Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Psychologist to work at Callington Road Hospital, assisting with the delivery of psychological interventions as well as contributing to the development and evaluation of Inpatient Psychology as part of the Inpatient Transformation, which aims to make admissions during a mental health crisis therapeutic and Trauma-Informed. We use Comprehend Cope Connect as our core model for delivering CBT-based interventions adapted for acute mental health needs. The job requires excellent interpersonal skills to work with service users and multidisciplinary colleagues, as well as skills to effectively organize and maintain data sets and managing a varied caseload. Experience of working on wards or with people experiencing acute mental health problems would be valuable.
The post-holder will join a supportive Inpatient Psychology team with opportunities to link with peers through team meetings, shared projects, and peer supervision groups. In addition, you can join the dynamic CPD network for inpatient psychological practitioners across the Trust. Opportunities for CPD will be available, tailored to the acute care pathway. We have good links with regional Clinical Psychology training courses and there will be opportunity to work with others in the early stages of their careers including Trainee Clinical Psychologists, other Assistant Psychologists and Undergraduate Placement Students.
Main duties of the job
Service development and evaluation work will make up approximately half of the post-holder's workload; this will include contributing to the development of resources and processes as well as gathering, analysing and reporting on data. Clinically, the post-holder will work on a dedicated ward for part of the week as well as contributing to the running of the site-wide psychology group programme where required. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Gloucestershire Mental Health Support Team - Young Minds Matter, for the recruitment of School mental health & wellbeing facilitator. The post holder will provide Psych educational support to schools within the Mental Health Support team (MHST) using the 'Whole-school Approach' to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people.
Supporting the school mental health & wellbeing co-ordinator, the post holder will work with the whole school community (teaching professionals, children, parents, volunteers, and support staff) to break down stigma of mental health issues, and support children to become more resilient so they are better equipped to understand and manage their emotions.
This will involve delivery of whole school approach presentations around mental health and wellbeing to both students and professionals of varying age and audience size, as well as attending and representing YMM at countywide promotional events.

Main duties of the job
This role is to support the Education and Simulation training for all Resident Doctors / Staff and Associate Specialists / Locally Employed Doctors / Physicians Associates / Three Counties Medical School. The postholder will be actively engaged in Simulation Course Planning, Delivery, Educational Management, and Educational Governance, supporting the Simulation Tutors and all those Medical Colleagues delivering Simulation.
The Post-Holder is not expected to be an expert in Simulation activities - no prior formal knowledge of educational theory or practice is required, enthusiasm for teaching is though a prerequisite.
To help prepare applications for educational grants to enhance simulation capabilities in the trust, under the supervision of simulation tutors, specialty consultants and the PGME team

The senior staff nurse will work clinically on the 22 bedded trauma and Orthopaedic Ward. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced cardiac clinician to join cardiac rehabilitation team. We are a fully certified service which meets the needs of over 600 patients annually who are recovering from a recent cardiac event. We can demonstrate excellent outcomes for our patients. A cardiac rehab enhanced practitioner will be the patient's first contact after leaving hospital, they will support the patient in making the best possible recovery and equip them with what they need to remain healthy long-term. They will work alongside the patient and the MDT to address cardiovascular risk factors, provide education about heart disease, advice on symptom management, and exercise.
Main duties of the job
o To review patients on the ward to provide information for discharge, and discuss attendance at Cardiac Rehabilitation clinic and programme.
o To assess patients in outpatient clinics and consider both physical and psychosocial needs. The assessment will involve giving essential post discharge advice to the patient, and where possible, family members.
o To run telephone outpatient clinics.
o To manage a caseload of patients and prioritise workload.
o To coordinate and lead an outpatient programme of 8 sessions which includes cardiovascular exercise and health education.

We are seeking an experienced Therapy Clinical and Operational Lead to join the new Burren Intermediate Care Beds Service.
The Burren is a newly commissioned service, currently funded for one year. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in establishing the therapy service, developing the team and embedding effective rehabilitation pathways from the outset.
Working as part of the service leadership team, you will provide professional, clinical and operational leadership for the therapy workforce. You will help shape a high-quality, responsive service that supports rehabilitation, recovery, safe discharge and effective patient flow across BNSSG.
The Burren Intermediate Care Beds Service provides a dedicated step-down pathway for people who no longer require acute hospital care but continue to need rehabilitation, recovery support, assessment and multidisciplinary discharge planning.
The service comprises 32 intermediate care beds, alongside an additional bariatric pathway. It works closely with acute hospitals, community services, local authority partners and voluntary sector organisations to promote independence, reduce unnecessary hospital stays and support safe and timely discharge. The service operates seven days a week, with an initial aim of providing therapy input six days a week.

Finance, service development, governance
- In conjunction with the highly specialist renal & transplant pharmacists provide and develop a specialist pharmaceutical service to the Renal & Transplant specialty within the Trust.

The Radiopharmacy provides diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical products and services across the Southwest of England. Main duties of the job
The Senior Radiopharmacy Production Training Officer will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing and progressing production training and competency development for Radiopharmacy Production staff. Main duties of the job

Job summary
We are looking for Band 5 RMN to come and join The BANES Recovery Team. The team provides care, treatment and support to service users with secondary mental health needs and this role will primarily support the nursing tasks and duties within the team for individuals with severe and enduring mental illness.
The post holder will deliver outstanding nursing care that reflects the values of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code and AWP's commitment to trauma-informed practice. This includes fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and inclusion in every interaction.
Your role will involve leading on holistic assessments, collaboratively developing care plans, and evaluating outcomes with service users, their families, and the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team. You will support the physical and emotional wellbeing of those in your care, uphold their rights, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment.

Main duties of the job
As a keyworker, your focus will be on coordination or delivery of recovery focused interventions to people with severe and enduring mental health needs.
You will carry a caseload and contribute toward assessment, planning, implementation and review of care, including biopsychosocial assessments and care act assessments and S117 needs assessments.
You will support the duty function of the team on a rota system, including the clozapine clinic and depot duty.
You will work alongside senior nurses in the team, including the NMP to deliver high quality, effective care to service user's on both the main caseload, and our cluster 11 caseload.
You will also provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues and students, modelling compassionate leadership and reflective practice. Accurate and sensitive documentation will be a key part of your role, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
