Job summary
To provide comprehensive, confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Older Adults North Consultant Psychiatrist, Team Manager, and wider multidisciplinary team. The post holder will manage a varied workload, organise meetings, correspondence, and records, and support the efficient running of the service.
The role requires the ability to work independently, maintain strict confidentiality, and deal professionally and sensitively with patients, carers, colleagues, and external agencies. A flexible approach is essential, together with a good working knowledge of administrative systems and healthcare databases, including PAS/Myrddin, WCCIS, and Microsoft Office applications.
Main duties of the job
Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the Consultant Psychiatrist, Team Manager and multidisciplinary team.
- Manage diaries, appointments, meetings, correspondence, and clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Organise and minute meetings, prepare agendas and documentation, and monitor follow-up actions.
- Act as a first point of contact for patients, carers, staff and partner agencies, handling enquiries professionally and confidentially.
- Maintain electronic and paper records, including patient information, referrals, reports and statutory documentation.
- Support the coordination of clinics, MDT meetings, training, recruitment, travel arrangements and other service activities.
- Prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the service.
- Provide cover for colleagues as required and support the induction of new staff.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with Health Board policies, information governance requirements and relevant legislation.

Job PurposeTo provide high-quality, patient-centred primary medical care to the registered practice population, delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based services while working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties- Provide comprehensive medical services to patients presenting with undifferentiated and diagnosed conditions.
- Undertake same-day and routine consultations, both face-to-face and remotely.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe, and refer patients as appropriate.
- Conduct home visits when required.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in line with national and local guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
- Participate in safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults.
- Promote health education and disease prevention.
- Prescribe medicines in accordance with GMC guidance, NICE guidelines, and local prescribing policies.
- Undertake regular medication reviews.

Main duties of the job
The candidates will be expected to participate in the EGS rota which is currently 1:13 but will likely move to 1:16 following consultant expansion of posts in UGI/EGS. The rota includes a commitment to cover the Major Trauma Centre at the RVI and in-house support/mentorship/further training in trauma care is also readily available as required. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinically trained and experienced pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
The post-holder will work within the clinical pharmacy service, including the Integrated Medicines Optimisation Team (IMOT), utilising a non-medical prescribing qualification to ensure patient's are continued to be prescribed their specialist medicines when they are discharged from hospital.
The role will involve close working with members of the multidisciplinary team members, such as consultants, specialist nurses, outpatient pharmacy staff members, in addition to close liaison with patients or parents/guardians regarding their ongoing medication supplies.
Main duties of the job
Main duties are summarised below.
- Provide high quality pharmaceutical care to patients within the Integrated Medicines Optimisation Team (IMOT)
- Act as a role model in the field of clinical pharmacy and provide a consistently high level of pharmaceutical service
- Support the development of agreed policies and procedures for safe medicines use within IMOT
- Work closely with other staff across other departments to ensure the delivery of an integrated pharmacy service

You will have the opportunity to work across a varied range of elective surgical procedures, gaining experience in both day-case and more complex surgery. Full Time (37.5 Hours) - Part Time Hours will be considered. Hours are worked across a 7 day working rota. Please specify your preference on the application form.
We offer enhancements for Saturdays and any work between 8pm and 7.30am on weekdays at time +30% of your basic salary rate. For Sundays and Bank Holidays at time + 60% of your basic salary rate.

Main duties of the job
The role
You will co-ordinate and monitor emergency planning work activities ensuring compliance with relevant current legislation, NHSE guidance, training against National Occupational Standards, health and safety, standards, codes of practice, organisation policies, and regulations.
You will work with operations teams across the Charity to ensure business continuity systems and plans are in place. This will include business impact analysis, business continuity plan development, assessment, and testing.
You will also support training for staff in aspects of Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR), business continuity and associated subjects supported by the Health and Safety Manager and Hospital Directors.

You will have a strong knowledge of operational processes and procedures and experience in operational roles including but not limited to clinical services, health and safety or estates and facilities.

Main duties of the job
The Clinical Imaging Assistant will be required to undertake a very wide range of duties under the direct supervision of the Clinical Imaging staff and these will encompass clerical, patient care and the transportation of patients to all Imaging departments.
You will need to be an excellent communicator with good inter-personal skills, have a practical approach and mechanical aptitude. A good general education is necessary including basic IT skills. Previous experience working with patients or customers and basic clerical / keyboard skills and computer literacy are essential for the post. Previous experience as a carer would be desirable.

The Pharmacy Clinical Trials Team at the Royal Cornwall Hospital are excited to be recruiting a specialised dispenser as a key role in our departmental strategy to focus on patient care and experience and expand our clinical trials work. To perform dispensing duties for clinical trial drugs in accordance with specific protocol procedures
To select trial packs and complete patient label directions following protocol.
To complete patients accountability and running log for all trial patients
To perform housekeeping duties including temperature monitoring, expiry date checks, and the archiving of trial data (under supervision)
To perform all activities in accordance with training and departmental standard operating procedures
Dispensary and Controlled drugs
To dispense for in-patients, out-patients and patient discharge

We work collaboratively with Alliance Medical in providing the PET-CT service as part of the NHSE National Contract. We also carry out non-contract work such as scanning to aid with radiotherapy planning and clinical trials.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Liverpool site houses a digital Siemens Biograph Vision and our Wirral service is delivered using a Siemens Trinion PET-CT scanner.
The department is dedicated to supporting staff development and training. There may be the opportunity for role development in the future, such as Post Graduate qualifications, research-based activities and/or development of further therapy treatments. You would be required to work flexibly with the department moving towards extended days and Saturday working in PET as the service develops.

The Clinical Health Psychology Department at Alder Hey Children's Hospital are looking to recruit a full-time Band 4 Assistant Psychologist.
The post holder will support and enhance the professional psychological care of children, young people and families within the Craniofacial service at Alder Hey under the direction and supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist. Supporting clinical work, cognitive assessments, evaluation/audit, and supporting non-clinical service activities will all form key aspects of the post.

Job summary
We are recruiting for a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to join Swindon Community CAMHS and work with a well-established multi-disciplinary team at Marlborough House in Swindon.
You'll provide psychiatric clinical input and leadership within a recently redesigned service delivering targeted mental health care to children and young people with severe and enduring mental health needs through our Getting More Help pathway.
You'll work in partnership within the multidisciplinary team for the clinical management of patients. This will include risk assessment, the assessment of the needs of carers, and the development of services to meet the needs of patients and families for whom the team is responsible.
You'll work 10 programmed activities with a job plan typically comprising 75% direct clinical care and 25% supporting professional activities, in line with Royal College of Psychiatrists' guidance. Opportunities are available to develop interests in service development, quality improvement, and teaching and training within a well-established, supportive multidisciplinary team and consultant peer group.

Main duties of the job
- Provide clinical leadership and medical input to the team
- Responsibility for those patients you see yourself, together with those patients seen by medical staff directly supervised by you
- With other consultants in the team, you will have responsibility for the clinical governance as clinical leads for the team.
- The team will assess all emergencies referred to it within a day of referral. When necessary, this will include responsibility for Mental Health Act assessment of patients.
- Work in partnership within the multidisciplinary team for the clinical management of patients. This will include risk assessment, the assessment of the needs of carers, and the development of services to meet the needs of patients and families for whom the team is responsible. Consultant Psychiatrists within the Swindon team have a robust system to arrange cross-cover to ensure there is always a psychiatrist available to the service.
