Job summary
Our research team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill the role of research administrator.
As a Research administrator you will support the delivery teams across specialities as required. The post holder will contribute to the provision of clinical research services based normally at one location. However, travel to other sites may be necessary as per study requirements.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Administrator is to provide administrative support to the research team. The main responsibilities will involve administration work the creation and maintenance of site files for clinical trials, assisting with maintenance of databases of trial activity, overseeing management of shared email boxes. The post holder will be expected to be able to navigate Excel spreadsheets and data management systems and will be required to develop skills and knowledge relating to the conduct of Clinical trials. The post holder will work within the guidelines of International Conference on Harmonisation Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP E6 R3) at all times (Full training will be given).

To assist IBD Nurses with routine administrative duties.
To photocopy, scan and ensure stationary is all stocked at all times.
To answer telephone calls and deal with non-nursing/non-medicalenquiries.
To work within the required timescales and targets to ensure patients appointments are timely and efficient meeting cancer and waiting time targets.
To work in conjunction with the Trust Waiting List/ Access Policy .A high standard of data quality must be maintained at all times

Main duties of the job
We are a 19 bedded unit which includes one High Dependency bed. We can accommodate up to 6 children for day surgery and work alongside the Paediatric Assessment Unit. Outpatient clinics also run Monday to Friday from the ground floor of the unit.
As part of this role you will be expected to rotate to Peterborough City Hospital Children Wards when there is a clinical need and to offer opportunities to expand on skills and knowledge.

Job summary
This role will involve the practitioner working within the team in a busy Cardiology department providing a range of complex cardiology investigations and producing detailed and evidence based clinical reports.
The post holder will perform a range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations according to grade and within scope of training. The post would suit a newly or recently qualified Cardiac Physiologist/PTP looking for a springboard to further their career. Ensuring a flexible and responsible service, which is based on an individualised approach to patients, respecting their privacy and dignity at all times. Act in accordance with Trust health and safety policy ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. Report any untoward incidents as set out in the Trust policies and procedures. Participate in out of hours and weekend working as required to ensure safe and equitable service delivery to our patients.
Able to liaise closely with patients, including those with whom it may be difficult to communicate, and with their carers, explaining procedures and results as appropriate.

We are recruiting to two full time permanent roles.
Public Health Wales provides health protection services to the people of Wales. The service is integrated and is primarily delivered through health protection teams, Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre (CDSC); health protection programmes (e.g. healthcare associated infections, antimicrobial resistance & prescribing (HARP) immunisation and vaccine preventable diseases (VPDP), Blood borne viruses (BBV), sexual health, TB and Inequalities, and environmental health protection) and the microbiology laboratories and reference laboratories / specialist services. The post holder will provide information management and analysis support for the Health Protection Division, focusing on support for the Health Protection Division. This will involve liaison with a range of stakeholders, including close working with colleagues in Health Boards and Public Health Wales Informatics.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced, innovative, collaborative and dynamic individuals to join a team of analytical specialists in the Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre (CDSC) to provide a proactive and responsive service.
The post holder will provide analytical support to the development and maintenance of public health surveillance schemes in the CDSC. This will include developing analysis plans and advising on efficient analysis of large datasets, as required. Support may be across any of the CDSC areas of expertise as required, including:
- Healthcare Associated Infection, Antimicrobial Resistance and Prescribing Programme (HARP)
- Blood Borne Viruses, Sexual Health, Tuberculosis and Inequalities

We are looking to recruit a Maternity Support Worker for the Dover Community Midwifery team on a 12 month fixed term contact to cover maternity leave.

- Care planning for patients who are accessing the on site beds.

We are seeking a team member for our Adult Mental Health Crisis and Inpatient Pathway.
Would you like to join us as a full time permanent band 7 to 8a development role as a clinical or counselling psychologist? We are ideally looking for someone with prior experience of working within a hospital environment supporting adults with trauma, severe MH difficulties and complex needs.
This is an opportunity to work alongside other psychologists and assistant psychologists with the support of a senior psychologist within a flexible hub model whilst retaining a main base,ward identity and presence, which would be Newbridges 18 bedded male inpatient treatment unit.
The role involves working in your main ward, assessment and treatment wards as well as crisis pathway.
You will provide specialist psychological assessment and formulation to help people as they enter and leave our service with opportunity to finish short term pieces of work in the community if necessary and liaison with wider services to provide a consistent, safe, trauma informed patient pathway. You will support teams through reflective practice, team formulations and providing supervision, consultation and specialist psychological advice
Working alongside the Principal Psychologist for the inpatient services, the postholder will contribute to teaching, service development, quality improvement and service evaluation, embedding evidence-based and psychologically informed approaches throughout the Inpatient Services.
Main duties of the job
Delivering systematic provision of specialist psychological assessments, joint assessments, formulation, care planning and individual/ group interventions within the inpatient setting, by providing strong, effective professional direction, ensuring the delivery of evidence based psychological interventions and practice.
Working autonomously and within a supportive team, you will provide clinical guidance and advice with evidence based and bespoke psychological care to the service users.
To contribute to the planning and organisation of inpatient services.
To provide clinical supervision to assistants and to offer advice and consultation on service users' psychological care and risk management to non-psychologist colleagues and to other non-professional carers.
To engage in research, audit, service evaluations, service developments and quality improvement initiatives.
To provide support for staff development including training, group supervision, team formulation sessions, reflective practice and to play an active role within the MDT meetings.
Staying connected to your colleagues professionally and ensuring you are supported through regular attendance at Inpatient Psychology Hub meetings, AMH Specialty meetings, Trustwide Psychology CPD days, CPD, SIGs, group supervision, your clinical, managerial and professional supervision.

The Jurassic Community Adult Speech and Language Therapy team, based at Weymouth Community Hospital has the opportunity for you.
We are advertising for a band 6 Specialist SLT or band 5/6 Developmental SLT. This role may suit you if you are:
- An experienced Band 5 speech and language therapist with a minimum of six months experience working with adults with dysphagia
- A band 6 speech and language therapist, looking to develop skills and take on challenges in a new area
The Jurassic team is part of the Dorset Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy team and covers Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester, Bridport and surrounding areas.
As a Speech and Language Therapist Specialist Practitioner you will be responsible for providing a community clinical service. The service sees patients in their own home, in clinics and in Community Hospital settings. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members to manage the locality caseload as needed. You will be highly motivated and forward thinking.
In return, we welcome ideas of change that could contribute to creating a better service for people living with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties. We offer CPD opportunities, regular supervision and peer supervision.
Main duties of the job
This post offers the opportunity to:
Work with individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions who present with complex communication and swallowing difficulties
Work closely with experienced speech and language therapists in the community setting to develop specialist skills.
Refer and attend Videofluoroscopy clinic as appropriate.
Develop skills and knowledge of working with patients with AAC.
Attend regular local speech and language therapy meetings with a strong bias to CPD.
Opportunity to supervise band 5 therapists, to work with SLT assistants and also to work with therapists from the other community SLT Teams.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for experienced Ophthalmic technicians run to ophthalmic clinics. This is a full time Band 3 Job which involves to provide a comprehensive, high quality and excellent ophthalmic service at St Thomas Hospital and Minnie Kidd House Community Clinic.
The duties will involve being part of a multidisciplinary team, testing visual acuity, visual fields, intra-ocular pressure and using ophthalmic equipment such as auto refractors and ophthalmic imaging devices: OCT, Optos, Pentacam

Main duties of the job
The Mortality and Clinical Harm Team forms part of the Quality Governance Team and is responsible for overseeing, developing and supporting mortality, clinical harm and Child Death Review processes across University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. The team supports the scrutiny of mortality data, Structured Judgement Reviews, coronial activity and Child Death Reviews, using outputs to drive learning, quality improvement and patient safety across the organisation. The team also acts as a central source of expert advice and guidance for clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
The post holder will:
- Lead the operational coordination of the Trust's Child Death Review process.
- Support the oversight and quality assurance of mortality review processes, including Structured Judgement Reviews and related governance activity.
- Analyse and report on mortality and child death review data to identify learning, themes and opportunities for improvement.
- Support compliance with national guidance, statutory requirements and local governance processes.
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams, governance leads and external partner organisations to improve patient safety and organisational learning.
