Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for an Administration Officer to work in the Staffing Solutions Team, St Nicholas Hospital, Newcastle.
The Staffing Solutions Service offers one of the most flexible ways to work within the NHS. We recruit high quality temporary staff to our Banks to work across a variety of services in a wide range of specialities across the Trust to meet staffing shortfalls due to sickness, annual leave, maternity leave or short-term vacancies. The Staffing Solutions team is responsible for maintaining a responsive service to wards and community teams, supporting the facilitation of bank and agency usage. We also ensure that Bank and Agency workers are fully compliant with Trust regulations and requirements, including DBS, Mandatory Training, Professional Registration and Eligibility to Work in the UK.
The ideal candidate should:
- have experience of working with Microsoft packages and electronic record systems
- have excellent customer care and communication skills
- have a good working knowledge of office procedures
Main duties of the job
- Answering phone calls and emails from Trust colleagues, Bank workers and Agency providers
- Monitoring and maintaining worker compliances in line with Trust regulations and requirements
- Using Allocate to manage Bank and Agency worker shift bookings
- Processing Agency worker compliance checklists
- Supporting with new starter processes for Bank workers
- Ordering uniforms for workers

Main duties of the job
You will play a key role in the operational management of a large administrative and secretarial workforce within CDG 5 including teams in medical specialties - Respiratory, Cardiology, General Medicine, Diabetes & Endocrinology and in Surgical Specialities - Gastroenterology & Endoscopy and Colorectal & General Surgery.
You will lead administrative teams overseeing recruitment, induction, training, appraisal, attendance management & staff development. We are seeking a compassionate and approachable leader who is committed to staff wellbeing, development and creating a positive, inclusive working environment.
This is a busy, varied and rewarding role that would suit an experienced administrator & people manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading large teams, and is passionate about delivering excellent services.
Responsibilities include coordinating workloads, rotas & annual leave, ensuring services are appropriately resourced and performance standards are achieved. You will monitor activity, support workforce planning, analyse performance information and contribute to service improvement.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible, and conscientious Maintenance Worker to join the service delivery team.
The vacancy will be working in the conurbation of East and West Dorset including Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne, Weymouth, Dorchester, Bridport and up to Sherborne.
As a full-time Maintenance Worker, you would be part of 50 strong team delivering electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance services in all our premises across Dorset. These include minor injury units, inpatient hospitals, community clinics and offices.
The successful applicants will need to hold and maintain a full UK driving license and will be provided with a trust vehicle (tracked 24/7 and for work use only).
The Maintenance Worker post includes a Recruitment and Retention Premium, and on-call allowance, as well as enhanced pay for over-time working, flexible working opportunities and entry to the NHS pension scheme. Uniform, all personal protective clothing, and basic hand tools are also provided.

Main duties of the job
There will be training and mentoring opportunities for developing the skills required in the role, some of which will require overnight attendance at various training venues.
Maintenance Workers need to be flexible in their approach and be able to work as part of a team, prepared to adjust and change plans at short notice and react to incidents as they occur in a calm, caring and supportive manner. Maintenance Workers may also be required at times of high demand, to work over-time at short notice.
As a Maintenance Worker you will need to possess good communication skills both written and verbal, have good IT skills, and be able to participate in an out of hours on-call service.
To undertake routine statutory and mandatory planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities across all Trust sites
Work alongside and provide immediate support to your operational colleagues which include electricians, mechanical fitters, carpenters and building operatives, as well as clinical staff and managers.
Liaising with contractors.
Be prepared to work in hazardous areas taking all safety measures to prevent danger and avoid injury and damage to equipment.

The community nursing service is commissioned to provide a 24/7 service. The core hours are between 08.00 -16.30 hours, early and late shift patterns are also part of the working week. Applicants will be required to participate in working other shifts as part of the role including weekend and bank holiday working on a rotational basis.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Palliative and End of Life Care team at Great Western Hospital.
The post holder will work as part of the Palliative and End of Life Care team providing advice and support to patients, families and staff across the Trust. The role includes supporting patients with complex palliative and end of life care needs, helping to ensure patients and those important to them receive high quality, compassionate care.
The team works closely with ward teams, discharge services and community partners to support patients who may wish to be discharged to their preferred place of care. We are seeking a friendly, self- motivated and dynamic individual to join our team providing clinical care within our Short Stay Paediatric Assessment Unit (SSPAU) at Northumbria Hospital. The SSPAU includes a Paediatric Emergency Department and a Short Stay Unit, providing care for children and young people across Northumberland and North Tyneside.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and expert clinical practitioner in the acute care of children, young people and their families. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
The Children's Emergency Care Unit and 14 bedded short stayfacilitycaters for children aged 0-16 years who require emergency assessment and treatment with a 24 hour inpatient facility if required.
We also provide supportto medical staff in clinicand day case settingsat North Tyneside General Hospital andWansbeck General Hospital.
Successful candidates will be able to access preceptorship, clinical supervision and a suite of training and development opportunities to equip them to work in an emergency care environment and further their careers.

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our housekeeping team on a 12-month maternity cover post. The role will be based at Maple Lodge, located in Fishtoft on the outskirts of Boston, two miles from Pilgrim Hospital, and offers 15 mixed gender rehabilitation beds for adults.
It provides a full residential rehabilitation service to support and enable the recovery of our service users.
You will be part of a team that works closely with your colleagues to ensure that service users are cared for in a clean and comfortable environment. The role will include various cleaning duties.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential. NVQ in support services and basic food hygiene certificates are desirable, but training can be provided. Previous experience of working within a hospital/caring environment would be preferable.

Job summary
The Sheffield Adult Autism Neurodevelopmental Service is based at Lyndhurst Road.(SAANS) which provides assessment ,diagnosis and multi-disciplinary interventions with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder(ASD) (including disorders formerly known as Asperger's Syndrome) and associated neurodevelopmental disorders including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) SAANS also provides a national assessment and diagnostic service as well as follow-up appointments and counselling subject to funding by the clients local Clinical Commissioning Group.
Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. Job summary
It is an exciting time to join Salisbury Emergency Department as a Band 7; we are in a period of transition within the UEC team. This gives you the unique opportunity to shape the changes in emergency care and pathways to feel the tangible differences you can make.
We are continuing to look to develop our services and care we provide within Urgent and Emergency care including looking at developing a co-located Urgent Treatment Centre
There are also opportunities to expand on leadership skills as you will be responsible for a junior team and OD&P elements of managing junior staff. A band 7 development program is currently being designed, you will have opportunity and support to train and work alongside the coach house in change management, to broaden your experience.
Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust serves a mostly rural population; we are also a designated Trauma Unit with a track record in handling major incidents successfully which offers a varied and challenging patient workload, and the number of attendances is growing. We currently see approximately 50,000 patients per year.
Main duties of the job
You will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in emergency nursing and be able to translate this into effective nursing practice. You will need to be a team player, have proven leadership abilities, be energetic, proactive and committed to your own professional development and that of others.
You will be working in partnership with the ED Matron to manage and provide leadership to the nursing team. Working collaboratively with the Lead Clinician and ED Service Manager, as well as the wider ED Senior team, to continuously improve and develop the service.

Main duties of the job
The Radiology Service delivers a diagnostic and treatment service to approximately 600,000 patients a year across 6 sites, the Ultrasound department is a major contributor to these examinations.
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the Ultrasound department, carrying out policies and procedures as specified by the Trust and Radiology Management Team.
They will undertake a wide range of duties to clinically support the Sonographers and Radiologists and be primarily responsible for the care of patients attending for Ultrasound examinations.
Duties will include assisting staff with interventional procedures such as biopsies and injections and adhering to aseptic techniques.
Chaperoning is a key part of the role. Patients attending the department can range from the unconscious to the fully mobile with uncooperative, incapacitated, anaesthetised, partially resuscitated, disorientated patients and those with complex physical and mental needs.
Some patients can exhibit antisocial or threatening behaviour. The post holder will work to departmental protocols and schemes of work and undertake both clinical and administrative duties. The post holder maybe required to work at other LTHT sites with a commitment to unsocial hours and weekend work.
The majority of the time they will work between LGI and SJUH sites. Effective communication is paramount with both the patient and other Team members to ensure the department runs safely and effectively.

Main duties of the job
- To undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and minor installation works within a safe environment and to a high quality across a range of mechanical and electrical engineering plant, equipment and building fabric systems.
- To provide a multi-trade maintenance service supporting electrical, mechanical and fabric disciplines across the Trust estate.
- To carry out routine inspections, fault finding, basic testing, repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with departmental procedures, safe systems of work and relevant Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs).
- To assist skilled craftsperson's, supervisors and specialist contractors with maintenance, repair and improvement works.
- To support Water Safety compliance activities including outlet flushing, temperature monitoring, TMV maintenance, shower maintenance and associated record keeping.

Job summary
We are recruiting a Autism Pathway Navigator, to support and guide families across east and west Cumbria during the diagnostic Autism assessment process.
The Autism Pathway assessment is the process for children and young people who are being assessed for an autism spectrum disorder. The pathway begins with an Early Support Offer whilst patients and their families wait for an autism assessment, and is completed when family carers and the young person have been offered opportunity to discuss the outcome of the assessment. The role of the Pathway Navigator has been developed specifically to support family carers during the pathway and to ensure a better experience in response to feedback from family carers that the Pathway is difficult to understand and navigate.
Our team provide an effective system of support and supervision, which may include 1:1, pair or group supervision, covering management, clinical and safeguarding supervision.
You will work closely with the Pathway Navigator's already working around the county, to provide equity of service for families across Cumbria.
Main duties of the job
As an integral and highly valued member of the Autism Pathway team, the Pathway Navigator, they will support the Autism Pathway team , working within the Community Paediatric Service to manage the waiting list for the autism pathway, being a point of contact / liaison for parents and families whose children are awaiting assessment. This will include performing welfare checks and ensuring families are kept up to date with their children's progress along the pathway.
The Pathway Navigator will support children/ young people and family carers understanding of the Autism Pathway through the provision of information and advice and enhance connection to local communities.
The Pathway Navigator will take a lead role in advocating for the child, young person and family carers within the service and wider MDT Team, and will also support the understanding of the autism assessment process with external agencies, partner organisations and referrers.
The post holder will establish and facilitate a point of contact for families and carers supporting children / Young People who are being assessed for Autism.
Liaise with clinical colleagues when specific cases need action i.e. pursuing reports, appointments etc
Ensure Autism Tracker is updated to correctly reflect current position for reporting.
