Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced research or operational manager to join Radiology Research and the Artificial Intelligence Imaging Hub at The Royal Marsden.
Working closely with the AI Imaging Hub Directors and the Head of Investigator Initiated Trials, the Senior Scientific Manager will provide senior operational management and coordination across a multidisciplinary portfolio of imaging and AI research. The role will support study set-up and delivery, portfolio and financial oversight, governance and procedures, funding applications, workforce development and collaboration with academic, NHS and industry partners.
We are looking for someone with substantial experience of research management, trial management or operational delivery in a clinical, scientific or academic environment, including portfolio, budget and reporting responsibilities. Experience of line management and multidisciplinary working, together with knowledge of clinical research governance and regulatory requirements, is essential. Experience of imaging, radiology, nuclear medicine or AI-enabled research would be advantageous.
Main duties of the job
- The Senior Scientific Manager will support the Directors in the operational management and coordination of the Radiology Research Group and Artificial Intelligence Imaging Hub, working across scientific, clinical and research support teams.
- The post holder will coordinate the people, processes and partnerships needed to deliver agreed imaging and AI research priorities and support the safe translation of digital tools for patient benefit.
- The post holder will support an effective and inclusive working environment, including staff induction, development, recruitment and retention, within agreed workforce plans and delegated authority.
- The post holder will coordinate engagement with academic and industry partners, identify funding and collaboration opportunities, and advise the Directors on operational requirements. Strategic and scientific direction and final decisions will remain with the Hub Directors.

The North Thames Regional Environmental Control Equipment Service (NT RECES) is a regional service which provides specialist equipment to enable clients to access appliances in their homes, such as TV, lights, telephone and pagers to call for assistance as well as means to access computer technology devices.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant for this role will be expected to travel throughout the Service area of the base at Mount Vernon Hospital, covering North London (West Central and East), Hertfordshire and Luton, supporting those referred to the service, working as part of a multi-disciplinary Team, to ensure the safe and effective provision of EAT equipment.
The role will involve working under the supervision of clinicians in the team to support clients, carers and healthcare professionals in using the technology supplied, either in the clients' own home or in residential settings. Following their own induction, the post holder will provide user training and tuition to support client with the EAT equipment provided to them. Feedback will be reported back to the referring clinician.
The post holder will be responsible for their own caseload as well as supporting the other Therapy staff of the team in the care of those referred to and accessing the service.
The applicant will need to have experience of supporting people with physical disability.
This post offers opportunity for those with an interest in technology to develop clinical skills in Electronic Assistive Technology. Many clients present with complex multi-pathologies and role includes developing an understanding of the impact of these conditions.
This post is available as a full time post, but applicants will also be accepted for appropriate part time working and with potential for some flexibility in working hours.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. Assist the Pharmacist Team Leader Medicines Value in the development and delivery of a medicines value improvement programme with the remit of maximising value for money, assuring cost effective prescribing and medicines management.

The primary role of the Senior Community Nurse is to provide strong holistic leadership to the team and support the Community Matron. To include day to day leadership responsibilities, development and creative leadership, responsive leadership, enabling the team to achieve a 'well led' culture.

This role does not involve commissioning services on behalf of the Local Authority, however we can support our Adult Social Care partners with this process, by providing health-based assessments of mental health needs. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our developing integrated community services providing clinical triage, rehabilitation, falls management, palliative care support and support timely discharges from our acute Trust partners.
You will work autonomously as well as part of the multi-disciplinary team, liaising closely with health and social care colleagues to coordinate services, promote recovery from illness and enable health, wellbeing and self-care. You will be visiting patients within their own homes using a goal-orientated focus, to maximise patient's independence, safety and quality of life.

Main duties of the job

As a Specialist Clinical Fellow, you will be involved in the initial assessment and resuscitation of sick patients including emergency procedures and investigations. The role requires that the job holder follows the duties laid out by the Caf Supervisor in the day-to-day operational management of the caf. You'll be expected to treat visitors and staff in a welcoming, friendly and efficient manner, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You'll be working as part of a motivated team in Courtyard Restaurant.
The job holder will assist the Supervisor to expand and/or make recommendations for improving standards and enhancing the service to all customers. This would be through quality initiatives and by looking at ways of maximising good customer care and income generation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Ward Host Supervisor to join the Catering Team at Frimley Park Hospital.
This is a rewarding role where you will play an important part in enhancing the patient experience by helping to deliver a high-quality ward catering service across the hospital. Main duties of the job
- Support the Food Service Manager (FSM) in delivering a professional and patient-focused ward catering service across Frimley Park Hospital
- Supervise, motivate and support Ward Hosts to ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Clinical Application Analyst with experience in Diagnostic Radiology to join our Clinical Applications Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for staff with strong application knowledge who want to take on specialist-level responsibilities, lead improvement activity and support the development of our digital capability across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

- As a HCPC Registered Diagnostic Radiographer, the postholder will utilise their clinical expertise and knowledge of diagnostic imaging workflows to support service development, digital transformation and optimisation of imaging applications.

Job summary
The Regional Rehabilitation and Mobility Service (RREMS) provides clinical engineering expertise to 12 wheelchair services across the North-east of England and North Cumbria. In addition to this post, the team comprises 12 Clinical Technologist in Rehabilitation Engineering, 2 Rehabilitation Engineering Technologists and 6 administrative staff. This position is based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
The responsibilities of RREMS Clinical Technologists include undertaking engineering modifications to wheelchairs, specifying and providing powered wheelchairs, and providing the technical, biomechanical and safety related input to multidisciplinary wheelchair service teams. The service also works closely with the Approved Wheelchair Repair Contractor.

Main duties of the job
RREMS Clinical Technologists specialise in the provision of Rehabilitation Engineering which is the clinical application of engineering principles and technology within the aim to restoring or improving the physical, mental and social wellbeing of 70000 NHS wheelchair users (of which approx. 4000 have powered wheelchairs) and their carers to their maximum potential.
Applications are invited from candidates with a degree level qualification or have equivalent experience in an appropriate discipline and have demonstrable relevant experience having completed a recognised engineering or technical apprenticeship or training course. In addition, the post holder will be required to be enrol onto IPEM Clinical Technologist Training Scheme, which will result in professional registered as a Clinical Technologist with RCT or AHCS.
RREMS Clinical Technologists work independently, or as part of multidisciplinary teams, providing specialist engineering services and technical knowledge enabling patient care.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist to join our friendly community team. Purpose:

The Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS) is an innovative alternative to A&E for people in mental health crisis. The Service was recognised for Excellence in Mental Health at the UK NHS Parliamentary awards. The service covers the emergency mental health pathway for North Central London, this includes the boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.
We are looking for support workers with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care. The service provides an initial assessment of mental health needs. From this initial assessment there are a variety of pathways including referral to secondary services, crisis teams, crisis houses admissions, admissions to hospital and referrals to non-statutory services who offer specialists input. The service promotes community health and well-being and social inclusion.
Successful candidates will be expected to work a 7-day rota, as part of a 24/7 service, covering several different sites if needed. This will include night duties and unsocial hours on a long-day shift pattern.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Support Worker will be responsible for participating and assisting in the delivery of care for service users in MHCAS. This includes supporting carers, families and other professionals of those being cared for by the team during their assessment processes.
They will be expected to work a 7-day rota, as part of a 24/7 service, covering several different sites if needed. This will include night duties and unsocial hours on a long-day shift pattern.
They will carry out a range of clinical support tasks, including direct patient interactions, risk assessment under supervision from senior staff, and delivering care interventions as identified as part of the service user's care plan. They will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent, compassionate and sensitive care to people and their social network.

The post holder will be required to support the delivery of care currently in the form of New Models of Care, enabling the service to meet the London Wide service specification standards for Prison Healthcare.

To provide a qualified specialist psychology service to patients under the care of the Mental Health team and Therapies Service within the Prison. Provide specialist psychological assessments using psychometric tests, self-reports, observations, and interviews. Formulate evidence-based treatment plans for complex mental health and behavioural needs across care settings. Provide expert guidance and consultation to multidisciplinary teams, contributing to shared psychological frameworks and service-wide understanding.
