An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical support worker to join us on the Gynaecology Outpatients Department with flexible hours over 7 days.
When current staff where asked to describe the department in one word they used: "Enthusiastic", "teamwork", "fun", "amazing", "friendly", "collaborative" and "opportunities".
Outpatients won team of the month in July 2021 for their contribution to the welfare of the hospital and more recently team of the year! As a team we are proud we have received a GOLD award accreditation status for the last 2 inspections and we work hard to maintain this award.

Main duties of the job
To assist in the provision of the service and contribute to the effective running of theoutpatient department, ensuring they contribute towards a quality patient experience.
To assist doctors and qualified nursing staff with the provision of high-qualityevidence based and individualised care of patients being cared for within thegynaecology division.
To provide care and support to relatives and carers who are attending the outpatient department.
The applicant is expected to be an effective member of the team and contribute to the best possible use of resources.

Job summary

Therefore an exciting opportunity has arisen for Theatre Healthcare Assistants to take on roles at Liverpool Women's Hospital.
We are looking for forward thinking and highly motivated staff, who are able to demonstrate good time management skills, you will also need to possess good communication skills (verbal, written & electronic) and have the ability to work as part of a team.
The successful applicants will give direct care to patients attending the operating department, in a safe and welcoming environment under the supervision of professionally qualified staff.
This role does require you to work days, nights, evenings, weekends & on-call.
This role will start at a Band 2 and will then progress to a Band 3 once all mandatory training and competencies have been completed.
Liverpool Women's University Hospital Trust is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a visa which allows you to work in the UK, you are welcome to apply for this role however it is important to note that LWH will be unable to offer sponsorship after your visa expires. You must also have at least 12 months on your visa at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
Main duties of the job
To perform as a safe competent clinical member of the theatre team and provide care for the peri-operative patient under the supervision of qualified staff.
To ensure the cleanliness of all the Operating Theatre areas and equipment at all times and to participate in all cleaning programmes, including before and following routine and emergency operating procedures.
To prepare the Operating Theatre prior to and following operative procedures ensuring correct equipment available and in working order and to notify the Registered Practitioner of any problems identified.
To assist the Scrubbed Practitioner in the preparation and replenishment of sterile trolleys using an aseptic technique.
To participate in swab, needle and instrument counts under the direction of the Scrubbed Practitioner and in accordance with the departmental procedure.
To participate and comply with all aspects of any Local Safety Standards for Invasive Procedures (LocSSIPs) process and associated documentation completion during the provision of patient care.

The role advertised has an on-call requirement and as such please note the below when applying. Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust operates an On-Call service to ensure continuous, safe care for patients at Liverpool Womens Hospital. Staff members who are required to participate in the On-Call rota must be able to attend the hospital within 30 minutes of being called and therefore must live within a travel distance that allows them to reach the hospital within a 30-minute journey time. Where this is not possible, individuals may make alternative arrangements to ensure compliance with the 30-minute requirement, for example temporarily staying with a friend, family member, or in other suitable accommodation located within close proximity to the hospital, any such arrangements would be at the individuals own expense.

The Children's and Young Peoples Mental Health Core Stafford team is recruiting maternity leave backfill for 10 months.
In the role you will deliver a high quality, comprehensive mental health service for children and young people with serious and enduring mental health difficulties. The role involves managing a defined caseload with a focus on working with children and young people and their families who experience a complex range of needs and difficulties.
Acting as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide assessment, psychosocial, evidence-based interventions using a collaborative approach and will be skilled at-risk assessment and management. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to take on an important part-time role within our multidisciplinary inherited bleeding disorders team. You will work with physiotherapy, nurse and medical colleagues in a pan-BCU service to enhance the health and psychological wellbeing of people affected by inherited bleeding disorders. There are strong connections to parallel services in South Wales, the Haemophilia Psychology Association, Haemophilia Wales, and the North Wales Doctoral Clinical Psychology Training Course.
Main duties of the job
In addition to providing psychological assessment and interventions, the post holder will work collaboratively with service colleagues to foster service access and engagement, and thereby optimise the health care experience of service users. Leadership opportunities exist for service development, and consultation, teaching and support of colleagues. There are also opportunities to collaborate cross-speciality for the benefit of the population the service supports e.g. with colleagues working in gynaecology and obstetrics. Continuing professional development, research and the trainee support will also be encouraged.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The Therapies Team at UHNM are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to work within respiratory rotations. This is a rotational experience in Critical Care, Surgical Wards & SSCU, Medicine including NIV, Emergency Therapy Team which includes Accident & Emergency and Acute Assessment Unit, Frail Elderly, Palliative and Cystic Fibrosis.
Applicants will need to have on-call competencies and be experienced in working in a variety of respiratory areas within an NHS setting.
Main duties of the job
The post offers the opportunity to work in an exciting University Hospital. The hospital is a regional centre for Cystic Fibrosis, Non-Invasive Ventilation, Neurosurgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. The University Hospital of North Midlands has a large Critical Care Unit and is a regional trauma centre.
This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills as well as building clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden their clinical skills. Supervision will be provided by the Band 7 Therapists and Principal Therapists and continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.
The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites and the post works within a 7 day shift system which will include weekend, late shift, Bank Holiday and on call working.

Key Responsibilities

Job summary
Havant and Petersfield CAMHS has an exciting opportunity for a 12-month secondment for a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist.
This would be a full-time role within the Havant and Petersfield community CAMHS team, focused on delivering high-quality, specialist CBT interventions to children and young people with significant mental health difficulties (including anxiety, depression, OCD and PTSD).
The role would also involve contributing to the wider core CAMHS team by completing initial assessments, supporting duty and engaging with the formulation, clinical and team meetings.

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join the Long Covid and Multiple Symptoms Multidisciplinary Service. This role involves assessing and treating patients with complex symptoms such as fatigue, breathlessness, brain fog, pain, anxiety and sleep difficulties across clinic, community, home and virtual settings.
This is a unique therapy-led, medically supported service consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapist, clinical psychologists, care coordinators and clinical support staffThe service includes two pathways; digital education programme and a Lambeth and Southwark face-to-face assessment, and interventions including 1:1 intervention or a face-to-face group programme. Interventions are provided in a variety of locations including home, clinic, community and virtually.
The post holder will contribute to all aspects of the patient pathway, including assessment, supported self-management and rehabilitation, participate in multidisciplinary discussions, and play an active role in ongoing service development.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist rehabilitation skills within an innovative and expanding service.
Main duties of the job
- To perform specialised and advanced assessments and treatments as part of the Post Covid and Multiple Symptoms Service, providing home, outpatient and community-based assessments and intervention to patients across the pathway.
- Provide supervision and support development of therapy assistants and students.
- To work autonomously, with support as appropriate, frequently as a lone practitioner and at times in conjunction with team colleagues, across a variety of locations within the community and outpatient settings including client's homes and residential care settings to meet the individual needs of the multi-cultural population in an inner-city area.
- To work across Lambeth and Southwark, accessing and recording information, communicating with patients and colleagues, attending meetings or training using mobile devices, and coming into offices when required.
- Support the service's commitment to meeting client needs and delivering excellence. It is essential the post holder be able to work their hours flexibly and contribute fully to both existing and new rotas. This may include 7 day working and non- traditional shift patterns.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join the B6 Rotational Physiotherapy Scheme across The Royal Brompton Hospital and Paediatric Respiratory services at The Evalina, St Thomas Hospital, gaining respiratory experience from a variety of rotations.
Each rotation is 9 months and includes Cystic Fibrosis, Chronic Respiratory, Paediatrics and Critical Care and Cardiothoracics. There is a comprehensive training program on each rotation and an emphasis on quality improvement and research across the trust with 10 days of study leave a year allocated to each staff member.
Main duties of the job
To participate in the Band 6 rotational scheme which involves working across the Trust on different hospital sites in a range of critical care, ward settings and out-patient clinics.
To provide a specialist physiotherapy service in respiratory medicine, cardiothoracic surgery/cardiology services, paediatric respiratory and surgical services.
