Successful candidates will join a dynamic emergency workforce treating a wide spectrum of emergency medicine presentations. This is a great opportunity to broaden your experience while working in a friendly and supportive environment.
There is a strong training culture incorporating lecture-room teaching and clinical supervision, opportunities to attend relevant clinics and courses, and full immersion simulation sessions.There may be opportunities for flexible working, provided all shifts are covered. The post holders will work up to 48 hours per week (including night shifts and weekend duties).
The rota is self-rostered.
Main duties of the job
The primary duties of the post are to assess and manage patients within the Emergency Department. Support is provided by consultants until midnight daily and by Middle Grades 24/7.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian to join the Nutrition and Dietetics Team at Northumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder may be required to work Trustwide at times to meet the needs of the service which covers the counties of Northumberland and North Tyneside.
We are a supportive department and will provide you with relevant training and support required. CPD is really important to us and we encourage participation in training & education. We have a monthly journal club & you will also become a member of the North East Oncology Group who meet quarterly to share best practice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person who has experience and a passion to work with children to join our well established Paediatric Occupational Therapy team. Main duties of the job
As part of this role, the post holder will need to have a wealth of knowledge and experience working with children to join our experienced therapists in the different areas provided by the service. These include carrying out comprehensive assessments of a child's motor, perceptual and physical abilities, treatment sessions, either individual or groupwork, equipment and minor adaptations.
This is a busy team and provides a good variety and range of experience to work with children who attend mainstream schools, specialist provision and carry out community-based assessments. We work in close partnership with colleagues in health, education and social care to provide a high quality and excellent service. We have excellent working relationships with our colleagues in Newcastle to assist in hospital discharges and sharing knowledge.
A typical day working in this team could include a visit to a mainstream school to carry out an assessment of fine motor function to support child's access to their learning, back to the office for lunch, carry out a home visit to support a child and their family to participate safely in activities of daily living then returning back to the office to complete admin tasks. There are opportunities to be part of development work streams as we strive to improve our service delivery and offer for the children, young people and their families.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the General and Specialist Medicine division at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. A 37.5 hour full time role of Outpatients Pathway Coordinator (Neurology and Stroke) is required to provide administrative support to the ASPH. Main duties of the job
You will work closely with Service Managers, Clinical Office Team Leader, Appointments Centre, Clinical Office Staff, Outpatient teams and Diagnostic and Therapy Departments across all specialties within the division to ensure patients are actively managed through patient pathways.
The role will involve monitoring patient's pathways from referral, through diagnostics, treatment planning and treatment, highlighting any potential delays in the pathway and ensuring accurate data collection to support the process and report to clinical offices any discrepancies
You will need to ensure that appropriate requests for investigations are monitored following the clinician's instructions. If diagnostic delays occur or appear imminent, you will liaise with the relevant service for action.
You will liaise with members of individual specialties management teams and the Trust to ensure coordination of all elements of patient pathways. This may include highlighting patient target dates etc. to ensure that investigations are carried out and results received in a timely manner.
You will need to ensure all information relating to the patient's pathway clearly identifies all relevant target dates to aid other users of the relevant systems, such as Cerner, LUNA etc. in allocating resources appropriately.
