Job summary
The Senior Care Support Worker will:

Be an integral member of the ward/department team working under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered practitioner.
-
Be responsible forproviding care to patients as delegated by the registered practitioner following the completion of specific competencies.
-
Contribute to the maintenance of care environment and quality initiatives to enhance patient care.
-
Ensure that their practice adheres to policies,proceduresand competencies.
Act in a manner that upholds privacy, dignity, respect and confidentiality of patients and colleagues.
-
This post will also include a6-12 monthrotation to Ridge Hillcommunity-basedrehab unit.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Care Support Worker will together with members of the Nursing team and contribute to the implementation of a high standard and individualised patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
The post holder will be required to communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients and relatives and must be able to recognise and report to the appropriate person any changes in the patient's condition which may require the intervention of others.
The post holder will be assessed on appointment on their level of competence and required as part of the Trusts training and development programme for care support workers to undertake a structured pathway of development to include basic skills and in house development programme.

Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of the individuals in the community/ home/ nursing homes and hospitals to determine eligibility to receive NHS Continuing Healthcare or Funding Nursing Care. The assessor will act as a member of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate the process, establish eligibility and assist in identifying a suitable care package. The assessor will be responsible to ensure the review process for all NHS Funded Care is undertaken in accordance with current guidance.
Main duties of the job
The practitioner will utilise the national assessment tools and adhere to the required timescales, coordinate, participate and support the assessment process with the multidisciplinary team. The role will be part of the MDT and determine the individual's eligibility in line with the NHS Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and Funded Nursing Care. This will encompass explaining the process to patients and families, health and social care colleagues and care providers. Ensuring that the process is transparent and clearly understood by all parties.

Health Records Clerk's role are to make sure that all case notes are available for patients events within the Trust including emergency and elective.
Those with a driving licence over the age of 21, will be added to the driving rota for delivery of urgent and elective case notes. A vehicle is supplied for this purpose.
Main duties of the job
You will be trained in Medical Records main library environment. Once trained, training will be undertaken on reception being the first point of contact for patients attending for appointments making sure all demographic details are correct on the PAS system.
Apprenticeship Programme details:
- Apprenticeship standard - Business Administration, Level 3
- Training provider - Dudley College
- The programme is a fixed term contract for 18 months
- Eligibility
Candidates must have:
- Maths and English - GCSE grade D or above, grade 3 to 9, or equivalent in Functional Skills at Level 1.
Please Note: you will need to provide original certificates as proof of these qualifications.
Successful candidates who have a GCSE grade D/3:
- If aged 16 to 18 will be required to complete Functional Skills and achieve Level 2.

Are you a registered play specialist looking for a new, and exciting opportunity?
If so, come and join our amazing team on the Children's Ward at Russells Hall Hospital Dudley. This is an exciting opportunity to work in collaboration with the Play Specialist Team to meet the normalising play needs of children & young people supporting services where children are seen through the facilitation of activities within ward and outpatient clinic areas across the Trust. Iris ward is a 15 bedded female acute ward. We have a robust MDT with a range of professionals working together as a team to support our service users.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team on Iris Ward as a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager. In this role, you will be supporting the Clinical Team Manager and Clinical Leadership Team to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective care.

Job summary
The core purpose of the MDT co-ordinator is to provide consistent patient centred focus throughout the pathway of care, by providing a point of contact along the administration pathway for the Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs). This will ensure coordination of the patient journey, especially for patients that need to move between cancer units and cancer centres. will be responsible for tracking the patients along their care pathway and identifying potential breaches of cancer waiting times and targets. Job summary
The Acute Medical Unit at NNUH is set across three wards currently with a combined bed base of 84 beds plus 9 trolleys. Much like other Acute Medical Unit, we receive patients directly from GP's and the Emergency Department and we ensure all emergency admission patients receive seamless, high-quality care at the point of admission. We see around 20,000 emergency admissions each year.
Where we differ from other acute units is that NNUH has spent a lot of time in the development of Emergency Care which has led to the expansion of the services offered by the Acute Medical Unit. This includes Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), Priority Assessment Unit (PAU) acute medical short stay beds, and advanced care for critically ill patients.
Main duties of the job
The Assistant Practitioner will function as part of the Multidisciplinary Team within the Same Day Emergency Care Unit and the Acute Medical Unit, to provide a seamless service to patients under the remote supervision of a Registered Nurse/Practitioner.
The post holder will continue to develop and undertake a range of delegated tasks and delegated authority and will report to a Registered Practitioner. The Assistant Practitioner will provide a high standard of general/specific care for an identified client group and will be proficient and competent to work across professional disciplines.
The post holder will be able to deliver elements of health and social care and undertake clinical work in domains that have previously only been within the remit of registered professionals. He or she would also have the underpinning knowledge and assessed level of competence to undertake such as role - locally assessed following academic instruction. It is anticipated that this role will continue to develop through the acquisition of further skills, knowledge and competencies to be determined within the clinical teams, with focus on clients need.

The Locality E-Rostering Advisor will provide dedicated locality-facing support, training and expertise to enable managers and teams to use the Trust's e-rostering system confidently, consistently and effectively. The post holder will support the effective deployment of staff resources by analysing roster performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and working collaboratively with locality teams to improve roster efficiency, workforce utilisation and compliance. The role will promote best practice in roster creation and management, supporting services to maximise workforce resources through a solution focused and customer centred approach.
Main duties of the job
Develop and maintain effective relationships with managers, roster creators and system users, acting as the key locality contact for e-rostering support, guidance and problem resolution. Provide operational support to ensure rosters are accurate, compliant and aligned to workforce establishments, supporting service changes and workforce initiatives.
Plan, deliver and evaluate e-rostering training through workshops, one-to-one coaching, floor-walking and refresher sessions, creating user guidance and identifying opportunities to improve system adoption and competency.
Produce and analyse e-roster and workforce reports, identifying trends, risks and opportunities relating to staffing, temporary workforce usage, annual leave management and roster efficiency. Present data in a meaningful way to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Monitor compliance with Trust rostering standards, policies and approval deadlines, undertaking audits, validating data quality and supporting corrective actions where required.
Work collaboratively with operational services, Workforce, Finance, Temporary Staffing and People & Culture teams to resolve rostering challenges, improve workforce planning and support governance requirements. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and drive team player to join the rapidly growing pharmacy team at the James Cook university Hospital. You will be working within the busy pharmacy dispensary team assisting in the provision of an effective and timely service to the patients and staff of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust under the leadership of the Senior Pharmacy Technician dispensary manager.
The successful candidate will work full time hours 08.30-17:00 Monday - Friday.
Weekend working once every 5 weeks Saturday or Sunday (9.00-17.00), reimbursed with a full weekday off the following week.
Would be expected to contribute to bank holiday working rota.
Main duties of the job
The role consists of supporting with running of the pharmacy dispensary including covering reception, using the pharmacy tracking system, bagging medication ready for deliveries, putting away stocks into the pharmacy robot and medication shelves, filing prescriptions and paperwork, expiry date checking and other general house keeping duties.
On completion of training, you will be dispensing a wide variety of prescription types including controlled drugs, prescription only medicines and unlicensed drugs for the inpatients of JCUH and the community hospitals.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer to join the Ophthalmology Department within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient, accurate, and comprehensive administrative and reception service to support the delivery of Ophthalmology services. The post holder will be the first point of contact for patients, relatives, carers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders, managing telephone enquiries and face-to-face interactions in a professional, courteous, and responsive manner.
Working as part of the Ophthalmology Administrative Team, the post holder will support the smooth day-to-day running of the service by undertaking a range of administrative duties, including appointment management, patient record maintenance, clinic preparation, and data entry. The role requires close collaboration with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a seamless and patient-focused service is delivered across the Ophthalmology Directorate.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workloads effectively, and a commitment to providing high standards of customer service within a busy healthcare environment.
This post is 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the service. Undertake general reception duties, acting as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.

We are a small team with a supportive administration team and work closely with Microbiology to deliver safe, patient centred care, providing a 7 day service to our acute hospitals and community hospitals as well as our community nursing service.
Main duties of the job
Your duties will include; undertaking audit, surveillance, supporting campaigns, along with guiding and supporting clinical staff on Infection Prevention and Control guidelines and policies and therefore promoting safe, quality, patient centred care. You will be committed to quality improvement.In return you will be joining a team who are committed to supporting you in your development, providing you with the knowledge and skills to undertake your role.
The successful applicant will receive a 4 week induction period and be supported in the use of core competencies to assess knowledge and skills as part of their continuous professional development in this field.
