This post is fixed term/secondment for 18 months tomeet the needs of the service
If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
A well motivated, conscientious person is sought to work in a busy Outpatients Dept. The post will allow the individual to enhance their existing knowledge in a varied clinical setting.
The successful applicant will support the trained Nurse in various specialities ensuring that safe, quality and compassionate care is delivered.
The Outpatients Dept is constantly evolving with developments and added opportunities. A good communicator and team player is essential. An interest in Health Promotion is desirable.
A willingness to develop and practice new skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
- Works as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to patients within the outpatient setting under supervision provided by aregistered healthcare professional.
- Undertakes personal care activities and clinical care duties with minimal support and supervision as delegated by a registeredhealthcare professional in accordance with the HEIW All Wales Guidelines for Delegation.
- Ensures the registered healthcare professional is regularly updated on the patients/client's condition and progress.
- Ensures the working environment is safe and hygienic following infection prevention and control policies and processes.
- Contributes to the teaching and supervision of students and junior staff.
- Delivers role in accordance with Health Board/Trust Values and Code of Conduct for HCSW's in Wales.

The successful candidate will have a caring and courteous manner and enjoy working with and meeting people. Day to Day Duties to include, but not exhaustive:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an experienced Band 5 Staff Nurses in the Emergency Care group within University Hospital Southampton (UHS), we have opportunities' for both the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and the Emergency Department. AMU is a very busy 54 bedded unit spread across five areas. We admit patients directly from the emergency department, Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) or GP, at their most unwell phase at any time of the day or night. We aim to treat our patients and either discharge them home within 48hrs of admission, or to move to a speciality ward within this time. This means no two days will be the same and our patients are always changing.
ED is a major trauma centre providing care to patients requiring a variety of services including; major trauma, majors assessment and treatment area and minor injuries. The department also has an enhanced care suite dedicated to those patients experiencing a mental health crisis. The ED prides itself on delivering high quality patient centred care in a fast paced environment.
The ED is an exciting place to work, great team work and multi-disciplinary working ensures that all new starters are made to feel supported and welcome. As you progress through your induction a vast array of learning opportunities are available such as triage competency, suturing, dementia champion, ALS, cannulation and venesection and trauma ILS.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QA Validation Manager to play a key role in ensuring compliance with EU GMP at the Medicines Manufacturing Centre (MMC). Based in Seaton Delaval, Northumberland, the MMC is a state-of-the-art NHS facility dedicated to the sterile manufacture of injectable medicinal products.
Operating under MHRA Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, the MMC ensures a secure supply chain for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) products, while delivering Ready-to-Administer (RtA) medicines to enable nurses to spend more time on patient care.
As a QA Validation Manager, you will be the subject matter expert in QA validation, leading all validation activities within the MMC and ensuring compliance with EU GMP and regulatory requirements. You will manage core Pharmaceutical Quality Systems (PQS) in relation to validation, and provide leadership in maintaining operations excellence, product safety, and regulatory compliance.

Main duties of the job
- You will be responsible for managing validation systems and quality assurance processes, ensuring that MMC operates within MHRA and EU GMP guidelines. Job summary
The Catering Department at Withybush General Hospital is currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant who would like to join a large team of individuals within the department in providing an effective and efficient cleaning and catering service.
The contract currently available is 1 x 12 hour post. This contract is 3 days per week, 4 hours per day, Monday to Sunday. These hours may vary to reflect the needs of the service. Some weekend work - 2 week rolling rota. 1 weekend off in 2.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will play an integral role within the team in ensuring the department is cleaned to the highest standard. Also, there is some servery work where the successful candidate will be face to face with visitors, staff and patients in our canteen serving meals and dealing with cash and card payments.
Candidates will receive uniform and full training.
The candidates should be able to work as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues, staff and visitors alike.
You will need to work within the hospital's policies and procedures and uphold the values of Hywel Dda University Health Board at all times.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Apprenticeship Team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as an Apprenticeships Engagement and Senior Compliance Officer.
This is an exciting role for an experienced apprenticeship professional to support the delivery, promotion and growth of apprenticeship programmes across the Trust. Working with managers, colleagues and external education providers, you will help maximise the use of the Growth and Skills Levy, support staff development and promote apprenticeship opportunities for new and existing staff.
The post holder will facilitate apprenticeship delivery across the organisation and act as the Senior Responsible Person for Apprenticeship Compliance, providing oversight of ILR returns, DAS reporting, levy utilisation and compliance with apprenticeship funding requirements.
Main duties of the job
- Promote apprenticeship opportunities and support staff onto apprenticeship programmes.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver apprenticeship programmes that meet workforce needs.
- Maximise utilisation of the Growth and Skills Levy and identify new apprenticeship opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities:
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of nursing services care to the practice population. Supported by senior nurses within the practice, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role, focusing upon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions, health prevention and screening activities. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
