Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Nursing Support Worker, Band 3 on St Non Ward which is an Older Adult Mental Health Ward in Haverfordwest.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in an acute assessment in-patient setting and will demonstrate dynamic and innovative practice for the care of older adults with complex mental health needs.
The Nursing Support Worker is a vital part of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to the patients' assessment and treatment pathway in several vital ways.
The successful applicant will be working under the guidance of registered nurses.
The Nursing Support Worker will be expected to engage in a variety of interventions with patients, ranging from direct nursing care, working in accordance with observation and engagement policies, monitoring physical health and supporting the assessment process to enable holistic care for the patient.

Successful applicants will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team but must be able to work flexibly to suit the needs of the service and within a shift system providing 24 hour a day cover, 365 days a year which includes nights.
Main duties of the job
To work as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to patients/service users experiencing mental health needs in the community/home setting or inpatient services, with support and supervision provided by a registered healthcare professional.
Undertakes or supports personal care activities, daily living skills/tasks and clinical care duties with minimal support and supervision asdelegated by a registered healthcare professional in accordance with the HEIW All Wales Guidelines for Delegation.
Supports the enhanced observation of patients who present as a high risk to themselves or others due to a mental health, cognitive orclinical condition.
Ensures the registered healthcare professional is regularly updated on the patients/client's condition and progress.
Ensures the working environment is safe and hygienic following infection prevention and control policies and processes.
Contributes to the teaching and supervision of students and junior staff.
Delivers role in accordance with Health Board/Trust Values and Code of Conduct for HCSW's in Wales including maintaining physical, procedural and relational security.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

You will be responsible for carrying out venipuncture working across the south Manchester Footprint for patients in their own homes, Care/Nursing homes, and in clinics to meet service needs, as such it is essential that you have a full UK driving license and a vehicle insured for business use.
Main duties of the job
The Phlebotomist will respond to phlebotomy requests for patients in the Primary Care Setting.
The service also provides clinics across South Manchester in addition to visiting housebound patients in their own homes or residential/nursing homes.
The phlebotomist will work with minimal clinical supervision and without direct supervision following completion of an approved training course.

Fareham and Gosport Community CAMHS currently has a vacancy for a skilled, compassionate and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic, established and supportive team as our full-time duty worker, with scope for the role to change in the future to 50% duty and 50% case holding.
This role is essential in providing a point of contact for young people, families and professionals known to our team, robustly assessing risk plus providing structured guidance and support.
The role requires you to be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council and have some experience of working within a CAMHS environment or relevant transferable skills. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents. The team is based at the Osborn Centre, Fareham and is a full-time role. Flexible working arrangements will be considered upon application. The team operates a service Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Main duties of the job
1. To undertake assessments of individuals and their families in the designated care group with complex health presentations, including those service users presenting with higher levels of risk.
2. To offer specialist nursing assessment and advice where required.
3. To assess and manage on going risks as identified during the assessment, ensuring that this is done in collaboration with the service user and carers. To regularly review risk factors and make changes to the management of them as necessary.
4. To update care plans and risk assessments in line with required standards
5. To contribute to the maintenance and development of the CAMHS and Trust nursing strategies.
6. To ensure that clinical practice is evidence based and consistent with relevant NICE guidelines and Trust policies and procedures.
7. To provide supervision of junior staff and trainees where appropriate.
8. To act within the NMC code of conduct at all times.

Regent's Park Healthcare (Peninsula Heart Clinic) are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis - maternity cover to April 2027.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will support trained nursing staff in the following clinical locations within the Peninsula Heart Clinic: 1) outpatient clinic; 2) cardiac catheter lab; and 3) day-case unit.
You will be required to promote and maintain a caring and high standard of care, meeting the needs of our patients undergoing cath lab procedures (before and after their procedure) and clinical consultations (as outpatients).
Your role will involve working closely with the qualified nursing staff to ensure patients are admitted and prepared for cath lab procedures, that appropriate investigations are carried out and documentation is completed & recorded accurately. The role will involve the whole patient journey from admission to discharge ensuring patients individual needs are met and planned accordingly.

Working within a fast -paced environment, the band 5 staff nurse will be responsible for assessing , planning , implementing and evaluating evidence -based nursing care while workings collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe , effective and efficient patient flow.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estates team at Stepping Hill Hospital. We are seeking a highly motivated, appropriately skilled, reliable and enthusiastic Plumber/Mechanical Engineer that is able to work well under pressure to carry out plumbing/mechanical maintenance within a hospital environment.
The successful applicant will have a recognized apprenticeship and hold a City & Guilds Certificate or equivalent NVQ qualifications. The post holder will be required to undertake rostered overtime.
Main duties of the job
The post is at Stepping Hill Hospital but you may be asked to work at other sites within the Trust. Experience working in an Acute Hospital maintenance environment would be an advantage, as would familiarity with large commercial/industrial estates. You will be part of a multi trade team delivering a quality service to support patient services within the Trust.
There will be a requirement to work overtime; both rostered and ad-hoc; at short notice as required to meet the needs of the Trust and its healthcare environment. There will also be a need to form part of the on-call response team to assist our out of hours staff where required.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

The role is accountable for interpretations of legal and national housekeeping policies and interpreting this into a deliverable operational practice that ensures GSTT sites are compliant.

The post holder will be responsible for working in an identified adult community mental health service, with the flexibility of working across pathways, dependent on skill and service need. They will be responsible for key working of an identified caseload.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking clinical assessments, in accordance with the clinical service, to establish the person's needs, goals, risks and strengths in order to generate a formulation based care plan agreed with all involved. They will be responsible for delivering nursing interventions, in accordance with an agreed care plan, to an identified group of people experiencing mental health related difficulties.
The post holder will also be expected to be available for consultation, support and clinical supervision to other health professionals working within the Community Mental Health Service and other areas of the Trust where identified as appropriate.
Main duties of the job
Take responsibility for the management of a complex caseload, which includes, specialist assessment (within service specification), care planning in conjunction with service user and carer, evaluation of individual treatment plans - including the 5 P's risk assessment.
Responsible for participating in the setting of quality standards, including the auditing, monitoring and reviewing of practice in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
Administer medication, complying with relevant trust procedures and NMC Guidance.
Assess patient's individual care needs, develop, implement and evaluate episodes of care.
Deliver a range of interventions in accordance with the agreed plan of care and Pathway guidance including; pharmacological and psychologically informed interventions.
Complete and contribute, where appropriate to robust risk assessments and risk management plans. Deliver and promote positive risk taking, where appropriate, to improve quality of life and maximise occupational performance/independence.
Maintain an effective reporting system by observing and reporting verbally and in writing on patient conditions.
Utilise agreed outcome measures to review the effectiveness of interventions, as part of the care planning and evaluation process.
Participate in the development of the service to ensure clinical governance processes are actively implemented at team level.
