babies and their families.
We are looking for individuals who are organised, reliable, physically active and passionate about delivering an excellent service. You'll work alongside a friendly, skilled team and collaborate closely with existing Ward Services Coordinators to keep our neonatal units running smoothly.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, Monday to Sunday.

Main duties of the job
The Ward Coordinator will work in a clinical environment where new born babies are admitted for treatment. Although you will not be delivering direct patient care you will need to conduct yourself with professionalism and compassion at all times.
You are valued member of our team who is depended on to ensure clinical staff have access to essential stock, equipment is clean and serviced when required, the clinical area is safe and free from hazards and families have access to supplies during their admission.
You will be responsible for maintaining the storage and organisation of equipment and stock within the designated areas, reviewing stock levels and expiry dates, ordering additional supplies using an IT ordering system and supporting the clinical staff to ensure the environment and equipment is clean and working appropriately.
You will complete designated competency-based training session in medicines management to ensure stocks of pharmaceuticals are maintained at agreed levels and are kept in secure and appropriate storage areas in accordance with Trust policy.
You must adhere to infection control guidelines and ensure that the safety of the babies is priority

This is a part-time opportunity - 22.5 hours per week
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a friendly, customer-focussed Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. Reception duties include greeting service users, carers, staff and visitors and answering queries via telephone and email. The ability to remain calm and communicate clearly is essential as well as promoting a positive culture for older people living with mental health issues.

You will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary Community Team, will be responsible for the clinical and operational day to day service delivery, providing a high quality health & social care service to adults of all ages having First Episode Psychosis (FEP). Job summary
To work within the Learning Disability and Forensic (LD&F) directorate across LD inpatient services based at Little Plumstead Hospital, with the majority of their clinical caseload at the Broadland Clinic. The post holder will also work across Norfolk within the Norfolk Forensic Community LD (NFC-LD) team and Intensive Support Service (ISS). This is a part time (0.6 WTE) post based in the Hertfordshire area with some opportunities for remote working. The ability to travel independently between different MHST base locations to fulfil the requirements of the post is essential.
We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible, motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Psychologist with the genuine passion and skills to support both children and young people, parent/carers and the wider workforce.
This role will provide clinical leadership and oversight within the MHST, including service development, improvement and quality evaluation whilst building outstanding supportive and responsive relationships with colleagues across the Hertfordshire system.
The role will include supporting school engagement, staff recruitment and retention, monitoring clinical outcomes and data, and supporting participation.
The Team Clinical Lead will be responsible for the systematic provision of a highly specialist clinical / counselling psychology service to clients of the MHST multi-disciplinary team, as well as contributing to the provision of evidence-based therapeutic intervention across the MHST service (for example CBT and systemic practice).
Main duties of the job
To oversee the formulation and treatment and management plans for schools, parents, children, and young people being supported by the MHST - using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service, both individual and group.
To support MHST clinical supervisors and team leaders in their task of overseeing the formulation, treatment and management plans for schools, parents, children, and young people being supported by the MHST practitioners using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service; individual and group.
To provide clinical/professional supervision to less experienced practitioner psychologists, trainee clinical psychologists, and non-psychologist colleagues within the MHST.
To provide placements to trainee clinical/counselling psychologists.
As a senior leader working in partnership with schools and school leaders, supporting children, young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their families in the self-management of presenting difficulties.
Work in partnership with schools, children, young people, and families in the development of plans for the intervention and agreed outcomes.
To support and empower children, young people, and families to make informed choices about the intervention.

As a Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographer in Velindre Radiology, you will have the opportunity to work in a small and friendly department and participate in major imaging modalities including MRI, CT and Digital Radiography. Previous experience at working in MRI or CT and Digital radiography is essential.

Main duties of the job
To have excellent knowledge surrounding radiographic techniques and procedures as well as broad knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, specifically in the field of Oncology as a speciality.
Competent (with annual assessment) in multiple imaging modalities
To perform a range of radiographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images ensuring patients receive a radiation dose as low as reasonably practicable when producing these images.
To provide support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs.
To work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that an efficient service is provided to patients, for example by sharing specialist knowledge and expertise.
To be able to recognise clinically significant conditions and signs of deterioration, escalating where necessary to appropriate support teams.

The Device engineer is focused on the annual hardware refresh of the enduser device estates across the Trust over a four-year period.

We are a busy and friendly department. There will be plenty of variety in this job and you may spend time in our Clinical, Medicines@Home and procurement & distribution services. A typical day may consist of dispensing medicines for patients, topping-up stocked medication on wards or processing prescriptions for our care closer to home settings.
We will train you in all aspects of the role, so whilst hospital pharmacy experience is welcomed, it is not essential. We are looking for the right candidate, who is team player and eager to learn.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
You will participate in weekend and bank holiday rotas as required.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the collection, management and reporting of rehabilitation outcome data for The Walton Centre's Network Hub and Spoke Units through the UK Rehabilitation Outcomes Collaborative (UKROC) database. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection, accurate input and maintenance of patient outcome data, helping to support service performance monitoring, national reporting requirements, audit activity and continuous quality improvement. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Band 5 Paediatric Nurse to join our team on Lion Ward, part of The Children's Surgical Ward here at Kings College Hospital.
You must be a Registered Children's Nurse with excellent clinical skills, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to providing high standards of care for all our paediatric patients, their families and carers.

Lion Ward is a 10 bedded fast paced, paediatric Neuro-Surgical ward, caring for children and young people with varying neuro-surgical conditions, including those with brain tumours, spinal cord defects and hydrocephalus requiring shunt insertions or External Ventricular Drains. As a major trauma centre, we also receive trauma patients such as those with traumatic brain injuries.
Within these 10 beds, Lion Ward also has 2 beds allocated for Neuro Rehabilitation. This provides an excellent opportunity to work with the wider MDT. We also offer Telemetry on the ward.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced candidate to join our busy multi-disciplinary team; working alongside paediatric and adult professionals to deliver care and support to children, young people and their families living with HIV. Close relationships will be required with the adult service and health advisors ensuring support from pregnancy through to young adulthood.
We offer support to children, young people and their families across the West Midlands Region and work closely within a National Network.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in supporting children, young people and their families with complex social needs and a long-term health condition; in particular HIV.
HIV is recognised as a long-term, manageable health condition however the patient living with HIV requires support with physical, emotional and psychosocial needs. This role requires a candidate who is confident, enthusiastic and sensitive to the needs of families.
This is a highly specialist service, we encourage informal visits/ contact prior to application or interview for further information
Main duties of the job
This role is part of a wider support team caring for our caseload of children and young people. You will work alongside our lead Clinical Nurse Specialist, and the MDT to ensure best practice and safe care.
Our successful candidate will be able to identify individual needs and develop a programme of targeted support or access to services designed to help children, young people and their families. This will include support with practical skills, direct work with children, liaison with professionals and working alongside health visitors, children's social care services, education and other agencies both statutory and voluntary. Support will be needed alongside appropriate referral to supportive agencies and charities.
This role requires knowledge of current asylum and immigration Policy, benefits available to families and understanding of local housing processes.
Excellent communication skills are essential as is being committed to delivering high-quality care to children in their own communities. Good team working and interpersonal skills are required as is an ability to manage your own time and lone work for periods of time.
The role is predominantly office based at Heartlands Hospital but will include community visits and lone working. Accurate electronic record keeping, management of clinical records, requesting relevant tests and clinical letters will be a part of the daily routine in this role; therefore, a good level of IT awareness and skill is required.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
We are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to work on our complex multi-specialty surgical 36-bedded ward on Harborne Hospital Level 4 (part of CDG 9A).
This ward cares for patients who are one step down from critical care and EPOC who have had surgery for Colorectal, Upper GI, Sarcoma and Urology conditions.
Previous surgical ward experience in an acute secondary NHS care setting is essential for this role, and you must also demonstrate a passion for post-operative care and ERAS recovery.
We are looking for nurses with the skills to thrive within a fast-paced environment and the ability to cope under pressure.
We work closely with our surgical and specialist nursing teams to develop a multi-disciplinary approach which shapes and provides high class surgical care for our patients.

Main duties of the job
You will care for patients who have undergone complex or challenging surgery under one of our four specialities (colorectal / upper GI / urology / sarcoma). Many of your patients will have had a stay in ITU or EPOC after their surgery and may have a long recovery time on the ward - many of your patients will have life-altering outcomes from their surgery.
Responsible for between 6 and 9 patients, you will ensure accurate records are kept and appropriate action is taken to ensure good recovery and safe & timely discharge. You will act promptly and take effective action if any of your patients become critically unwell.
You will act as an advocate for your patients, ensuring a patient-focused approach to the delivery of care. You will need to communicate clearly and effectively with your patients, their relatives or carers, and other members of the MDT.
Student Nurses are regularly placed on the ward; you will help with their training and development whilst ensuring safe practice is always maintained. You will also undertake your own additional skills development and training.
Daily expectations include - effective handover, prompt escalation of deteriorating patients, compassionate care, clear communication, teamwork, attention to detail and excellent clinical practice.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work with Older Adults presenting with communication difficulties and dysphagia within the Slough and Bracknell OPMH Community Services. The teams support patients with both dementia and functional mental health difficulties.

- Responsible for the accurate preparation, planning and delivery of treatment by self
- Participate as part of the team in the organisation of the radiotherapy work base.
- Be able to operate all equipment safely and efficiently as per manufacturers instructions, including local guidelines.
- Meet the regulatory responsibilities defined for an operator as delegated by the Trust under the IR(ME)R regulations.
- Analyse and approve planning images and verification images following designated training and adhere to guidelines.
- Be responsible for accurate record keeping and that information required for statistics is provided as required by self.
- Participate in day to day and weekly quality control of equipment at the work base in accordance with ISO 9001 documentation.
- Comply with department ISO 9001 quality assurance programme.
- Participate in ongoing clinical audit procedures as required.
- Responsible for assessing daily each patients fitness for radiotherapy procedure.

Essential
- HCPC registration as a therapeutic radiographer (requires BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy or equivalent accredited programme
Experience

- Experience (including as a student) of sophisticated RT equipment treating advanced techniques in a complex department, including understanding of IGRV, IMRT and imaging technologies
Desirable
- Have experience (including as a student) in paper light/paper free radiotherapy processes
- Have participated in research/audit/service evaluation.
Skills/Ability/Knowledge

- Be an effective communicator using both written and spoken English; as will be required to manage sensitive information in situations that will require diplomacy and empathy.
- Display strong organisational and time management skills, and ability to prioritise tasks.

- Computer literate with associated keyboard skills
