An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Day Case Unit to recruit highly motivated Band 5 staff nurses to join our dedicated team in order to provide a safe and efficient service to surgical patients.
The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.
Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.
Main duties of the job
Candidates need to be flexible, enthusiastic and reliable- working independently and as part of a team.
The unit is predominantly nurse led with input from other members of the multi- disciplinary team in order to provide a high standard of care to patients both pre- operatively and post operatively. You will be involved in the admission process as well as the discharge planning of a small group of patients each shift and be expected to access, plan, implement and evaluate their care needs.
As a unit we operate using 20 beds and are open seven days a week, currently working 12hour day shifts (07.30-20.00) with future plans to finish at 22.00hrs due to the advances in day case surgeries and patient care.

The Children and Young People's (CYPS) Directorate in Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist to join the Mindworks South Community Hub. You will be based at Theta, with the expectation of travelling to Guildford, Leatherhead or other Surrey locations.
This post will be suitable for a highly motivated Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist interested in ensuring excellent therapeutic interventions are accessible for children and young people with complex mental health needs from diverse backgrounds. This is a permanent full time (37.5 hours) post. Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible Band 4 Therapy Assistant to join our friendly, supportive, dynamic team in Elmhurst.
The Therapy Assistant will take responsibility for the management of a defined workload of patients within Elmhurst following triage by the qualified therapist. This will include independent assessment & formulation and progression of a person-centred rehabilitation plan. The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for New to registration Nurses Midwives and Allied Health Professionals.
Registered Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.
