Job summary
We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive the commercial strategy across our clinical services and product offering. This pivotal role will combine strategic planning, analysis, business development, customer and supplier relationship management, and commercial oversight to both retain contracts and to deliver growth.
The role will require close working with colleagues across Steeper services, including central functions and branch-based colleagues. This will include developing a deep understanding of market trends through analysis and networking and then using this knowledge to maximise commercial opportunities within tenders, through organic growth and to develop new opportunities
There is a significant opportunity for growth and development within a varied role and the chance to shape the commercial direction of the Steeper Services business, with scope for growth in responsibility and reward as the division continues to expand.
Main duties of the job
Determine opportunities for new products and services based upon market analysis
Work with Finance and Business intelligence to ensure commercial decisions are based on sound information
Work with the tenders team to define the scope, value and themes within each tender.
Develop commercial pricing strategies specific to each tender based upon the strategic growth plan.
Work to maximise profitability within services through product use, product pricing, and increased product revenue
Expansion of sales within the wider areas of contracted Trusts
Monitor contract durations and then use opportunities to increase prices and extend contracts.
Develop cost effectiveness strategies for Trusts in response to cost improvement plans.
Develop strategies to win new business within current markets and the exploration of new markets
Provide business plans to meet growth targets
Develop relationships with suppliers to scope new opportunities and ensure Steeper receive best value in pricing.
Oversee supplier performance and ensure compliance to contracted obligations

We have an exciting opportunity for Experienced Staff Nurses (band 5) to join our teams within Blood Cells and Cancer. BCC is a busy Directorate that provides the most cutting edge and innovative haematology/oncology, bone marrow transplant, immunology, Rheumatology, dermatology and infectious disease treatments?
We care for patients ranging in age from neonates to adolescent. Our patients require a varied input of nursing care from both low to high dependency, and you can gain specialised skills throughout your practice.
We are looking for registered nurses with excellent paediatric clinical skills who are well-motivated, have exceptional communication capabilities, time management skills and a passion to develop their knowledge.
As a Unit we are committed to your professional development and offer educational opportunities which can be individually structured to include study to degree or Masters Level.
Main duties of the job
Clinical:
- To provide the highest standard of nursing care for the children, young people and their families at all times.
- To plan, assess, implement and evaluate programmes of care for individual children and to supervise other staff in this activity.
- To ensure an ongoing welcoming, caring and safe environment is provided for the children, young people and their families.
- To act as an advocate for the child, young person and family, providing them with information and support and directing them to the relevant support services where appropriate.
- To communicate complex and sensitive information effectively to patients, carers and other staff, overcoming any barriers to understanding and providing support during distressing or emotional events.
- To start planning discharges from admission, liaising with the multidisciplinary team, other departments and community services as necessary.
- To develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge necessary to provide holistic, evidence-based nursing care. This includes completion of the Trusts clinical skills competencies and expanded role responsibilities, following appropriate training.

We are a friendly, well established practice in Chingford, North East London with a diverse patient list of over 10,000 patients.
We have 3 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, a Diabetic Nurse Consultant, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, 3 HCAs and an FCP. We are the lead practice for our PCN, serving a population over 52,000 and have full access to ARRS staff including social prescribers and FCPs.

Pilgrims Hospice provides expert palliative care to the people of East Kent. We have three in patient units at Ashford, Canterbury and Margate where our three multi-disciplinary community teams are based as well as our therapy centres.
An opportunity has arisen in our medical team and Pilgrims is inviting applications for interested physicians. This would be ideal for experienced doctors thinking of a change in career, doctors with a view to building a career in this speciality or have a wealth of experience within palliative medicine.
We have an active educational programme and as a training unit for specialist and general practice trainees can offer some excellent opportunities to develop skills and gain experience.
The post will be based at Ashford but flexibility on sites can be considered. This post is available from 2nd January 2026, subject to pre-employment checks and is part time 7 sessions a week (3 full days plus 4 sessions a month dedicated to education and research). Main duties of the job
- To provide clinical care and medical input to the multidisciplinary team for patients under the care of the Pilgrims Hospice, under the supervision of the named consultant (including hospice inpatients, community patients, outpatients, domiciliary visiting and patients attending Pilgrims Therapy Centre).

Main duties of the job
As an HCA on the evening team you will be allocated via our electronic system onto a handheld tablet, patients to visit in their own homes, primarily across the North of the county. These would normally be within a geographic area, but some flexibility is expected to cover patients countywide. The role of the HCA is varied, in supporting patients in their own home with personal care, mobility, and simple wound care and catheter care. All appropriate training will be provided as part of the induction process. You will work independently but also as part of a team, with some visits requiring 2 members of staff. You will be supported during the shift by a senior nurse on triage.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly and forward-thinking GP surgery. The appointment will be undertaken in accordance with the Pharmacy (Responsible Pharmacists, Superintendent Pharmacists etc.) Order 2022. As Superintendent Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy business and maintaining robust systems of clinical governance, regulatory compliance and professional standards.
Supported by an experienced team of Accredited Checking Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, dispensary staff and the Pharmacy Manager, you will be able to focus on service development and the continuous delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
