About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Dual Diagnosis Nurse to join our team, supporting individuals with co-occurring substance misuse and mental health needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and improving outcomes for people facing complex challenges. You will play a key role in providing clinical assessment, care planning, risk management, and evidence-based interventions, helping individuals to achieve recovery and improve their overall wellbeing.
Working within a multidisciplinary team and alongside a range of health, social care, and community partners, you will support service users through their recovery journey, ensuring they have access to integrated, holistic, and responsive care.
Main duties of the job
As a Dual Diagnosis Nurse, you will:
- Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments for individuals with co-existing substance misuse and mental health conditions.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care and risk management plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, including motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, harm reduction, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Support individuals through community and inpatient detoxification pathways.
- Provide overdose prevention advice and promote the use of naloxone where appropriate.
- Deliver structured one-to-one and group interventions.
- Monitor and respond to changes in mental health, escalating concerns when required.
- Build strong partnerships with Community Mental Health Teams, GPs, housing providers, social care services, criminal justice agencies, and voluntary sector organisations.
- Advocate for service users to access appropriate mental health and recovery support.
- Promote recovery, resilience, social inclusion, and improved quality of life.
- Contribute to service development, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and staff training.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a band 5 Nurse to work within the award-winning Day of Surgical Admission (DOSA) team at Harefield. The role will be working in the DOSA unit where you will be expected to assist with and prepare cardiac and thoracic patients for theatre. The role also requires that you will work in the DOSA pre assessment clinics. As patients attend the unit on the morning of surgery you should expect to start work at 6:30/7am. The candidate will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team including ANP's, other nurse specialists, and DOSA nursing staff in strengthening and developing this service. Communication and teamwork is important but you also need the ability and confidence to work alone on occasion.
You will need to have a reliable work record, be enthusiastic and committed to providing patients and their families with a first-class service.

Main duties of the job
- DOSA unit is open 5 days a week to admit elective cardiac and thoracic surgical patients on the morning of their operation and to support nurse-led pre assessment clinic for patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery
- The post holder will work closely with the clinical nurse specialists, nurse in charge theatre schedulers, health care assistants, clinic coordinator and multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining excellent clinical standards of nursing practice and staff development as part of the DOSA team.
- To assist in the continuing professional development and overall performance of learners and junior staff in the clinical area.
- The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care wit the guidance and support of more senior staff.
- Work as a team to provide high quality care for patients undergoing surgery as well promote safe clinical environment and take charge of the DOSA unit in the absence of nurse in charge.
- To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover according to experience for any area specified.
- The post holder will be accountable for their nursing practice, adhere to the policies and protocols of the Trust and the NMC. He/she will have a responsibility for their own personal and professional development

Job summary
We have an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 physiotherapist to join our organisation and provide care to inpatient mental health service in Sheffield. This is an exciting role to join an existing experienced team of physiotherapist. Main duties of the job
To provide assessment and treatment interventions for a variety of conditions which may include; musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurology, respiratory and complex moving and handling needs as well as providing assessment and advice on falls management and reviewing patients after they have fallen. The role would require moving between sites during the working day so the ability to travel is essential. This position would be supported by experienced band 6 and band 7 physiotherapists and would require collaboration and joint working with a therapy assistant. An understanding of working with a wider MDT is also essential.

Main duties of the job
The designation of Environmental Services Officer applies to a self motivated member of the workforce. Their duties are to ensure that day-to-day handling and disposal of waste is in accordance with approved practices. The Environmental Services Officer will be employed to cover any post on any shift in the team. Collecting waste and or laundry from areas around the hospital and transport it to the Trust's Waste Transfer Stations or waste storage points. They will join an integrated team responsible for all waste and laundry collection/storage and external litter collection, together with any other environmental service as determined by the Environmental Services Manager.
All Environmental Services Officer in the Capital Planning and Estates Management Department will form part of an integrated team whose role is to provide the best possible service to the Trust. Environmental Services Officers will have both group and individual responsibilities for defined aspects of the service but each will ensure their contribution is beneficial to other departments within the Trust.

The call centre is the main communications for the Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We receive approximately 130,000 calls per month and 20000 outpatient appointment calls per month.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team.
We are offering 3 part time posts with no set work pattern; you will be working according to the needs of the service. Previous roles in a similar environment preferential as we are looking for someone who has an understanding of NHS terminology and structure. You will need to have experience working under pressure and work part of a team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.
