Main duties of the job
Main Duties:
Front Desk Management Greet patients, handle appointments (bookings, cancellations, reminders), and manage enquiries via phone, email, and in person.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the department for full time, ACC qualified, Senior Clinical Coders, with enthusiasm and motivation to join our extremely busy Clinical Coding Department. The post holder will have responsibility for the clinical coding of all acute specialties, by abstracting clinical data from the patients records and translating it into diagnostic (ICD10) and procedure (OPCS) coding classifications.
With a flexible approach to work, the post-holder will work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. The Trust operates an Agile Working Policy, offering both on-site and remote working opportunities.
A good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology is essential as is a good standard of education..
The post involves some interaction and collaboration with clinicians in all specialties, ensuring that procedures and diagnosis are correct and agree with national standards.
This role requires an organised approach to the workload and the ability to work in avery busy environment where a high degree of accuracy with attention to detail andexperience of working to tight deadlines is paramount.
There is the facility to work from home for a period of time, via remote access.
Successful applicants that hold the ACC qualification can expect a '10%' uplift in addition to their Band 5 salary.
Main duties of the job
The accuracy of clinical coding activity is vitally important for secondary care Trusts, not only to secure the correct income but also to inform decision making regarding the future of clinical services. Coded activity is also used by secondary users within the NHS, Government, and external bodies, who produce statistics such as standardised mortality rates which monitor clinical outcomes and key quality indicators.
The post-holder will be responsible for the clinical coding of inpatient and day-case episodes across all specialties provided at Barts Health hospitals.
The post involves liaising with clinicians and clinical teams on a regular basis to verify data recorded in patient case-notes and on electronic systems.
The post holder will contribute positively towards the development of the novice clinical coders, will act as mentor to and assist in the training of less experienced coders.

? To deal with incoming calls; communicating information to patients, relatives, and the general public in a calm professional manner consistent with Trust policies and procedures, whilst presenting a positive image of the service.
? To follow the Trust standard process when booking appointments for patients, ensuring that the patient is offered an appointment with an appropriate clinician and choice of location where possible, recording the appointment on the Community clinical system as per operational procedure.
? Retrieval of voicemail messages and emails on a daily basis, ensuring appropriate redirection or escalation in a timely manner.
? To send appointment notifications and reminders to patients using appropriate communication methods as outlined in the operational policy, including e-mail, letter and text messaging via the clinical system.
? To send discharge letters and other correspondence to patients and referrers as necessary.

Main duties of the job

Band 6 Dosimetrist for Radiotherapy Treatment Planning and Mould Room
We are offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic registered Dosimetrist/Treatment Planning Radiographer to join our Radiotherapy Physics team, at the Cancer Centre in Cottingham, East Yorkshire.
The successful applicant will join the Radiotherapy Treatment Planning team, a section of Radiotherapy Physics that underpins the Radiotherapy service, which is located in an award-winning facility comprising 6 Linacs, 2 CT scanners, Xstrahl SXR, Papillon-50+ SXR, Flexitron HDR and state-of-the-art Varian (Eclipse) treatment planning system.
You will be joining an established team of Healthcare Science professionals, comprising Clinical Scientists and Technologists, and support staff. The team prides itself on high staff retention and has a pragmatic approach to achieving safe and effective service delivery. We are committed to providing a broad scope for the development of all members of staff.
The department was the first Radiotherapy Centre in the North of England to clinically implement the Varian Halcyon linac, to develop and benefit the patient service, and now has 2 of these units. A Varian TrueBeam has recently been installed, to bring the complement to 4. In addition the department has recently installed SGRT across the fleet.
Main duties of the job
Building effective relationships with the multidisciplinary Radiotherapy department, and supporting the Lead Dosimetrist and wider planning team in the provision of the Radiotherapy Treatment Planning and Mould Room service, will be fundamental to achieving the high standards expected from this role.
The department has long-standing evidence of research and collaboration, developments in equipment and clinical service, and high commitment to quality and governance; these include implementation of a new and novel image guided treatment for the direct irradiation of rectal cancers using electronic brachytherapy, innovative use of VMAT, 4DCT and image guided treatment techniques.
Our commitment to the utilisation of technology includes the advanced use of electronic quality management systems and extensive use of the Varian ARIA system, which have allowed us to implement innovative process management and paperless working. The department was the first Radiotherapy Physics service to gain UKAS accreditation to the emerging BS70000 MPACE quality standard, evidencing that commitment to the delivery of high-quality clinical service is a core value of the team, and we continue to maintain ISO9001 certification for the entire Radiotherapy service.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in the Pre-analytics section in Laboratory Medicine who are looking for a team of dedicated, enthusiastic people to join our team of Pre-analytics (Reception) supervisors. This is a key leadership role within Pre-analytics which will broaden your experience and provide a rewarding challenging work environment. Previous NHS laboratory experience is an advantage although full training for the role will be provided.
ABOUT THE TEAMThe department operates between 8am and 8pm, 7 days a week (including weekends and bank holidays). 8pm to 8am are covered by the shift associate practitioners. We are looking for individuals to work on a full-time basis Monday to Friday 0800-1600 on a few occasions and mainly from 1200-2000. This will include working some weekends and Bank holidays. Main duties of the job

To aid and provide technical support on a daily basis on the IT Service desk. Answering calls to the service desk, logging them within the service desk call logging system and ensuring that requests for assistance are responded to in a timely manner through to a satisfactory resolution.
Providing the users of the service with regular accurate information, ensuring adherence to escalation procedures when dealingwith complaints and dealing with 2nd line technical support staff.
Offering fault diagnosis on all calls reported to the helpdesk achieving an 85% first-line fix target
