Main duties of the job
In the role of Bank Night Senior Care Assistant with Agincare Homes Holdings in Weymouth, you'll have the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of residents. This permanent position offers a salary of £13.46 per hour. As an experienced care professional, you are invited to join Agincare's family at their care home. The job involves delivering and leading high-quality, person-centered care, supporting residents with personal care, administering medication safely, and leading activities to engage residents. Agincare values compassion and experience, aiming to create a home where people feel comfortable and valued. The company offers career development opportunities and a range of benefits including a refer-a-friend scheme, a Blue Light discount package, a company pension, and on-demand pay. The role requires flexibility for night and weekend shifts from 8pm to 8am, along with 12 months' right to work in the UK and a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3). You will play a key role in the clinical provision of services to a varied patient caseload. Therapies are considered an integral part of the Multi-disciplinary team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and as such enjoy MDT working. Respiratory experience will be gained in the following areas
- Critical care
- Respiratory and cardiology wards
- Surgical wards including delivering an ERAS program

- Paediatrics

Main duties of the job
The post offers the opportunity to build on existing clinical knowledge and to grow service development skills in a supportive environment. There will be opportunity to develop your clinical skills via simulation training and sessions with a practice development respiratory physiotherapist.
Candidates should have good clinical reasoning, time management and communication skills. You will be involved in the supervision and teaching of Band 5 physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants and students. The successful candidate would also be expected to contribute to service development within the acute respiratory team which may involve cross site service development.
Continued professional development is encouraged and viewed as integral to providing a quality service for patients. We offer regular supervision, in-service training and actively promote the personal development of all our therapists.7-day working for Therapies is under development within the Trust.

The Brain Injury Clinical Specialist (OT) will work in partnership with team members, service users, DCHS staff, D&D ICB, GP and other agencies to provide effective evidenced based rehabilitation and care to people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). By working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the Senior Psychologist will ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health care, develop and implement trauma informed and evidence-based treatment programs in line with the Psychological Therapies Services (PTS) model, and contribute to the formulation of policies and practices that promote psychological wellbeing. In addition to clinical responsibilities, this position includes managerial expectations, such as overseeing junior/trainee psychologists, coordinating mental health services, and contributing to the development of policies that promote a supportive environment for both patients and staff. The Senior Psychologist will work within a prison, where the need for specialised psychological support is paramount. This role focuses on embedding a trauma-informed and multidisciplinary approach to care, aimed at minimizing further re-traumatization for people in prison while also addressing the impact and secondary trauma of staff to reduce burnout. As a clinical leader, the Senior Psychologist will develop and implement evidence-based interventions that foster resilience and recovery among men in prison, while simultaneously providing support and training to staff to enhance their understanding of trauma and its effects. By working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the Senior Psychologist will ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health care, develop and implement trauma informed and evidence-based treatment programs in line with the Psychological Therapies Services (PTS) model, and contribute to the formulation of policies and practices that promote psychological wellbeing. In addition to clinical responsibilities, this position includes managerial expectations, such as overseeing junior/trainee psychologists, coordinating mental health services, and contributing to the development of policies that promote a supportive environment for both patients and staff. By cultivating culture of empathy and understanding, the Senior Psychologist will play a crucial role in improving the overall psychological well-being of the prison population and the staff, ultimately contributing to a more effective and compassionate correctional environment.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical -
To provide highly specialist psychological assessment of patients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with patients, family members (when appropriate) and others involved in the patients care.
To provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to patients formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan;
To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals and groups, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models, and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses; engage in structured and dynamic risk assessments;
To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking in to account both theoretical and therapeutic models and highly complex factors including historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual, family or group;
To contribute directly and indirectly to a trauma informed, psychologically-based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all clients of the service, promoting the psychological mindedness of staff;
To contribute a psychosocial, trauma informed perspective within the multidisciplinary team including for those patients not directly on the psychologists caseload and attend individual patient reviews and risk management meetings where appropriate;
To attend ACCT reviews and segregation reviews in the prison as appropriate and to offer psychological opinion about management and appropriate referrals in that context and, offer psychological understanding into CSIP plans to support management of patients within the wing by prison staff;

Teaching, training and supervision

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior OT post based on Sycamore ICU ward within Tamarind Centre.
Tamarind Centre is a 89 bedded male medium secure service in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. The centre provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for men who have been assessed as needing care in a medium secure environment and aims to serve the population in central and north Birmingham, as well as offering specialist services for complex, challenging and long term care. Tamarind Centrehas good transport links and is close to rail and motorway networks.
The post holder will work within the established Occupational Therapy team at Tamarind Centre and Sycamore ICU team, supporting service users on admission and during their progression on the unit, delivering comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, formulation and interventions, whilst using evidence-based practise to assist in developing individualised care plans, promoting independence and enhancing functional abilities whilst developing innovative ways to engage service users with complex needs.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Inclusion Worker working within Birmingham Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. The post is based at Finch Road Primary Care Centre. The successful candidate will take a lead in the development and provision of social/therapeutic activities for service users who are under the care of Birmingham Early Intervention in Psychosis Service.
You will work very closely with the Multi Disciplinary Team and have the opportunity to contribute to assessments and interventions, through community activities and social interaction. You will be expected to facilitate and participate in planned and ad hoc group work and individual activities with service users, in addition to this you will be required to motivate and negotiate with service users who may be unwilling to participate in activity and to promote the benefits and outcomes that participation could generate, i.e. social interaction, well-being and independence.
Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the Forensic Medium Secure CAMHS Ardenleigh team. The successful applicant will join an already established Occupational Therapy Service, which aims to provide assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and aftercare to young people who have complex mental health issues, such as ASD and Sensory processing deficits, whilst being committed to clinical excellence and the provision of high-quality evidence-based intervention.
Ardenleigh Forensic CAMHS service is a nationally commissioned Tier 4 Medium Secure Service, which has received recognition through the National Autism Society receiving accreditation. We have an incredible national reputation and have successfully launched our new therapeutic model of care into the service.
As a CAMHS service we are proud to have established the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award into our service. As the Band 4 Occupational Therapist you will be expected to lead the way on supporting the ongoing delivery to empower young people within our services to learn new skills, overcome obstacles and build confidence and resilience.

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) position at Newbridge House, female acute impatient ward.
The individual will need to facilitate group activities, 1:1 session and assist and support the qualified Occupational Therapy staff, Nursing Staff and Ward Manager as required. Hours would be varied, working flexibly which meets the needs of the service users.
You will be working as a key member of that team where you will use meaningful activity to promote the health, wellbeing and functional abilities of patients on the ward, as part of their overall multidisciplinary care plan. You will support service users to engage in a therapeutic programme of care, as delegated by an occupational therapist, nurse, ward manager demonstrating adherence to the Trust Values and operating as a member of the team, service, and organisation.
The activities will involve both one to one work and groupwork, both on the unit and with individuals' accessing community resources which supports the use of activity to aid recovery and enable a timely and sustained discharge. Therefore, it is important that you are able to work dynamically and be able to think of creative and new ideas.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of treatment and care plans where appropriate under the direction and supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist and in collaboration with the nursing team and ward manager.
Theses duties will extend to using The Occupational Therapy Process to assist in assessment, planning and the implementation of Therapeutic Activities within an In-Patient Mental Health Setting.
The Post Holder will be required to work collaboratively and flexibly with Nursing and Support Worker staff to ensure meeting the diverse needs of service users and the function of the wards.

The Band 7 Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) Bank Practitioner provides specialist mental health assessment, risk management and intervention for patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED) and Acute Medical Unit (AMU). Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will deliver high-quality, patient-centered mental health care to individuals experiencing acute mental illness, self-harm, suicidal ideation, behavioural disturbance, substance misuse, dementia, delirium and complex psychosocial crises.
As a senior clinician within the Mental Health Liaison Team, the post holder will provide expert mental health assessment, formulation and care planning for patients with complex presentations. They will work collaboratively with acute hospital colleagues and external partners to ensure patients receive timely assessment, appropriate treatment and onward referral to the most suitable services.
The post holder will support the day-to-day operational delivery of the liaison service during bank shifts, providing clinical leadership, advice and guidance to colleagues where required, whilst maintaining high standards of clinical practice, documentation and risk management.
The role requires a practitioner who can work autonomously within a fast-paced acute hospital environment, demonstrate sound clinical judgement and effectively manage competing priorities.
