Job summary

The main purpose of a Receptionist at Lister House Surgery is to greet patients and visitors in an effective and courteous manner and to provide an efficient and polite telephone enquiry service.
The post holder will proactively communicate information between relevant patients, doctors, and professionals.
Main duties of the job
- To deliver a quality service, dealing directly with patients, relatives, and carers either face to face or via telephone.
- Reception responsibilities include general enquiries, booking and cancelling of appointments, making sure patient details are up to date and correct, copying and scanning of documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Efficiently deal with patients and clinicians requests in line with practice policy.
- Assist patients in the completion of our total triage form ensuring relevant information is relayed clearly.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 3 Mental Health Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality treatment programmes that support the recovery of adults of working age who are experiencing severe and enduring mental health challenges. Working under the supervision and guidance of Occupational Therapists, you will contribute to a diverse range of individual and group interventions, helping patients develop the skills and confidence they need to live more independent and fulfilling lives. This role offers the opportunity to demonstrate leadership within your scope of practice, by supporting patients on their recovery journeys and working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT). Key responsibilities include: Delivering delegated therapeutic interventions with compassion, consistency, and professionalism Supporting patients to build daily living skills, independence, and confidence through meaningful activity Contributing to assessments and providing constructive feedback to the Occupational Therapy team Demonstrating effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across the service Promoting and modelling the Trusts values and behaviours in your daily practice with patients, carers, and colleagues Participating in service delivery across core Occupational Therapy pathways, including: Functional (daily living skills, routines, roles, community participation)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated Occupational Therapist to join us in the Therapy department at Northampton General Hospital, part of the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire group. The post will involve working as part of the joint therapy team (OTs, Physios and Support Staff) with rotations including Acute Medicine, Elderly Care, Urgent Care and Frailty, Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Stroke, Respiratory and Hand Therapy. The successful candidate would be expected to work as part of our 7-day service where weekend working will be required.
As a Band 5 clinician within the team you will be required to take part in delivering a quality Occupational Therapy Service working closely with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team including Physiotherapy, Technical Instructors, Nurses, Medics and the Hospital Complex case discharge Team.
Main duties of the job
To provide a professional Occupational Therapy service to patients on own caseload, under the supervision of senior colleagues.
Rotations include: Surgery, Acute Medicine, Elderly Care, Stroke, Hand therapy, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Urgent Care and Frailty and Respiratory.
To actively contribute to the discharge planning process by selecting and implementing appropriate assessments and interventions to address the needs of patients including those with an acute illness, following injury or surgery and those with chronic disease, palliative illness or undergoing a period of acute re enablement.
Work closely with physiotherapy colleges and the wider MDT
Support the team in the day to day running of the therapy service
Provide effective input into the work of the Trust, to support the achievement of our vision and values.

The UHN Head of Occupational Health Service (OH) is a key position within the University Hospitals Northamptonshire NHS Group (which is comprised of Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KGH) and Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust (NGH), providing managerial, clinical and professional leadership in the Occupational Health Service. As a Senior Programme Manager, you will lead a portfolio of complex, multi-organisational programmes that improve cancer services and diagnostic pathways across the East Midlands.

Job summary
Quality Assurance and Testing is an important part of the delivery of digital systems within the HRA. We have a team of skilled test professionals who make sure quality is delivered in the most effective way. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will create and drive the automated test engineering approach within the RSP working closely with the Head of Test and others in the Agile development team. We are looking to appoint five enthusiastic and forward-thinking Consultants into new roles which combine General Internal Medicine service with a Group 1 medical specialty. We are looking for candidates with a passion for delivering high quality care to patients in a variety of settings, who are enthusiastic about GIM and who want an opportunity to shape and deliver a new service which will enhance the care we provide for our patients. We are looking for clinicians who can help to shape and develop our brand new GIM service as well as delivering high quality care and education to our trainee doctors. These roles provide exposure to a broad and varied case mix, supporting the development of advanced clinical skills and providing excellent opportunities for leadership, service improvement, multidisciplinary working, clinical education, and involvement in research.
Candidates should be dual qualified in General Internal Medicine (GIM) and a Group 1 specialty (gastroenterology, neurology, respiratory medicine, cardiology, stroke medicine, infectious diseases, acute medicine, renal medicine, palliative care, diabetes and endocrinology, rheumatology, geriatrics).
Main duties of the job
These are 10 PA posts, split between one of the above specialist services (4 PA DCC) and GIM (4 PA DCC). Two SPA are offered to include 1.5 core SPA plus an additional 0.5 for educational and clinical supervision of trainee doctors and ACPs within GIM. In year 1 this additional 0.5 will be used to support induction and orientation if this is a successful candidate's first consultant post. A further 0.5 SPA will be available for other appropriate activities that benefit both the consultant and the service after the first 12 months.
The GIM commitment will include 10 weeks per year on a 30 bedded GIM ward, acute and GIM clinics, supervision of the Virtual ward and support for the medical take. Clinic sessions within GIM come with supported admin time between 0.25 PA.
Specialist work in the Group 1 specialty will vary depending on the needs of the service and the interests of the successful candidate but will include the opportunity to develop subspecialty training in one of the biggest teaching hospitals in the country.
On call commitments will be either within the medical take and GIM or split between GIM and the specialty to do a reduced proportion of both on call rotas (depending on speciality).

The post is a full time (10 Programmed Activities) Consultant Stroke Physician role, at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, working across all parts of the stroke service. The Stroke service provides 24/7 cover and currently has seven dedicated Stroke consultants , one clinical Academic, contribution from consultant Neurologists and an Acute Medicine consultant. The stroke service is well supported by 10.5 WTE Stroke registrars who provide stroke cover in a dedicated 24/7 rota. The pool consists of an academic fellow, Stroke clinical fellow, Neurology registrar, Geriatric registrar and Trust Grade registrars.
SpR's take part in the integrated GIM on call rota for when they are responsible to the duty general medical consultant.
Junior medical support is provided by 4 x F1, 2 x F2, 3 x Trust Grade F2, 9 x Trust Grade CT1, 1 x ST (1MT1), 4 x VTS-ST2. All junior staff spend four months attached to the stroke unit and rotate across the stroke wards to ensure they experience all elements of the service.

Job summary
This is a new post and has been configured to support the increasing demand for complex cardiac electrophysiology / ablation and advanced pacing procedures within the Trust. The post will also contribute to the acute cardiology service providing additional support for the increased number of patients admitted with acute general cardiac conditions.
The successful applicant will join a team of 23 full time consultant cardiologists and will contribute to a comprehensive consultant-led secondary and tertiary cardiology service. He/she will have broad experience in all aspects of clinical cardiology, with particular expertise in advanced electrophysiology and complex device implantation. Additional expertise in Inherited Cardiac Conditions could be accommodated.
Most activity will be delivered within the tertiary centre at NUH. The appointee will participate in the Consultant of the week rota rotating through the Acute Cardiac Unit and in-patient wards currently on a 3:20 rotation. They will also participate in the QMC rota also currently 1:10. Weekend on-call is 48 hours from Saturday 9am until Monday 9am also on a 1:10 basis. On-call frequency may change with future appointments. Time of in-lieu is given following weekend working.
Every new post within the department of Medicine now has a commitment to General Medicine to help with the flow of patients from the Emergency Dept. This post has a commitment of 0.5 PA per week for Medicine.
Main duties of the job
Experience of VT ablation and an in-depth practical and theoretical working knowledge of modern 3D anatomical mapping technologies are essential.
Participation in the on-call rota for non-interventional cardiology (currently 1 in 10 covering both campuses). In addition the post holder will be expected to contribute to combined cardiac and cardiac surgical case meetings at NCH. There will be an agreed and equitable share of support (including junior and middle grade medical staff) with the other consultants in cardiology.
Each consultant is expected to take an active role in clinical governance activities including (but not restricted to) clinical audit, incident reporting, review of complaints, risk management, CPD, revalidation and Evidence-Based Practice.
Both main campuses of the Trust are major centres for undergraduate and postgraduate education and teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to play a role in postgraduate teaching within the 10 PA job plan. Contribution to undergraduate teaching and educational/clinical supervision will be reviewed and mutually agreed.
The Trust has extremely close links with Nottingham University, and has academic departments in the majority of its clinical specialties. There are University and Trust research facilities. The Trust has a research strategy and management framework which aligns its funding for research with the research and innovations activities it supports.
About us
Cardiac services are delivered over both NUH campuses at Queens Medical Centre (QMC) and Nottingham City (NCH). The consultant cardiologists at Nottingham University Hospitals provide secondary and tertiary cardiology services.
The in-patient cardiology service at Nottingham City campus consists of a 20-bed Level-2 Acute Cardiac Unit based in the Trent Cardiac Centre (TCC). There is a daily Consultant ward round supported by a Specialist Registrar and more junior ward Doctors (CT, F2 and F1) in Cardiology across all our in-patient ward areas. Cardiology Consultant and Registrar level cover is provided 24/7. The remainder of Morris ward contains cardiac surgical patients. A further 32 Level-1 cardiology beds are located on Papplewick Ward and 22 low dependency, non-monitored beds on Patience 1 Ward which also houses our newly opened 4 bay ambulatory heart failure unit. Patients undergoing procedures are admitted to the 8 bedded short stay unit based in the Trent Cardiac Centre.
Following approval of a £8.5 million business case extend the TCC, to build 2 new cardiac catheter laboratories along with a new office block. This will increase our cath labs from 3 to 4 and centralise our 4 operational cath labs within the TCC allowing NUH to keep up with the increased demand for structural and cardiac rhythm management procedures. These new labs are scheduled to open in Summer 2026.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Junior Doctors, Non-Medical Prescribers, Nurses, Social Workers and Support Workers providing rapid response for adults who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis.
You will be an experienced Clinician and will have proven post qualification experience. You will have a sound knowledge of risk assessment and demonstrate sound evidenced based practice. Experience of working in a crisis team or community setting will be advantageous.
The post holder will participate in the delivery of effective clinical services within the Crisis Resolution/Home Treatment Service in line with specified national and local standards.

Job summary
The Maternity and Gynaecology department at NUH is looking to appoint a registrar at ST3-5 level in order to ensure robust middle grade cover on both our campuses 24/7.
NUH support applicants who are looking to start or are part way through their CESR journey.
Main duties of the job
The Maternity and Gynaecology department includes all hospital and community based obstetrics, gynaecology and midwifery services. 44 consultants contribute to our obstetrics and gynaecology service, of which 18 are gynaecologists, 18 are obstetric consultants and 8 combined obstetrician and gynaecologists.
Gynaecology is provided across three sites, at City Hospital, Queen's Medical Centre and the Nottingham Treatment Centre based at the QMC Campus. Our gynaecology service includes an accredited Urogynaecology unit, reproductive medicine, benign and emergency gynaecology, and Gynae-oncology. The service is in the process of an exciting transformation project, with several aspects of the service relocating from the City to QMC campus and Nottingham treatment centre. As part of the development of Primary Integrated Care Services gynaecology clinics are also held in primary care settings in the community supported NUH gynaecologists.
About us
The QMC Campus will continue to provide emergency gynaecology and an early pregnancy care and all of the fertility services. Out-patient benign gynaecology and short stay surgery are provided in the main at the NUH Treatment Centre, based on QMC Campus. In addition some outreach gynaecology is provided in the community and at Ilkeston and Heanor hospitals. The gynaecology-oncology service, recently recognised as a Certified Centre in Advanced Ovarian Cancer Surgery by ESGO (European Society of Gynaecological Oncology), is currently base at city Hospital campus.
Both sites have a dedicated hysteroscopy and colposcopy service.
Both hospital sites have a labour suite which is associated with a level 3 Neonatal Unit, dedicated obstetric anaesthetic service, and inpatient and outpatient obstetric services.
