We are looking for motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our Trust Bank, supporting our Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) and Minor Injury Unit (MIU) services. This flexible bank role offers the opportunity to work shifts on an ad hoc basis across multiple sites, including Lewes UTC, Crowborough MIU and Uckfield MIU, helping us provide high-quality urgent care to our local communities.
As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will work alongside a team of nurses, paramedics, doctors, HCA's and admin to deliver time sensitive, safe, effective and patient-centred care. A full UK driving licence and access to transport are essential due to the requirement to work across different locations.
Please note: Due to recent changes in UK immigration and visa rules, this role may not be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants who do not currently have the right to work in the UK may not be considered. Main duties of the job
- Supporting the clinical teams in the delivery of urgent care services.
- Assist registered practitioners in the assessment and care of patients by undertaking delegated clinical tasks such as recording vital signs and promptly escalating any changes in the patients condition.
- Provide wound care, plastering, ECGs and other tasks, maintaining dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to accurate documentation and patient records using relevant electronic systems. To be aware of the of the importance o
- Support patient flow within the units, including observing patients in waiting areas, assisting with the discharge process and ensuring patients and carers are appropriately involved in their care.

Main duties of the job

- Participate in the on-call rota for both hospital and community as part of the escalation process as well as promoting and facilitating home births.

We are excited to announce that we have an opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic band 8a occupational therapist to join the Evelina REACH service as clinical lead on a temporary contract.
This OT led service provides evidence-based rehabilitation for children and young people aged between 3 months and 16 years with, or at risk of, hemiplegia. The service is protocolised to deliver activity based Upper Limb rehabilitation.
The post holder will also co-lead the Stroke ABI recovery service, alongside neuropsychology. This service provides holistic consultation and advice to children and young people who have had a stroke.
Main duties of the job
This role involves providing specialist out-patient assessment and intervention for children and young people, working inpartnership with families and community colleagues.
The post holder will have operational oversight and responsibility for delivery of OT assessments and interventions in this tertiary level service. They will provide clinical leadership to the team and will support the development of the band 7 and band 6 Occupational therapists as well as the Advanced Occupational Therapy assistant in this service.
The post holder is responsible for clinical governance and assurance including, but not limited to, the management of clinical risk and patient safety, compliance with mandatory training, clinical and professional standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled pharmacy professional with expertise in homecare medicines, procurement, medicines optimisation and service improvement. You will lead a dedicated team, work closely with pharmacists, clinicians, finance teams and external providers, and play a key role in ensuring that patients receive safe, effective and high-quality care through our homecare services.

Main duties of the job

- Lead the operational management and development of Homecare Medicines Services.
- Provide professional leadership for all pharmacy homecare activities.
- Manage relationships with homecare providers, clinical teams and external stakeholders.
- Lead service improvement, digital transformation and quality initiatives.
- Ensure robust governance, contract compliance and financial oversight.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators across operational, clinical, safety and financial domains.
- Support the implementation of new homecare services and innovative treatment pathways.

You will be:
- A registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
- An Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT).

- Passionate about service improvement, patient safety and delivering high-quality care.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to lead the operational management, governance and strategic development of Homecare Medicines Services across University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.

We are excited to announce the launch of recruitment to support the development of our new Experts at Hand team, enabling the local delivery of the national SEND reforms.
The Experts at Hand initiative, from the Department for Education, brings speech and language therapists (SLTs) and occupational therapists (OTs) directly into mainstream schools and colleges to provide early Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support
We are inviting applicants with experience in working alongside Speech and Language Therapists with children or young people with speech, language and communication needs to join our team as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant.
The role will involve working in Shropshire with children in early years and mainstream schools across the age range. The successful applicants will join a team of SLTs and OTs in delivering support to schools in line with the new Expert at Hand guidance. [gov.uk]

To work as the named School Health Nurse for an identified High School, college and a cluster of Primary schools.
To manage the defined caseload, using a public health approach to provide and maintain a high-quality service that promotes the physical and mental health of the school aged population and their families.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist to joint the Pennine West Home Based Treatment Team. We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative and a dedicated practitioner to provide care and treatment for those service users who require support from the Home Based Treatment Team.
This dynamic and driven multi-disciplinary team offer an alternative to psychiatric hospital admission, supporting service users in acute mental health crisis in their homes, as well as supporting loved ones and carers during this period.
The team are passionate about providing person centred care, tailoring care plans to suit the needs of all individuals involved during the care spell and providing a range of psychosocial interventions during their admission.
The team are required to thoroughly risk assess situations and have access to a supportive leadership team to support such complex cases.
Staff wellbeing and development is paramount and well supported in this team.
The post holder will be supported with their professional development as part of their appraisal process, and regular 1:1 supervision is provided.

You will have experience of working with service users who present with complex mental health needs.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
Undertake collaborative care planning with service users and their carers.
Undertake risk assessment and record risks in line with the trust policy
Undertake shift co-ordination when allocated to do so.
Participate in Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) and agree plans with patients in relation to their care.
Maintain their knowledge of evidence based home treatment interventions and deliver these interventions in line with service use care.
Undertake collaborative care planning with services users and their carers.
Undertake gatekeeping assessments to ensure service users are treated in the least restrictive environment.
Undertake allocation of shift co-ordination.
You should be able to demonstrate evidence of care that facilitates a positive culture of patient engagement, a commitment to enhancing the service user and carer experience and of on-going professional development.
You will have experience of implementing effective, evidence based care management / assessment skills and display excellent communication skills.
The post holder will be able to work independently as well as being committed to a multi-disciplinary team Approach (MDT) both of which are essential requirements for the post.
