Main duties of the job
The nature of Learning Disability Services means that applicants need to be organised, flexible, and capable of forming effective working/therapeutic relationships with both clients and colleagues. Given your skill base as a Clinical Psychologist your colleagues will be proactive in asking for your advice, supervision etc, and value greatly high quality input. You will also be expected to play a key role in maintaining Team health, by facilitating discussion/formulation of Team activity with regard to client work, and beyond. This may extend to providing some brief Psychological support to colleagues. The nature of Learning Disability work means that you will deliver on all of the varied roles provided by Clinical Psychologists - this is something that is highly valued by our Learning Disability Service colleagues and management structures. Amongst other neuroinflammatory conditions. As part of this service we have over 100 demyelination patients, with more than 400 hospital visits per year. The service in addition manages a further 50-100 children with auto-immune encephalitis, opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome, antibody mediated movement disorders, auto-immune myasthenia gravis as well as children with complex neurological presentations as a result of systemic inflammation. The post will provide experience in both the acute care and long term follow up, including managing a range of immune modulating treatments.

The Therapies department at The Birmingham Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced, well-motivated, enthusiastic person to play a key role in supporting the team, offering treatment and ensuring the smooth running of the service.

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionateBand 6 Specialist Paediatric Radiographer to undertake training in Angiography and Interventional Radiology (IR) and join our dedicated team of skilled, dynamic, and welcoming professionals.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, family-centred imaging service, supporting children, young people, and their families throughout their patient journey. Working within a specialist paediatric environment, the post holder will develop the knowledge and skills required to support a wide range of diagnostic, angiography, and interventional radiology procedures, contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a paediatric radiographer wishing to develop advanced specialist practice within Angiography and Interventional Radiology while working as part of a committed multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing outstanding care for children and families.
Main duties of the job
As a Specialist Paediatric Radiographer at Birmingham Children's Hospital, you will have the opportunity to rotate through Interventional, Cardiac angiography and General Imaging delivering an efficient service, ensuing a high radiographic standard is delivered whilst adhering to departmental protocols, procedures, and evidence-based guidelines.
This post will require participation in on-call/shift provision as rostered including weekends and bank holidays.
