Job summary
Candidates are invited to apply for our new and exciting post aimed at senior trainees/post-CCT doctors in Anaesthesia/Critical Care. Our objective is to develop future leaders in this important
emerging field. We offer a one-year fixed term contract (a six-month contract could be considered).
The objective of the post will be to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge in the care of patients contemplating, undergoing, and recovering from major surgery. We anticipate successful candidates will be the future leaders of perioperative care, an emerging sub-specialty of Anaesthesia & Critical Care Medicine.
Start dates as follows:
- 4 positions starting on 3rd February 2027
- 9 positions starting on 4th August 2027
Main duties of the job
The objective of the post will be to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge in the care of patients contemplating, undergoing, and recovering from major surgery.
We anticipate successful candidates will be the future leaders of perioperative care, an emerging sub-specialty of Anaesthesia & Critical Care Medicine.

Job summary
The postholder will work in the Colindale Sequencing Laboratory (CSL) in Colindale and contribute to ensuring the provision of genomic services to our customers, including Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Sanger sequencing, and fragment analysis using a variety of instruments and technologies.
Main duties of the job
- To provide and support molecular routine service delivery within the remit of CSL.
- To carry out NGS on Sequencing platforms using automated liquid handling procedures and equipment.
- Job Holder is expected to work under the supervision of a HEO/Biomedical Scientist, following defined SOP/protocols and would be expected to refer non-routine issues to their supervisor.
- Use the NGS LIMS system to carry out sample tracking throughout the procedure.
- To ensure the smooth flow of samples through the laboratory, from receipt to testing.
- To carry out routine quality control procedures to ensure that samples are being prepared, recorded, and archived to a high standard.
- To maintain equipment, including routine monitoring, calibration and safety checks and maintain records of these.
- To facilitate the day-to-day running of the laboratory by ensuring the availability of stock and reagents.
- To assist in the instruction and training of other staff and visitors, and to ensure compliance with safety and quality systems.
- To encourage the development of a flexible team by supporting training, development, and rotation.

The Alliance Crisis Team serves 3 key pathways:

The post holders will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, holding a clinical caseload and undertaking the comprehensive assessment of children and young people with mental health needs (including risk assessment and the development of risk management plans) who present in crisis to CAMH Services, hospitals and sites covered by the Alliance Crisis Care.
In addition to providing direct work to families and young people, the post holders will also assist the CAMHS and/or paediatrics team with treatment planning and provide consultation to families/carers and other professionals involved in the life of the young person.
The post holder will participate in delivering the provision of specialist mental health services to children and young people and their families and carers across the West London NHS Trust 3 Boroughs CAMH Service and crisis pathway.
The role will include providing brief interventions and outreach work to children and young people presenting with acute psychological and mental health problems where intensive support is required to prevent admission to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Units.

Main duties of the job
The Alliance Crisis Team serves 3 key pathways:

The post holders will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, holding a clinical caseload and undertaking the comprehensive assessment of children and young people with mental health needs (including risk assessment and the development of risk management plans) who present in crisis to CAMH Services, hospitals and sites covered by the Alliance Crisis Care.
In addition to providing direct work to families and young people, the post holders will also assist the CAMHS and/or paediatrics team with treatment planning and provide consultation to families/carers and other professionals involved in the life of the young person.
The post holder will participate in delivering the provision of specialist mental health services to children and young people and their families and carers across the West London NHS Trust 3 Boroughs CAMH Service and crisis pathway.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a trauma-informed social care service within London Borough of Ealing, who are commissioning this service in partnership with West London NHS Trust. We are looking to recruit a full-time Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join our Brighter Futures Clinical Psychology service across our Child Protection and Child in Need teams. 'Brighter Futures' in Ealing is a practice model across children's services which draws upon mentalization-based approaches, attachment and trauma-informed care approaches to centralise relationships as key to supporting children and families.
The postholder will be embedded across social care teams to work with children, young people and parents/families referred to the local authority following concerns around safeguarding and those supported under Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) processes. The post holder will be supported and supervised by a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist within the Brighter Futures service. Main duties of the job
The clinical psychologist will be expected to provide psychological consultation to social workers and the network around them; developing shared understanding, supporting their work with families, and offering reflective space to consider the impact of the work upon them. Social care colleagues will also be supported by the post holder to develop their reflective practice and case formulation skills through group supervision/ reflective practice groups and training. The clinical psychologist role will also provide a specialist psychological assessment, support and therapeutic intervention offer which may include parenting work, groups, and direct work with young people. There will be training available for the post holder to support them in their role.

Main duties of the job
This role is a chance to make a difference in young lives, and as such includes both operational management and clinical duties.
The main focus is to:o Provide day to day senior operational management and leadership for the clinical functioning of the MHST's whilst working alongside service leaders to develop and implement a wide range of interventions and projects with local schools.o Lead on and directly providing comprehensive assessment, risk management and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties.o Work with school staff and cultures in developing school environments that are more conducive to supporting sustainably better emotional health and wellbeing.o Contribute to creative thinking and service development initiatives, and take a lead in particular areas for the team.

Our CAMHS Eating Disorder Service has an exciting opportunity for a Recruit to Train (RTT) Trainee / Trainee Systemic Family Practice (SFP) Practitioner, as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).
Recruit to Train is a government-funded initiative aiming to grow the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand. To help reach this goal, NHSE covers salary and training costs for a 1-year post, allowing services to employ trainees to aid in implementing new or expanding existing specialist pathways to bridge the gaps in CYP mental health support.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your learning from weekly teaching into practical clinical interventions working with clients in the service making a direct impact in the lives of children, young people and their families.

Main duties of the job
We are recruiting a SFP Practitioner to work within our West London CAMHS Eating Disorder Team. This is a training role within the Child and Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (CYP-IAPT) Programme. We offer high quality supervision, with excellent CPD and career development opportunities.
This is a one-year fixed-term post (1.0 WTE), with this training year funded by NHSE. After successful completion of the course the fixed term training contract will end however applicants would be encouraged to apply for any vacant posts within the service and will be provided support and advice in job applications.
This role will be best suited for applicants that are able to balance a very busy work and study schedule. You will be an employee at the service but also enrolled on a Postgraduate Diploma course. As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level. Applicants must be prepared to work towards their studies outside of protected study time (such as on weekends and after work). Protected study time or teaching days are typically two days a week during term (with possibility of extra university days near start) and will be a mixture of in person and online sessions. Applicants must be willing to travel into London to attend their lectures.

We are recruiting trainees across West London CAMHS. The post-holders will be training on the Child and Young People's Psychological Trainings: Early Years and Infant Mental Health Course and carrying out clinical work in our service to complement their studies and use their newly developed skills. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic mental health practitioners with a passion for working with families and children age 0 to 2 or 3 to 5 years old to work and train within our service. This posts may suit a professional with an existing core training who is looking to develop their expertise in clinical, therapeutic practice with children age 0-5 and their families.

Main duties of the job
You will offer a high-quality service to children age 0-2 or 3-5 and their families / carers, alongside working effectively with your colleagues and liaising with other professionals in the network. The training will enable you to deliver, under intensive supervision, high quality, focused evidence-based individual and group interventions for children age 0-2 or 3-5 and their parents or carers. The training will equip those in post to develop and operate effectively in an inclusive, value driven mental health service and team working specifically with children age 0-2 or 3-5 years old. The roles will be exciting and varied, including individual and group working in a CAMHS setting and also working in community Children's Centre or Family Hub settings, offering consultation and support to parents and professionals. The development role enables the post holders to develop a range of clinical skills and experience whilst studying for a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Infant or Early Years Mental Health. Job summary
Due to the success of previous post holders in securing places on the Clinical Psychology Doctorate Course we are pleased to recruit to two exciting opportunities for Assistant Psychologists with both a strong interest, and demonstrable experience of working with young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, to join our team. One position will be full time within Hounslow NDT and the second position will be split between Hounslow CAMHS NDT and our exciting cross Borough Crisis Outreach Resource for Autism Service (CORA). We are seeking to employ candidates with a real interest and commitment to working with young people with neuro-diversity.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be to support other team members with generic and specialist assessments (initial screening, diagnostic assessments, cognitive assessments, school observations) and interventions such as psychoeducation groups for parents and children and individual psychological therapy, under supervision, using CBT and other evidence-based interventions. You will also be involved in supporting and contributing to the exciting Quality Improvement Projects underway in Hounslow NDT. You will be attending regular team and service meetings and will be able to develop a good understanding of how CAMH services work.
For the successful candidate within the CORA Service your role will include supporting the team in service innovation and audit or research when relevant, delivering, under supervision, short term interventions, liaison with colleagues in differing services and the presentation of complex data.
You must have a strong interest and demonstrable experience of working with young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, who may also present with a range of complex mental health needs. You will need to have excellent communication and engagement skills and a commitment to improving service delivery.
You will be expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism throughout your duties and work in accordance with the Trust Clinical Governance Framework.

Main duties of the job
Cellular Pathology invites applications for the post of Biomedical Scientist to join the Healthcare Science Support Team providing day-to-day support within the laboratory.
University Hospital Southampton NHS
Foundation Trust is one of the largest hospitals in the country. It is a national centre for both teaching and research and also a regional centre for Neurological, Cardiac, Paediatric and Cancer specialities.
The laboratories are sited at Southampton General Hospital within purpose-built, well-equipped facilities providing comprehensive diagnostic services delivering both routine and specialist testing to Wessex Region patients and a number of external referral sites.
Cellular Pathology includes neuropathology, paediatric pathology, immunohistochemistry and also incorporates the departments of Diagnostic Cytology, Biomedical Imaging, Electron Microscopy and provision of Mortuary services to the hospital, City Council and local Coroners. Approximately 51,000 samples are currently received and processed annually.

Job summary
Applications are invited for a full time Medical Laboratory Assistant (Agenda for Change Band 2) in Clinical Chemistry based at Airedale General Hospital.
The department operates a 24/7 service. There is a requirement for flexible working within this role with core working hours between 8am and 8pm. The main hours of the role will include rotation between 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 12pm-8pm shifts, and may include weekend working to meet service delivery requirements.
Opportunities for personal development are strongly supported; however please note it will not be possible for the successful candidate to complete the IBMS registration portfolio within this role.
This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list.

Main duties of the job
Medical Laboratory Assistants are a key staff group, working alongside Biomedical Scientists to ensure the smooth running of the pathology department.
The primary duties of this role will involve answering telephone queries from users, locating samples, maintaining outstanding worklists and general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and disposal of laboratory waste.
The successful candidate will be required to work in all sections within the chemistry department, including the automated and manual sections of the Clinical Chemistry laboratories
There may be the requirement to work in other sections of the Blood Sciences Laboratory such as Haematology, Blood transfusion and Central Separating (sample reception), subject to the needs of the service.

Job summary
The Head of Resource Planning will support, and where necessary deputise for the Head of Operational Planning in predicting and defining the future scope and challenges in the planning and performance of operational service delivery. The role is a Trust wide one supporting the implementation of the Trusts strategic aims and on-going development through identifying opportunities for change to support improvements in service delivery. Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead and be responsible for the delivery of resource planning for both in house and external contingent resource.
The post holder will provide leadership and professional management, combined with responsibility for resource planning across the Trust including the development and implementation of planning changes, providing expertise to support directorates in their work to redesign and modernise services.
They will support the delivery of measurable and observable improvements in planning resources both operational (staff and vehicles) and financial, analysing performance and variations to plans to inform the business planning and operational management of the organisation.
The post holder must be passionate, ambitious and have the desire to influence at the highest levels, both within the Trust and with partner organisations and the wider health economy, and must have a clear vision of how this post will contribute to the achievement of the Trust.
