Job summary
Our Kitchen Assistants support our Chef Manager in the preparation of meals and beverages and participate in the overall maintenance of a safe and hygienic environment. Hours - Bank hours - (Minimum shifts is 2 within a 2 month period)
Holiday -25 days (increasing to 27 after 5 years and 31 after 9 years) + public holidays (FTE)
Main duties of the job
- To cooperate with the Chef Manager with regard to compliance with all food safety legislation relating to the catering industry, with all Health & safety legislation and with the rules, regulations etc.
- To assist in the preparation of fresh food, cook as required and correctly store food items
- Prepare, cook and serve meals for patients as requested i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner maintaining a high quality standard at all times.
- Be prepared to run the kitchen on weekends (low covers at weekends)
- To prepare, make and bake products for internal and external events
- Ensure dining room is prepared for meals i.e. tables, condiments, cutlery etc. Prepare trays for patients as required.
- Cash handling using till and electronic payment methods
- To liaise with our nursing staff re specific patient requirements
- To participate in the completion of all necessary records as required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene control and practices at all times. Follow regular cleaning schedules as per hospice documentation. Ensure the kitchen and all cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery is kept clean, ready to use and is appropriately stored
- To ensure that all washing up duties are carried out immediately.
- Ensure safety of patients and staff by regularly checking equipment is in good working order. Report any faulty equipment to the Chef Manager.

We are looking for friendly, flexible and conscientious people with a love of cleaning to join our team of Domestic Assistants at Wansbeck General Hospital.
This position is for 20 hours per week, with working hours scheduled Monday to Friday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm to meet the needs of the service.Other hours may also be available.

The key purpose of the role is to lead the development and delivery of an evidenced based seasonal vaccination programme across Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS FT.
The primary focus of this role will be the delivery of staff and patient flu vaccination programmes and COVID-19 vaccinations for patients. The scope of the role may, however, be extended in accordance with national, regional, and local priorities and service requirements.
The post holder will be operationally responsible for the seasonal vaccination team and will be the Trust subject matter expert in the delivery of any vaccination related programmes.
The post holder will also be expected to provide support to the Physical Health and Professional Practice portfolio workstreams as directed by line manager.

Main duties of the job
We are looking to appoint an experienced nurse working in the field of immunisation and vaccination to clinically and operationally lead our seasonal vaccination programmes across LSCFT for both staff and patients. This post holder will need to be innovative, flexible and an experienced leader with good project management skills to be able to actively plan, implement and deliver set programmes of work related to immunisation and vaccination and wider portfolio work as required.
Oversee the development and delivery of the Trust's seasonal vaccination programmes that are culturally sensitive and person centred.
Continually review the delivery plan to ensure optimum delivery and identification of lessons learned.
Responsible for supporting alongside Network leads the annual identification of the number of peer vaccinators that the Trust requires and ensuring evidenced based training programmes and supervision are in place to support them to participate effectively in delivering vaccinations across the Trust.
Responsible for ongoing development of the seasonal vaccination service and lead the development of relevant policies, standard operating procedures and guidance related to service.
The clinical and managerial supervision of the vaccinators within the service and clinical supervision to peer vaccinators supporting the campaign.
Responsible for the development of evidenced based training packages and ensuring these align with national guidance and competency requirements.

We are looking for a highly motivated music therapist to provide group and individual music therapy to service users in the borough of Ealing, comprising both brief and longer interventions. You will work autonomously across trust and community premises, building effective and productive relationships with Ealing mental health teams and non-statutory community resources. Tuesdays are a core team day for the arts therapies, so the postholder will be expected to work Tuesdays.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will offer interventions within defined timescales, encompassing both brief, low intensity and some longer, high intensity interventions. Knowledge of trauma informed practice is essential, and you will be implementing trauma informed approaches for a range of presentations. Most interventions will be groups but there will also be scope for individual work. In addition to direct clinical work you will support the wider team to work with service users e.g. through formulation.
You will need to be able to work independently to develop your part of the service in liaison with inpatient and community teams and to supervise trainees on placement. You will be line managed by the head of arts therapies and supported by a structure of meetings with arts therapies colleagues and clinical supervision.
All arts therapists are active in developing the evidence base for their work through the use of outcome measures, clinical audit and research.

Templer Ward is a 30 bedded in patient ward within Newton Abbot community Hospital. 20 beds provide care to specialist stroke and neuro rehabilitation patients following treatment in an acute hospital setting. Main duties of the job
The provision of first and second line support functions in all aspects of IT within the Trust. Typically, this is achieved via the Service Desk function within the Trust, which adheres to pre-defined SLA's and also Governmental recognized National Standards (ITIL).
You will have good experience of supporting both software and hardware, with good knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10/11 desktops, Active Directory, networking and PC, Laptop and peripheral support.
A flexible approach to the work ethos will help considerably, including flexibility to working times based on service needs.
A logical and objective approach in dealing with problems will be essential.
Whilst this post participates in the 24-hour shift pattern, the successful candidate will not be expected to participate in this rota for the first 2 months of service.
The standard technician shift times are 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm - 6am, 6am-2pm, 7 days per week.

We are glad to share an exciting opportunity to join our Virtual ward (Hospital at Home team) as a nurse practitioner. We are looking for a suitably experienced Service Manager who will use their skills, knowledge and experience to provide leadership and direction to a team of Keyworkers who are dedicated to ensuring 'at risk' children & young people with a Learning Disability and/or Autism are able to access the immediate help and person-centred support they need to avoid inappropriate hospital admissions.
Main duties of the job
The Service Manager will continue to embed this relatively new service into the work of the Integrated Care System, helping it to achieve a key NHS target of avoiding inappropriate hospital admissions, working to the NHSE Minimum Standards for Keyworking Services.
This will involve:o Supervising a team of Specialist Keyworkers and providing ongoing support to the wider service of Keyworkers;o Continuing the work of extending support for young people aged 0 - 18 to those aged 18-25;o Overseeing and participating in ongoing Coproduction Projects in the service;o Embedding our new Outcome Measures Framework;The SELECT service continues to embed their practice model using AMBIT and Person-Centred Planning. The Service Manager will have strong supervision skills and be committed to the ongoing development of good practice and development opportunities for the service.

The prison houses around 1,232 patients with a variety of needs include complex and acute mental health needs.
We are seeking a strong clinical, forensic or counselling psychologist, who has previously worked within a fully integrated mental health service, and understands the needs of the Psychological services required and delivered within a prison healthcare setting. As part of this role you will be managing a Preceptorship Psychologist and Clinical Associate Psychologist as well as developing the psychological services at a busy remand site, where many patients only stay short term.

Clinical -
To provide highly specialist psychological assessment of high complex patients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with patients, family members (when appropriate) and others involved in the patients care.
To make highly specialist clinical decisions and clinical judgements about patient care, processes and service developments;
To provide specialist trauma informed, psychological insight, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to patients formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan;

Job responsibilities
In this senior clinician role, the Principal Psychologist will provide clinical leadership to the mental health team, ensuring the delivery of effective psychological services that support the unique challenges faced by individuals in prison. The Principal Psychologist will work collaboratively with the prison's senior leadership team and external stakeholders, and will actively contribute to regional quality review processes and service development meetings, ensuring that mental health services are continuously improved and aligned with best practices and meeting agreed targets. This role will work closely with the wider national psychological therapies team and contribute to service model review and improvement against new research and in line with best practice and NICE guidelines. Additionally, the role involves contributing to regional quality review and service development meetings to ensure that mental health services are responsive to the needs of individuals in prison and actively work to minimize the cycle of intergenerational trauma. By leading initiatives that connect individuals with essential resources and support, the Principal Psychologist will play a vital role in promoting the mental well-being of both patients and staff within a remand prison setting.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical -
To provide highly specialist psychological assessment of high complex patients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with patients, family members (when appropriate) and others involved in the patients care.
To make highly specialist clinical decisions and clinical judgements about patient care, processes and service developments;
To provide specialist trauma informed, psychological insight, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to patients formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan;
To lead and evaluate the implementation of a range of psychological interventions for individuals and groups, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models, and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses; engage in structured and dynamic risk assessments;
To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking in to account both theoretical and therapeutic models and highly complex factors including historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual, family or group;
To contribute directly and indirectly to a trauma informed, psychologically-based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all clients of the service, promoting the psychological mindedness of staff;
To contribute a psychosocial, trauma informed perspective within the multidisciplinary team including for those patients not directly on the psychologists caseload and attend individual patient reviews and risk management meetings where appropriate;
To attend ACCT reviews and segregation reviews in the prison as appropriate and to offer psychological opinion about management and appropriate referrals in that context and, offer psychological understanding into CSIP plans to support management of patients within the wing by prison staff;
Foster good working relationships with Offender Management, Probation to Reconnect services to a psychologically informed understanding of patients needs during transition into open conditions or release into the community;
To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, highly complex/sensitive information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans to the patient, appropriate professional colleagues and to family members, as appropriate, and to monitor and evaluate progress during the course of multi-disciplinary discussions;
To be able to complete and interpret formal psychometric assessments;
To maintain accurate clinical records and keep the PTS dashboard up to date with outcomes data for patient/service and staff outcomes;
To contribute to the development of specialized individual treatment plans or packages of care for patients with complex psychological problems and who may present a risk of harm to themselves or others;
To be able to manage the emotional impact of working, often one-to-one, with people who can be in crisis, who can show high levels of arousal and can be actively self-harming or suicidal;
To work jointly with other psychologists/therapists, to plan and hand over the psychological assessment and treatments of patients that may continue after either transfer to other prisons or released in the community or other recovery-based settings.
In liaison with Mental Leads and/or Heads of Healthcare and the National Head of Psychological Therapies, identify opportunities for and conduct service development projects in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team;
Participate in and contribute to CPD and peer supervision within the wider healthcare team;
Active engagement in appropriate practice supervision.
Teaching, training and supervision
To receive regular clinical supervision from an appropriately qualified and experienced supervisor, in accordance with the BPS and the HCPC guidelines and, where appropriate, from other senior professional colleagues and, to supervise junior psychology colleagues and other therapists and MDT colleagues as appropriate;
To provide training and supervision for members of the service (healthcare and prison) in the delivery of psychologically, trauma informed care and treatment;
To provide specialist advice and consultation and training to members of other disciplines within the teams and to non-psychology manager of the teams on psychological understanding, interventions and evaluations;
To develop and deliver teaching as appropriate for members of staff from other disciplines;
Responsible for planning, delivery and clinical supervision of a specialist psychology training placement for trainees on the postgraduate doctoral courses in clinical/counselling and/ or forensic psychology;
To develop further post-qualification experience in psychology over and above that provided through training by engaging in a clearly planned CPD programme in accordance with British Psychological Society guidance and in line with service model and needs;
To contribute to peer psychology supervision sessions.
Management, recruitment, policy and service development
To plan and supervise the work of undergraduate psychology students, and trainee psychologists and be responsible for their support in their placements;
To contribute to proposals and implementation of policy and service development changes in relation to psychology and psychological therapies;
To advise the Mental Health lead and/or Heads of Healthcare on those aspects of the service where psychological matters need addressing in line with best practice and service objectives;
Responsible for contributing to the planning, organizing, auditing and developing of policy strategies for the delivery of the psychological therapies service;

Job summary
Flexibility needed to cover sickness and holidays is a must. Our surgery hours are between 8.00-18.30, Monday to Friday.

Contributing to keeping the admin and paperwork up-to-date. Ensuring Doctor and Practice Nurse have relevant medical records/hospital letters/diagnostic reports for consultation. Read coding and Scanning of Patients correspondence, Hospital letters, reports etc. Ensuring medical records are kept up to date. Ensuring Doctors consulting room is kept tidy and stocked with appropriate forms. Operating computer for repeat prescriptions. Preparation of repeat prescriptions including EPS system and ensuring these are signed and checked by the Doctor. Operating computers for recording all information as required. Transferring phones to appropriate people and to night service as required. Attending courses and meetings etc. as required. Maintaining confidentiality at all times. We are a very friendly team who work together collaboratively as Amber Medical Services, which consists of Limes Medical Centre, The Village Surgery and Blackwell Medical Centre.
