We have an opportunity for Senior staff nurses / Junior Charge nurses to join our dynamic and developing team in the new Emergency Department at the Alexandra Hospital.
As Sister / Charge Nurse you will help lead and manage the department so that high quality, evidence based nursing care is delivered to patients and their carers.
You will be an integral member of our team whom who maintain our on-going achievement of the emergency access standards.
You must be committed to providing high quality nursing care; you will provide strong leadership and mentorship to junior staff and help support the senior team.
You will be a highly visible leader and be experienced as a professional role model. In working in a progressively changing environment you will promote the Trusts values and be committed to high standards of service delivery.
There is a dedicated Professional Development Team that supports to develop your skills not only as a clinical expert but as a leader and manager.

You will oversee the day-to-day management of administrative teams, coordinate service performance, manage waiting lists, support workforce planning, and work closely with clinical and operational colleagues to drive continuous improvement. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of service delivery.
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and confident leader ideally with experience managing staff, resources, and performance. In return, you will gain valuable NHS management experience, development opportunities, and the chance to make a real difference to patient care across North Wales.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support in the achievement of key operational and strategic objectives for the Directorate, contributing where appropriate to the production of business cases and operational plans.
The post holder, as part of the Directorate Management Team, will also provide support to achieving standards laid out by the Welsh Government and has a key role in ensuring waiting time targets are met. This will involve monitoring waiting times, capacity and demand, identifying problem areas and working with the Operational Management Team to resolve issues and ensure a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of services. The post holder will ensure that routine and ad-hoc information is provided to support the monitoring and achievement of all performance related targets.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership and operational support across our specialist palliative care Inpatient Units during night shifts.
As a Senior Night Nurse, you will be an accessible point of contact for colleagues, ensuring high standards of care, assisting with management of complex clinical situations, and co-ordinating resources across both units.
Various positions are available (hours to be agreed with successful candidates). You will be required to work at both of our hospices (Coventry and Warwick).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Trust as an Ultrasound Modality Lead Sonographer. We are recruiting for a Band 8A Lead sonographer post, based across both our Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospital sites. Post holders will be responsible for leading the Ultrasound department and managing its day-to-day operations in the absence of senior management.
The successful candidates will have extensive experience across a wide range of ultrasound modalities, including obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular, and non-obstetric/general medical ultrasound. You will have a proven track record of teaching and mentoring students and staff. The role includes maintaining a clinical workload, performing ultrasound lists at an advanced practitioner level, act as practice educator to trainee and newly qualified sonographers and making clinical judgements based on the assessment and interpretation of ultrasound findings, including complex cases.

We are a welcoming and forward-thinking team working closely with our partners in schools, Local Authority, 3rd Sector and Health. You will also develop your management skills as you will support more junior members of the team as well as students.

- Achieved an MSc in Advanced Practice.
- Extensive evidence of relevant experience and knowledge.
- Training and experience of physical assessment and clinical reasoning with patients of all ages (including paediatrics and EOL).
- Ability to demonstrate a wide knowledge base and competency in clinical practice.
- Understanding of the emergency care pathways.
- Knowledge of primary health care issues affecting a diverse local population.
- Will have at least 2 years worth of prescribing experience.
